@soda23, mid-day temps aren't related to BBT. Lol cute GIF! Buttt I still don't think you O'd yet. Keep temping and HIO until you get a sustained temp shift or AF arrives.

I mean, not like it matters but it's still weird to see. Then this morning I got a large temp spike. I guess my body is finally ready to start giving me the up and down LP temps I'm used to seeing so I can lie to myself with more ease. Ahhh troll body, you're not going to get me this cycle.
GTKY: What's your favorite breakfast food?: This is a freaking hard question! Breakfast is the one meal a day where it's acceptable to have dessert and call it a meal. So this is really hard to pick between things like pancakes, waffles, biscuits, cinnamon rolls, french toast, etc. I suppose my favorite healthy breakfast is probably a chive and cheddar cheese omelet.

I am getting AF like cramps and sorry for TMI spotted last night (just when I wiped, no liner needed). I would like to get a definitive answer and to know what's going on. GTKY: What's your favorite breakfast food?: This is really hard for me. I love a traditional English breakfast. I swear I gave out a ton of love tits this morning/afternoon when I was too lazy to get up and type this all out, and I don’t know why they aren’t showing!
@PeggyOlsonFTW - FX for you if you make it to morning and test!
@jmr1515 - sorry for the spotting. I hope it isn’t a bad sign this time.
@PrettyPalomino - It’s certainly not the worst reason to POAS, and that’s what I’ve been using, so you’re better than me!
@jparli - It’s tough to shake ourselves back into reality sometimes isn’t it? And re: your later comment, I’m constantly trying to de-Bump my thoughts before I say them to DH!
@DCHokiemom - How many is a “bag”? Probably you shouldn’t use like 50 this cycle! I’m sorry that you had a bad morning, and I hope your day improved.
@pretzel2plus1 - WOOHOO TWW!!! It’s always good to have goals.
@aspeizer - I think you have a good point re: timing. Similarly, I’m having to have the opposite convo with myself this cycle. “Just because your timing is decent doesn’t mean anything!” Good job on holding off on testing!
@JamieK1182 - 1) did you see my response to you in the Ultimate TTGP Guide? I explained how to get your siggy to look less like Code if you’d like. 2) I commend you holding off so far! 3) Sorry you got crap sleep last night, that’s always a bummer. 4) I don’t know why my response to you is numbered… sorry!
@kfair001 - Ugh, I’m sorry. I do think I agree with FF though that you either haven’t O’ed yet or won’t this cycle. *hugs* I don’t make the rules, but I’d be happy to have you stick around, personally. Re: your later question, I’m a bad sleeper. That’s just the way I am. Yes, my charts are rocky, but I can still identify a shift. One thing that helps me if I’m stressing about waking up affecting my temp is to just put the temp down on a note on my phone with the time when I wake up and then go back to sleep. I still almost always use the temp from my regular time (which is actually what FF recommends… I put the link to that page in a TWW or WTO post two or three days ago (I think).
@shaami1986 - AH, yes, the straw clutching. I bought the Wondfo combo pack (so including ovulation strips for next cycle) as a smack down for myself as I needed one as well! And thanks for the warning, I will steer clear of “Dear Zachary” if Netflix decides to recommend it. I don’t do feels.
@soda23 - Ultimately you’re right. One random temp isn’t really anything that you should let stress you out without the big picture around it. Especially if you really are 5ish days post O, sometimes you just get a random low temp in the TWW. You certainly wouldn’t be the only one to dip below cover in the middle of the TWW. If you’re really worried, you could always HIO. And your mid-day temps mean nothing. Also. I hate lizards. They terrify me. That’s just a random GTKY that you didn’t ask but get to know now because your GIF with that post is freaking me the fuck out right now!
@superscarf - I wish you well in achieving your testing goal! Others aren’t, but I’m personally a fan of the advanced digital over the regular digital, but I agree, both are better than the strips.
@khbear117 - My charts are definitely not nice and pretty, but as long as you can identify a shift, that’s what really matters! If you need to take a month off though, then you should do what’s right for you!
@simcal18 - Ugh, sorry for your loss and that you’re doing the whole, “WTF, FF? I’m clearly not at 20DPO with a negative HPT!” dance. I did it last cycle and it was the worst. *hugs*
@PoodleDoodleOoo - I definitely think of Leslie Knope when I think breakfast.
@Tennis11785 - waiting waiting waiting, that is the game, isn’t it? Hope the time passes quickly for you!
@tamalahoops - is that you had no timing or your timing was only O day?
@H4aPartyof5 - FX that you can hold out on the testing to your desired date!
@Marley629 - Huh. I’ve always thought about watching Chicago Fire. I’m assuming if you’re on Season 2 that you like it?
@virginiaham - Sorry for the BFN. I hope you don’t need your CD60 appointment.

alao, kudos for you for responding to so many people! How do you keep it all straight?!
@Amphibious22 - If the test came back positive yesterday, you probably ovulated today or will ovulate tomorrow. Did you take another today? Some people get multiple days of positive. Unfortunately, some people (like me) also have multiple LH surges a cycle, so you could get a positive test two or three times a month and not ovulate until the last one, which is why we do recommend the temping. FX that you O'ed today or yesterday though and don't have a really long "TWW" ahead of you!
@JamieK1882 - huh. Okay. I have a few other things that I can PM you and recommend if you'd like. Or if you'er happy with it the way it is, that's fine too! @MrsDho11 that's good to know. I'll keep testing for the next few days and keep up with the EOD timing schedule. I'm intrigued with the idea of temping but I'm worried it will have me obsessing over this. I'm trying to ttc as casually as possible, at least for now. I guess I can't be as casual as I think I am if I'm already on these forums though
Me 30 Him 30 Married August 2015 DS born 5/23/2018 TTC #2 July 2020
@Amphibious22 - haha! For me, temping lowers stress because I can confirm O. Well, after the first month. I did find the first month to be kind of stressful as I tried to figure it out and wondered, "will I O or not?". But it's really just a personal decision that you'll have to make for yourself. Without it, you may think you O'ed but then actually O later. Then test two weeks later, get a BFN, and have no clue what's going on, etc. etc. And it helps others here answer your questions better. I totally understand that there's pros and cons though, and we're all here to support you whichever way you go. Just be aware that people might ask for your chart fairly regularly.

Am I not right in thinking you only (generally) release one egg per cycle? So one corpus luteum releases? Sorry this is typing into the grey box I cant seem to change it.

Oh that is well out of my ttc knowledge zone, my bad. I dont even have the mobile excuse I just didn't see the sig
@babymish Sorry I didn't see your reply until now. Yes, you're right. You generally only release one egg each cycle (unless you're genetically predisposed to maturing 2+ eggs at once, i.e. twins run in the family).

R/R/CS: Feeling better today; symptoms are fading. I have a hypothesis: The amount of corpus leteum is influenced by influences how much progesterone is produced. More corpus luteum (eggs released) = more progesterone= more symptoms. I think that would nicely explain my extreme symptoms for the past 5ish days.
GTKY: What's your favorite breakfast food?:
Blueberry muffins. No wait, bacon. No, no… CHOCOLATE CHIP PANCAKES!
Edit because I apparently can't say want I mean.
