Ten (or three) things happening in your life right now...let's hear 'em!
1. The week between Christmas and New Years was great! H was home with DD and I and we spent lots of quality time together. Very limited bumping but that's ok.
2. NYE was so chill. We putDD down at a normal time and then cooked a fancy dinner; lobster tails and filet. It was so good!
3. After dinner we watched 'Martian' with Matt Damon. I was unsure about it, but it was an awesome movie.
4. Related to number 3, I really enjoy space related movies. When I was young I wanted to be an astronaut. I watched Apollo 13 and though it would be a good occupation. Ha!
5. I started reading the "The life changing art of tidying up" by Marie Kondo. So far so good. I'm interested to see if I can actually purge as much as she's suggesting. Has anyone followed her advice and had success?
6. We have our anatomy scan on Friday and I'm anxious to see if baby is developing properly. It's such an exciting yet anxiety provoking scan!
7. We found out that my SIL (who's been trying for over a year) is 12 weeks pregnant. I'm over the moon for them! I'm also so excited that DD will have a cousin in July!
8. I feel more worn out than usual. DD is going through a tantrum/yelling phase so that's probably why, but its especially trying the last few weeks for me.
9. H is bugging me for more sex than once a week. My drive has yet to return. I don't know what to tell him anymore. It's not my fault. Damn hormones.
10. I just want to lay around and hibernate now that it's actually cold here. I'm so not a cold weather gal!
Re: TTT
2. My youngest is headed to the dr today for it. He had a reaction to one of his vaccines last week, and I just can't risk his sickness being connected to that...just in case.
3. We had our reveal party on Sunday! DS1 wanted a sister so bad...it's another brother! When he saw the blue I asked him if it was ok Cuz I knew he wanted a sister...his response? "No mama, it's still a sister" we have some work to do lol
4. He does call his little sister "Brayden"...so that's a start anyway lol
5. After having all last week off babysitting, it's hard to get back into the swing of things!
6. Tax season can kiss my butt. I want my hubby home at a decent hour!
7. I passed my 3 hour glucose test! Yay! I feel like my luck has to run out with that sooner or later...
8. My parents came to our reveal party, ate the food and left before the reveal (right after we all finished eating). I'm pretty mad about it, but it's just not worth it to make a fuss. Especially since they wanted it to be a girl and they're 2 year olds when they don't get their way.
9. Last baby...I thought I'd be more sad about it. Not just having all boys, I'm surprisingly more than ok with that...just, making our family complete and being ok with it...I thought I'd be sad. I'm really ok! DH on the other hand is more upset than he thought he'd be
10. My aunt and her wife are starting the process of having a baby!!! I'm so excited for them!!! I can barely contain myself!!!
2. First week back with both daycare kids, yesterday the troublesome one was awesome, please let it last
3. I miss crawling around on the floor with my son but the PSD won't allow it, I feel like a lazy mom.
4. Our gender scan is the 19th and that seems like forever away. I was team great with my son and it was awesome but I need to find out with the twins, that was enough of a surprise for me!!!
5. I want to nest like crazy but I also want to wait for the gender scan to make my final nursery decor choice
@Jenly17 How exciting for your SIL!
It took my DH and I almost two years to get pregnant. I bet they are ecstatic! Have you seen Interstellar? DH and I watched that the other night, it was pretty good. I still want to see the Martian.
@jessiedee13 Is your husband a CPA? That's kinda rude your parents left before the reveal, it's not like they would have had to wait that long!

3. It's finally cold here. Highs in the 30s all week! I don't love the cold, but I was so done with the incessant rain combined with 60s/70s that I'll take it.
4. It's been a whirlwind few months for our family. One last big trip is planned to Orlando in 2 weeks, then things will be more low-key until baby is born.
5. My sister is getting married in June. I'm her matron of honor, so I should probably get on the shower and bachelorette party planning at some point. Fun times.
6. H and I finally have a short list of names for baby boy, but I have no clue how to narrow it down, so instead I'm just pretending like that task doesn't exist for the moment...
