  Sounds like a safe assumption.  I work in medical research and I am scared shitless of becoming a parent.  I don't see my upcoming 12 weeks of maternity leave as being a vacation from actual work.  I see myself taking 12 weeks off of my PAID job to work another important, unpaid, and might I add much scarier job.  How is raising a brand new human not a job? Is a job only considered a job if you get paid for it?

  @PrimRoseMama you're the shit, thanks for sticking up for us SAHM/WAHM.  I wonder if OP has to wait for anyone to take a nap before she can get any real work done? Or has to go outside to take a call so as not to wake up said person napping.  Or is stared at everytime she takes a break to pee.
