Graham William Davis Born 12/29/2015 @ 0507 am 8lbs 20.5in long
Arrived at the hospital at 9:42 pm 12/28/2015, doctor broke my water, started pitocin at 1:00 am, got my amazing epidural shortly after due to the increasing the pitocin at a fast pace, was ready to go at 4:00 am! Started pushing at 4:30 and by 5:07 am our little guy had arrived!! So in love!!!!!
We arrived at the hospital around 10:00am and I was 4cm.
Most of the laboring process happend in the water, as I had planned to have a water birth. 30 minutes before she arrived I just felt the need to get out of the tub and do it on the bed. She is a perfectly healthy baby girl and I am happy to have had a successful unmedicated birthing experience. Thank you for the support, ladies!
Eva Josephine arrived 12/28 at 2:11am, (at 38 weeks). 5lbs, 10oz, 19.5in, she's so tiny and perfect in every way! We left the hospital today and are glad to be home!
Mr Wyatt Dean 8# 11.6oz born at 12/31 at 1:04a --- 39w1d No time for drugs ... All natural. Hit labor and delivery at 9+cm and was born within 14 min! Healthy, happy!
Oliver Finn, born 12/28 at 11:07pm 21 inches and 8lbs 10oz. My big guy broke his collarbone on the way out, but is expected to make a full and speedy recovery
Gracelyn Harper. Born at 39weeks, 4 days on 12.30.15. 7lb 2 oz, 18.5" long. Easy induction, pushed 1/2 a push and she was out. Epidural for the win !!! Thank goodness for the induction because she had cord wrapped around neck and then knotted twice. Could have been bad.
Kinly Janel was born on 12/28 (37w + 4d) via repeat c section. She weighed 6 lbs. 1 oz and is 19 inches long. Very smooth c section and recovery is going well. After birth she has a little trouble keeping up her temp but she was able to regulate it very quickly! Loving being w family of four!
Penelope Anne was born at 10:58 am on 12/30 via Caesarian Section. Weight was 6 lbs 6.1 ounces. Came out nice and loud. We are both doing great. She is totally worth being in a wheelchair for 5-6 months.
Angelina Mae born on Christmas Day by C Section because she decided to flip from being head down to head up and wanted to come out and see the world without flipping back. She just missed her Grampa Chris who lost his battle with cancer just a few hours before she got here but we're working through it and going strong. 7lbs and 5.8 ounces.
Vincent Louis born 1/1/16 @ 11:26am, 8lbs 13oz and 21.8" - went into labor yesterday, watched fireworks at midnight out of the hospital room window between contractions, labor took about 15 hours, pushed for 35 minutes (much better than my first), got a second degree tear at my old episiotomy site but it was all worth it. He's adorable and we're all very much in love. He is very mild tempered and cuddly.
George Patrick Due: 1-7-16 DOB: 1-2-16 (39w, 2d) 7lb 3oz. 20.75in
He came very fast! The only thing holding him in when we got to the hospital as the bag of water. Got to the hospital at 10:15 am and he was born at 10:36 am. Doctor didn't even make it in time to deliver! Was able to do it med. free!! We are both doing great!
Olive Magnolia January 1, 2016 at 39w5d. 7.14 lbs and 21 inches long.
Olive was born peacefully at home last night following a fast, yet oddly relaxed water birth. Her birth was so unlike my others, it hardly seems real.
I had my membranes swept on New Year's Eve at 5cm. Yesterday evening, labour began with very sporadic and short contractions. I didn't believe I was in actual labour until my midwife arrived and we found I was 8cm. Baby was born roughly 45 minutes later, surrounded by love and by the light of our fireplace. She has the most incredible dimples and mass of black hair.
The entire thing feels like a dream to me. Like I'm going to wake up and find it was just more prodromal labour. The hardest part of the entire process has been coping with the insane after pains. Being baby number three, I was expecting them to be intense, but I still under estimated them.