7. We took our Christmas decorations down this weekend... I always hate doing that.
8. Downton Abby is back! I can't get into it as much as I used to, but it's still fun to watch.
9. DD has started showing interest in learning colors! And she's actually getting them right once in a while.
10. Is it really only Tuesday? The first week after the new year always seems to drag on forever
2. Back at work after a 3 week break - can I have another 3 weeks off please?
3. Clients not paying for our awesome services is starting to get on my nerves (we run an ad agency).
4. DH and I started watching Shameless and it is hilariously ridiculous.
5. My sister (work partner/colleague as well) admitted today that she is struggling to get excited and be happy about my baby. (She is older and no kids yet).
6. Excited for dinner tonight - Lamb and green salad with nuts!
7. Our 5 year wedding anniversary is on Friday.
8. My parents 33 year wedding anniversary is also on Friday.
9. I miss my DH even though I saw him this morning and will see him tonight - I am such a sob.

1. First day back to work in 5days.. its haaard!
2. woke up huge this morning. The belly has taken over!
3. Hubby and I got registries done this weekend, and are going to ikea for the crib sometime soon.
4. My niece is sick with an ear infection. she is the saddest little girl when she is sick, I hate it.
5. So ready to move desks at work, I cant stand the guy who sits next me!
6. 19 more days till our week long vacation in Disney world!
7. 9 More days till our 4th anniversary!
8. Was trying to go at least one TTT without saying anything about food. But I really want some garlic cheese bread and pizza!!
9. I've only been at work for an hour and I'm already ready to go home!
10. Hope everyone has an amazing day! looking forward to Bump Day tomorrow, my most favorite day of the week!!
1. It is finally feeling like winter here and I HATE it. I cannot stay warm.
2. We live in an apartment for now and there is a gym here, I usually walk to the gym and yesterday I had to double up on clothes just to walk there.
3. I should be thankful because it's still not really as cold as it usually gets this time of year and the high for Saturday is in the 50s.
4. Going back to work was a little difficult. I'm glad I'm working from home today!
5. DH and I have started the process of buying a house over here. It is stressful. Mainly because I had told him when we sold our old house he needed to start saving for help with a down payment on the new one. Did he? Nope!
6. We went to look at our favorite house on our list on Sunday and I was not impressed. The realtor who took the pictures is an excellent photographer.
7. I'm freezing and being under a warm blanket and sipping hot tea isn't even helping.
8. I'm making tacos for dinner tonight. I want it to be dinner time now.
9. I still can't get enough salads. I'm not complaining!
10. Going to the gym at the apartments is nice because there aren't as many new years resolutioners.

2. @charissadeats I live in North Dakota. Temps really aren't so bad right now... about 15-30 degrees. A friend of mine posted a memory on Facebook of the temp on Jan 4, 2014 and it was 52 BELOW. That's an 80 degree swing, folks. Welcome to North Dakota.
3. My husband works in the oil and gas industry as a frac company man. Since it obviously gets cold in the winter and the oil prices are terrible, his company has stopped fracking until March 1, so he is a stay at home H for now. I am loving having dinner cooking when I get home. I could get used to this!
4. I've been a nesting and purging fool. I am actually pretty good about going through my stuff pretty regularly and I hate clutter, but now I'm going through every. dang. thing. @Jenly17, The Life Changing Magic of Tidying up has been on my reading list for a while. I've read summaries on the book and think it has some valuable tips.
5. We are getting new carpet in our living room/hallway, but I can't decide if I want to do the upstairs bedrooms, too. It doesn't really NEED new carpet, but the carpet is builder-grade and I wouldn't mind something a little cozier. The only reason I don't want to do it is because I don't want to bother moving beds and dressers downstairs.
6. I'm so hungry all the time.
7. I haven't had a full week of work in 4 weeks. This is brutal.
8. I'm sad about not taking any trips this winter. It's just hard to justify taking vacation from work because any vacation days I use before maternity leave equates to less paid days during leave. It will go fast, though.
9. I'm reading an interesting book right now. It's called 7: An Experimental Mutiny Against Excess. This woman has a different theme every month of an area of her life that she is looking to simply. For example, one month she only ate 7 types of food, the next she only wore 7 articles of clothing, the next she eliminated 7 types of media, etc. I really like it. It is definitely a Christian book, though.
