@soda23, with a temp that low I would venture to say you haven't O'd yet. Keep temping even though you are far into the cycle, you might be surprised to find a temp shift later on. I'd keep HIO and start checking CM too.

Just took my temp again, not rested and mid-day, and it was 97.75. Maybe I'm just a cold-blooded lizard lady?

  • Month/Cycle: 4/3

    CD/DPO: 56/14

    Timing: -3, -1, +1

Testing: BFN yesterday. EOD-tomorrow, Thursday and Friday (before my "club CD60" appointment) if AF doesn't show up.

R/R/CS: Just waiting for AF. I was pretty bummed yesterday but I have a lot to do this week and no time to really dwell on it. Also, seriously body, just bring on AF eh-nee time now.

GTKY: Eggs Benedict! With kahlua pork instead of ham. (All of which that is made by someone else.)

  • Month/Cycle: 13/8

    CD/DPO: 28/8

    Timing: -4, -2, O

Testing: I'm going to try to hold out till AF.

R/R/CS: My temps have been doing this see-saw thing all cycle but, generally, staying really close to the same. This is the least variation I've ever gotten in LP temps. I mean, not like it matters but it's still weird to see. Then this morning I got a large temp spike. I guess my body is finally ready to start giving me the up and down LP temps I'm used to seeing so I can lie to myself with more ease. Ahhh troll body, you're not going to get me this cycle. ;)

GTKY: What's your favorite breakfast food?: This is a freaking hard question! Breakfast is the one meal a day where it's acceptable to have dessert and call it a meal. So this is really hard to pick between things like pancakes, waffles, biscuits, cinnamon rolls, french toast, etc. I suppose my favorite healthy breakfast is probably a chive and cheddar cheese omelet.

  • Month/Cycle: 14/12 (1/1 TTCAL)

    CD/DPO: 34/16

    Timing: O

Testing: Squinters Sunday afternoon and Monday morning but I'm not convinced. I am going to wait until Thursday or Friday to test again unless AF shows.

R/R/CS: I still have a cold and am mouth breathing so I haven't been temping for the last couple days. I am getting AF like cramps and sorry for TMI spotted last night (just when I wiped, no liner needed). I would like to get a definitive answer and to know what's going on. I feel like my body's drunk or something.

GTKY: What's your favorite breakfast food?: This is really hard for me. I love a traditional English breakfast. Omelettes, french toast, pancakes, eggs florentine (eggs benedict with smoked salmon instead of ham) waffles etc. I guess my favourite anywhere is my Dad's french toast with real maple syrup. However, I'd really take almost any quality breakfast and enjoy it.

    Timing: -2, 0, 2, or -1

Testing: BFN on 12/31 (Wooo!) BFN yesterday. If no AF in two days, I will test again.

R/R/CS:  I know I am probably just waiting for AF, but this is tied with my longest cycle on record, which is three days longer than my typical cycle.  I come from a family with twins, and I believe I ovulated more than once this cycle.

@Amphibious22 - If the test came back positive yesterday, you probably ovulated today or will ovulate tomorrow.  Did you take another today?  Some people get multiple days of positive.  Unfortunately, some people (like me) also have multiple LH surges a cycle, so you could get a positive test two or three times a month and not ovulate until the last one, which is why we do recommend the temping.  FX that you O'ed today or yesterday though and don't have a really long "TWW" ahead of you!

@JamieK1882 - huh.  Okay.  I have a few other things that I can PM you and recommend if you'd like.  Or if you'er happy with it the way it is, that's fine too!  Edited to add here that I split screen my web browser with a text document and type out my responses to each as I read through them all.  It takes a while, but that's okay with me...

  • @MrsDho11 that's good to know. I'll keep testing for the next few days and keep up with the EOD timing schedule. I'm intrigued with the idea of temping but I'm worried it will have me obsessing over this. I'm trying to ttc as casually as possible, at least for now. I guess I can't be as casual as I think I am if I'm already on these forums though

  • @Amphibious22 - haha!  For me, temping lowers stress because I can confirm O.  Well, after the first month.  I did find the first month to be kind of stressful as I tried to figure it out and wondered, "will I O or not?".  But it's really just a personal decision that you'll have to make for yourself.  Without it, you may think you O'ed but then actually O later.  Then test two weeks later, get a BFN, and have no clue what's going on, etc. etc.  And it helps others here answer your questions better.  I totally understand that there's pros and cons though, and we're all here to support you whichever way you go.  Just be aware that people might ask for your chart fairly regularly.  :)

R/R/CS: Feeling better today; symptoms are fading. I have a hypothesis: The amount of corpus leteum is influenced by influences how much progesterone is produced. More corpus luteum (eggs released) = more progesterone= more symptoms. I think that would nicely explain my extreme symptoms for the past 5ish days.

Am I not right in thinking you only (generally) release one egg per cycle? So one corpus luteum releases? Sorry this is typing into the grey box I cant seem to change it.

@babymish Sorry I didn't see your reply until now. Yes, you're right. You generally only release one egg each cycle (unless you're genetically predisposed to maturing 2+ eggs at once, i.e. twins run in the family).