I went to labor and delivery an hour after the ball dropped on NYE as I just didn't feel right. I am extremely grateful I did, as once there, I was diagnosed with HELPP Syndrome. I had an emergency C section. Both babies were healthy other than the effects of the general anesthesia and another med I was on. However, my uterus was in such overextended, poor shape that they struggled to contain the bleeding and I needed over 12 units of blood transfused. I have been in the ICU for two days and just saw our sweet babies for the first time this afternoon. They are beautiful and I cannot wait until this entire experience is behind us and our family is all home together. The moral of the story for me is to always trust your body and also that my husband and family are amazing.
Here are Charles John (5 lbs 12 oz) and Emma Rose (6 lbs 2 oz)
Anthony was born 1/2/16 at 8 lb 2 oz 38w4d... Water broke 1/1/16 around 2:45, wasn't contracting so I was given pitocin and was in labor for 15 hours, pushed for two... It was exhausting, hard, and long.. But so worth it!!
Dexter Michael was born 1-2-16 at 2:29 pm weighing 6lbs 12 ounces, 20.5 inches. Was induced with pitocin, got epidural after that, start to finish it was 5.5 hours and pushed for 15 minutes.
Aurora Towbin born at 38w 5d on 1/1/16 at 11:08pm. She was 6lbs 3oz. I was miserable on NYE-- congested, uncomfortable, generally not feeling great but couldn't sleep and restless. I awoke to my water breaking at 6:20am and had a terrible leg cramp when I tried to get up! After checking in, we were able to get brunch at a favorite spot in the city, then came back to start Pitocin to speed things up. Had an epidural at 4cm and was able to visit with my mom and sister until 9cm. Everything went very smoothly and I'm so incredibly grateful for my darling girl
Sienna Ryan born via c section January 4th 2016 at 38 weeks 6 days. Born at 8:10 am weighing in at 8 lbs 3 oz 20 and a half inches long. We were able to do skin to skin right in the or which was wonderful. She is amazing and beautiful and we are so in love!
My last baby bump and our baby girl Piper! I had been having inconsistent, painless contractions since being stripped on the Tuesday before when I was at 2cm. Hubby was set on the fact that something was up. Saturday evening we took our daughter to hang out at Wal-Mart (aka, momma needs to walk!) and lose some energy. We went to town with the thoughts of going to be checked just in case & to make him feel better. I was totally against it because I knew I was not in labor. I started having more pelvic pain than usual and told him so we went on over to OB. It was about 630p when she checked me and I was 4cm 70-80%. I knew I was going back home then. The second shift nurse came in and told me to go walk and see if it helped. She checked me again at 10p and I was the exact same! I was so mad because at this point I was so done being pregnant and miserable! I went to the bathroom and came back and was being hooked back up to the monitor. We were laughing and talking. At 1045p, while she was hooking me back up, we heard a huge pop and I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. We all looked at each other and just thought the baby kicked. Wasn't two seconds later and I was soaked! My water broke, I got hit with a HARD contraction and it was game time. I set there for probably five minutes and decided that I would go ahead and get the epidural. She went and called the on call anesthesiologist & the midwife and by the time she came back I was having the "can't breath" contractions at a minute apart. She checked me and I was dilated to 6cm. Then 8cm. Then I needed to push! At 12:02am, Piper was delivered with no epidural or drugs of any kind because she beat the anesthesiologist. She was also delivered by the ER doctor because she also beat the midwife on call. All in all, holy crap pain, and I wouldn't trade it! It was entirely too fast to hate anything about it and I already feel great! DD1 was much slower and recovery was much longer.
So happy to announce my little girl Ava Caroline born at 39 w 1d on January 4 at 409 pm , momma and baby are great She's soo sweet , we are in love ! I will miss all of you ladies , congratulations to all of you!
Briley Joyce. 5 pounds, 4 ounces. 18 inches long. Born 1/1/16 at 11:01 PM via emergency c-section.