10. My mantra for 2016 is "Focus and Follow Through". I am sometimes guilty of making lofty goals for myself, but I don't focus on the steps to get it accomplished. That's my mission for this year!
2. Day 2 of eating healthier and bringing our food to work. So far so good. Hopefully we can actually save some money this month.
3. Moving the stuff out of the nursery this weekend. Excited bc it means we're that much closer to painting. Progress. Yay!
4. Excited for the few days of cooler weather we got. Not so excited it will almost be back up to 80 this weekend.
5. The one irritating person who sits near me came back to work today. Already annoying. He hasn't stopped talking yet in the past hour.
6. I assumed one of the assignments I hadn't been able to finish before vacation would have been finished by someone else when I was out... Of course not. It just got assigned back to me. Like I don't already have other stuff to do. Let's add an a month old task to my plate.
7. The dog has been super irritating lately. He apparently thinks everything is his now. So if I have something he wants and I won't give it to him he barks.
8. I just got a very good message from someone at work. Not expected at all, but definitely not complaining.
9. My bump is definitely bigger now. When I brushed my teeth this morning I went to spit out the toothpaste and ended up spitting it all over myself bc I didn't lean over as far as I need to now. That and DH now comments on it every single day.
10. I brought a few small cookies to work today for a snack throughout the day. I'm half temped to just eat them all now.
2. It was really hard to go back to work.
3. We took down Christmas decorations over the weekend and I forgot the decorations around the chandelier. I always forget something. I didn't even realize it until DS pointed it out to me yesterday.
4. DH is doing well in his new job and really enjoys it; I'm so happy for him!
5. I'm so excited for lunch today. I put together a nice salad for lunch today just like yesterday.
6. I've had very extreme cravings this pregnancy: all of the vegetables and all of the sweets.
7. There is a house that came on the market that we might look at because it's in our school district still and has 2 more bedrooms than we have. It's really scary to think about moving in the third trimester though.
8. DS was a somersaulting maniac yesterday. It's fun to watch him, but also nerve-wracking because he doesn't always give himself enough room yet.
9. I really want to organize our basement to keep renovating it. It's a storage mess right now.
10. LO really enjoyed Star Wars-- every time the Millenium Falcon music or Jedi theme came on, he did a little dance.
2. So far I'm starting the year being productive at work yay!
3. @Bluejay3030 my sister is also getting married in June and I'm the matron of honor. I just made a rough plan for the batchelorette party weekend. Lots of out of town girls coming for a Wisconsin adventure that I'm going to pretend I can participate in
4. This party will likely be the first weekend in June... We will see how it goes
5. I think I will make DH be our driver for said batchelorette party. He is worried about what to do with the baby... My plan is to bring/wear baby for most things (probably not the outdoor laser tag
6. For the record I did plan on just skipping the party but then my sister was really sad so hopefully I can make something work
7. I need to trick one of my friends into helping DH move a giant desk out of the future baby room
8. It's cold and snowy here now and I love it!
9. My boobs got even bigger and they were sort of purple this morning... Not cute. I have gone from just being a B cup to likely DD now and it's really strange for me
10. My friends are starting a new sand Vball season and moving up to a more competitive division. I miss playing
2. I wish my hair was long right now.. I think
3. DH have yet to purches anything for baby. We are such procrastinators.
4. My sister announced at christmas she is prego with her 3rd.
5.
5. My manager told me yesterday zhe is also expecting.
6. I am about to throw everything away at my house. There is just so much crap and I do not have a single closest In my house. Therefore I can't hide anything.
7. I need to back off on sweets but its a struggle.
8. I wish I was on a beach somewhere. 14 degrees f. Too cold for me.
9. I didn't catch my DHs cold!
10. I can't believe its january!
2. I have redirected my mommy guilt to over analyzing a situation at work and am driving myself (and at least 2 other coworkers) crazy! I even dug into a student's file to find the past 3 years' report cards to support a hunch I had about his attendance record and actually discovered a really intriguing pattern. I feel like frickin Sherlock Holmes over here!
3. I made no friends with the teachers when I had to announce indoor recess today. It is 9 degrees Fahrenheit with a windchill of -10 people, let's not freeze the children!
4. I finally activated my new Fitbit and am loving it! I hope I stay on track with logging my water/food intake etc.
5. Last night I got ridiculously excited about setting up Baby Luna's room, to the point that I drew a blueprint and mapped it all out...where the crib would go, what curtains to put up, even a saying to stencil on the wall. I don't remember doing this with my son (of course, I was on bedrest and unable to fully "nest") but it is nice to feel this surge of excitement vs. crushing exhaustion and anxiety.
6. I designed a super cool wall hanging for the kids' hallway and will post pictures once MH opens his birthday present (a "real" Darth Vader lightsaber) and I open my early birthday present from Baby Luna (an ash wood 11 and a half inch wand with "unicorn hair" core). I made a shadow box that will hold both items with a poster that says "I am a JEDI like my father before me" on the top and then "HOGWARTS will send me a letter, just like my mother" on bottom. These poor kids don't stand a chance!
7. I am back on my coffee a day habit and I so wish I could quit it. I was doing so well over winter break, but at work I feel like I can't make it without a little caffeine pick me up. It is really affecting my water intake, though, because as long as I have coffee, I don't drink water.
8. I have started really talking about the pregnancy at work and it is so great to hear all the positivity. I was concerned for some reason, but it is nice to know that it is mostly supportive.
9. We STILL haven't sent out holiday cards! I was using the excuse that we wanted to wait and reveal if we are having a boy or girl, but since we found out Christmas morning, I don't really have any excuse anymore...
10. I have no idea what to make for dinner tonight. Last night was left over night from the weekend, but I am not sure what I can throw together after work. Might be a "silly supper" night (cereal, scrambled eggs...basically breakfast for dinner. It is my son's favorite!)
2. It's a sad day today....I can no longer button my pre-pregnancy jeans. I have one more pair that might still work, but I think I'm going shopping for jeans & more leggings today.
3. I'm still trying to hide my pregnancy from my clients...now that my jeans don't fit normally and my normal clothes are limited I'm wonderjng how much longer I'll be able to conceal. Hopefully I can get through January. I didn't expect to outgrow my jeans by 19 weeks, but my bump has definitely popped since Christmas.
4. I had to give myself an adult time out last night because literally everyone was annoying me. So I went to Target and spent almost two hours there (and over $100).
5. Nesting is officially in full swing since I took down our Christmas tree and decorations. I have sorted through so much clothes and finally pulled out items that I'll never wear again - I even sorted through bras which I'm not sure I've ever done. So much stuff is getting donated. I pulled some cabinets out of the nursery and organized them last night in their new location. All I'm waiting for is to find out if we're having a boy or girl so I can work on the nursery!
6. Yesterday I was coming to the conclusion that I was just not going to have a baby shower since no one had offered to throw one yet and immediately after telling my husband that, I checked my phone to see a text message from my best friend saying she had recruited my MIL and together they were going to throw me a shower! I almost cried. They are the best and I am incredibly grateful.
7. I bought the rug for the nursery from Target last night. It is exactly what I was looking for in all the wrong places (aka Amazon)! Our nursery theme is basically just Target. Ha. Just kidding, it's navy blue, white & a gender related accent color with hints of white & accent color elephants.
8. I bought our diaper bag the other night for 50% off! My husband chose it a few months ago and he's been dying to play with it.
9. I am regularly feeling Lil Sprout move, although it's still pretty light and nothing noticable from the outside. I love it.
10. I have been craving nacho cheese like crazy...I've had it with meals about 4-5 times over the past week. I need a nacho cheese intervention. Although I am seriously glad the holidays are over so I can get back to normal eating habits without all the extra sweets/junk around.
2. I have been sick THREE times during this pregnancy, most recently between Christmas and New Years for the entire week. This pregnancy has been easier in terms of growing a human (so far), but tougher due to DH getting mono and me being sick so much. Ugh, germs!
3. Despite being sick, holiday break was fantastic. I love getting to spend so much time with DH and DS, especially knowing it won't be us 3 for much longer.
4. I actually took down holiday decor before starting work again this week. I'm shocked, I'm such a procrastinator.
5. DH has what we're calling a "soft offer" for the job he really wants! In the next two weeks he should get an official offer which will really determine whether he takes the leap. I'm so proud of him!
6. I'm with you all on this back to work thing being rough. My motivation has been low lately anyway but it's cold and that's making it even harder!
7. Others got me thinking with the last pregnancy thing. We don't know how many kids we will have, more of a take it one by one kind of family. It makes me a little sad to imagine looking back on this pregnancy as my last but not having known it at the time. I'm pretty sure I'll be the one encouraging DH to have a couple more, maybe 4 total, but we shall see how this whole 2 kids SAHM thing goes when we get to that chapter.
8. We finally get to meet our nephew this month! Our trip was cancelled in November due to the whole kino debacle so we are so eager to meet him when they come to visit us!
9. My nesting has started kicking in, manifested through purging, organizing, and finding storage solutions. Some furniture is arriving later this week to make our back door space more conducive to containing everything this currently gets thrown on the table and floor.
10. DS is official climbing and diving and rolling around. I thought it would stress me out more than it is. He's actually showing that he can figure his body out a bit rather than just flailing so I'm letting him explore and make mistakes. Or I'm lazy. Not sure.
@jessiedee13 I worked at a CPA firm until I got my degree and started working for the government. I HATED the tax season hours, I even had to go in two Sundays at the end of tax season. I was not a happy camper.
That's crazy your parents rush things like that, you'd think they'd enjoy the time with family!!
Me: 31

9/15/2015: BFP HCG - 400, 9/17/2015: HCG - 827, 9/21/2015 - HCG 3,327!2. Bought futurebaby's first clothes (an infant onesie off Etsy with a cartoon hedgehog on it, and then a 6-month-old onesie with a cartoon sloth on it). Neither one is the most practical design -- I suspect for daily wear I'm going to want more clothes with snaps and fewer that pull on over the head -- but I just wanted to pick up something little and cute to get used to the whole idea of dressing a baby, which still seems completely alien to me.
3. Relatedly, I still cannot conceive of myself as a "mom." Nope. That name belongs to somebody else.
4. I hate this super cold weather.
5. I suspect the super cold weather probably killed off at least half my roof garden again. This does not improve my opinion regarding said super cold weather.
6. I wore my old Uggs to work yesterday, having forgotten that both of the heels were completely worn through on the inside (from the outside they look fine, but there were big bald spots in the padding on the inside, so my heels were chafing against hard plastic shell). After walking 4 miles in those worn-out Uggs, I now have giant blisters on both feet. This is also not improving my opinion regarding the sudden cold snap.
7. At least my husband got me new boots for Christmas.
8. It was super satisfying to throw those old boots in the garbage as soon as I got home. DIE, GARBAGE BOOTS. DIE. DIE IN THE GARBAGE WHERE YOU BELONG.
9. I probably need to buy some maternity pants.
10. But buying maternity pants means walking four blocks in 10-degree weather so yeah no. It can wait another week.
I wish I could be surprised the way my parents act. They're those if it doesn't benefit me I don't care kind of people. So free food? I'm there. A party? What an inconvenience. Ugh. I'm just used to it.
2. It's raining here and everyone acts all crazy. No one knows how to drive. Drives me nuts.
3. But with the rain, that means snow in the mountains and we might go for the day on Sunday. My daughter has been wanting to go to the snow. We just haven't had much for the past few years.
4. DD starts basketball practice this week and it's at 4pm. I'm off work at 4:30pm. Makes it hard for working parents. But luckily, she can go with her best friend and at least she's done at 5. Doesn't take our whole evening.
5. Can't believe it's 2016 and I'm going to have a baby this year. Doesn't seem real. Time is flying.
6. We're going to get a 3d ultrasound done in a few weeks and take our moms so we can see pictures of the baby.
7. Everyone around us is announcing their pregnancies. My brother and his gf were talking about having a baby. They're immature and not ready financially. I tried telling them you can't have a baby just because your friends are.
8. That's all I got today. Need to get back to work!
2. Riley was pouting this morning because I scolded her. She dug a paper towel out of the garbage and was shredding/eating it. Sulked for an hour till I told her I forgive her.
3. I was able to see my sister from Missouri twice over the holiday weekend. They announced their trip too late for me to schedule time off, but the gods were smiling on me and I was put oncall twice over the New Year weekend.
4. You all are inspiring me to begin nesting.
5. After my workout I need to take my dogs for a car ride. That'll help with their energy hopefully. Especially since play and mouth wrestling is getting a bit rougher.
6. Husband helped me clean the house over the weekend and I am so grateful. He helps only once every couple of months, but it saves me from a whole extra day of chores.
7. No stretch marks yet, but linea negra all the way down the abdomen. Plus since first getting pregnant, the little blonde belly fuzz surrounding my belly button turned black. I'm tempted to wax it, but husband doesn't mind so I'd be doing it for my own vanity. Passing on that for now.
8. Kicking husbands but into gear with nursery and naming ideas. He's a major procrastinator.
9. Had too much salt yesterday and I'm feeling the bloat.
10. With all the kicking and flipping my baby is doing, I'm getting so excited about birth and bringing my baby into the world.
2. I finally found a cute 1950's style dress to wear.
3. My family is coming into town for the wedding and I'm so excited! I've been missing them a lot lately.
4. The nursery is mostly painted (just have the accent wall to do)!
5. Even with the major window hiccup and finding out we needed to reenforce the floor, bathroom renovation is at the halfway point.
6. I restarted my prenatal workout dvd after almost a month break. I got my butt kicked.
7. We might be getting baby's dresser/changing table today. I've been super picky and we don't have a lot of extra to spend so finally finding something feels like a mini miracle.
8. I really can't wait to see everyone's nurserys/baby corners.
9. I'm thinking early bed time tonight.
10. Ummm.... it's cold here. There I got ten!
2. Got the oil changed at lunch - feeling productive.
3. Told the office today I was pregnant. Glad because now I can start chatting with the woman who just returned from maternity leave with all my questions.
4. Frustrated because I can't find a daycare that does part time for infant. I really do not want to pay for my child to be there full time if they will not be.
5. As soon as I announced, was asked by another woman to help throw a male coworker his baby shower. Blah. I don't want to plan anything else. But I will.
6. I think something is wrong with my phone - died super fast, and now it won't charge/turn on. This came out of the blue - any suggestions? (iphone 6)
7. My mom decided not to go on a girl's trip to Vegas because her boss was going to make her choose between that or taking time off when I have the baby. I feel awful.
8. I've had coffee twice this week for the first time in months. Not starting off on a good foot.
9. I still have holiday cards I haven't sent out. But they say "Happiest Holiday" so I'm just going to tell everyone they are Valentine's Day cards
10. Have already started watching the clock for the end of day... this is not good!
2) Hubby is getting the crib tomorrow from his co worker- which means next up is buying the mattress because I'm not using a 2nd hand one.
3) Getting a bunch of stuff from another friend today to go through. Seriously, these friends with growing babies are awesome and lifesavers.
4) Other than the stuff for travel (travel system/car seats) we have the really expensive stuff out of the way (I define really expensive as $200 plus)
5) Finished the baby mobile this weekend. Woot woot.
6) I got a sewing machine for Christmas from my FIL, I've been resisting the urge to buy fabric until I have a very clear plan for it. Now I've got plans and no money for fabric because of buying said dresser. *sigh*
7) Finally gave in and bought maternity pants. Why did I wait so long? I need to go back and get more dress pants since I only got one pair
8) It finally feels like winter here, which is awesome. But I've discovered the moment I get cold my boobs hurt, which is less awesome.
9) It's cold, so snow please! I want snow days!
10) I finally finished a book that was 18 days overdue. Boom. Now I have to start & read one that is a day overdue. Hopefully this one goes faster.
I'm usually a huge planner so it's been hard not knowing what to expect with my first baby and having such a big event to work around and attend ask related activities. My plan is to wing it. It's really weirding me out how ok I am with not knowing all the details.
@valerie4786 nacho cheese??? The WI part of me is crying a little bit.