I went in for my induction, which was scheduled at 37 weeks due to pre-eclampsia. Got to the hospital at 6:30 AM and was dialated 1/2 a centimeter. First dose of cervidal was inserted at 9. After 4 hours, I was dialated to 1 and slightly thinned out. Another dose was inserted at 1. At 5, there was no progress and we decided to insert a foley bulb. The foley bulb fell out around 9:30 and I was dialated to 3. I was having bad back labor and the nurses were calling the doctor to see what was going to happen next. At about 10:30 her heartbeat dropped to 70 several times and all I remember was them beginning to prep me for an emergency c-section and wheeling me to the OR where they gave me general anesthesia. She was born by 11:01.
She's so perfect! She's in the NICU because she hasn't quite gotten the sucking motion down yet and has to feed via feeding tube occasionally. Once she can take all her feedings regularly and is gaining weight, she can come home!
I'm a milk making machine and although she won't latch, she loves her mamas liquid gold!
Our sweet baby girl decided to come early and on her own terms. I had the bloody show on January 1 and it continued all day. Doctor assured me that even though it was "bleeding" it was completely normal and not a good indicator of when labor would be coming. I woke up in the middle of the night Jan. 2, went to the bathroom like always. When I got back in bed, my water broke with a huge gush. Contractions started 30 minutes later and progressed quickly. We left for the hospital about 3 hours after my water broke and I was already 5cm. Unfortunately, she decided that she didn't want to come out head first and was Frank Breech. They immediately started prepping me for a c-section and she was born two hours later!
Aiden Rey born on 1/5/16 at 37w+5d! Bloody show and mucus plug came out on Monday at 7:30am and contractions began immediately. After 15 hours of non stop contractions at 5 min apart and getting 7cm dilated, my body gave out (shivers and convulsions...not fun), so I decided to get an epidural. The epidural unfortunately significantly slowed things down, so my doc got me on pitocin and broke my water. 11 hours later, our perfect little boy was born! He's 6 pounds and 12 ounces and 19.75 inches long. We are in love
Olivia Nicole was born just shy of 12 hours ago on Tuesday January 5th 2016, at 5:30pm. She weighed in at 6lbs 13oz and about 21" long. She is literally perfect.
She was born by c-section at 37+6. So far we are all doing well!
Aria Rose Born 5th January, weighing 8.3 pounds Via C-section due to breech presentation.
When I first saw her I was so overwhelmed, by the birthing experience it took me a while to even comprehend her. Then within a couple hours I fell madly in love. I have not been able to sleep or put her down. Being a mother doesn't feel how I anticipated it would. It's so much better.
Our baby boy is here! Jett William born 1/5/16 at 0950 am. 7lbs 9oz and 21 in long at 38.6 weeks. I was in prodromal labor for a week, with slow dilation over the week. We went to run errands and walk around all day Monday, and at target I felt something come out and it was bloody show. My contractions started to pick up by the time we got home. My water broke at 1030 pm and that's when things got super intense! Labored at home until I was around 7cm then went to the hospital for an unmediated birth! It was perfect unfortunately our little guy was having some trouble with his blood sugars which bought him a ticket to the nicu for the next couple of days. But he is breastfeeding beautifully, and has done better overnight! We are so so in love with our new little one
Nolan James arrived on Tuesday 1/5 at 8:09pm, 8lbs 9oz and 18 3/4". I was induced with cirvidil on monday night and started pitocin 7am Tuesday. Everything progressed pretty quickly and after about an hour of paced pushing, he was here! He is doing well with breastfeeding. We are so in love!
I'm a little behind... I was induced at 37 weeks due to borderline IGUR. She had always been small but she dropped from the 20th percentile to the 3rd my OB made the decision that she had to come out. My labour and delivery was less than ideal and it ended in an emergency csection. Once they took her out of me they found she had a knot in the cord and it was wrapped around her neck 3 times. They called her the miracle baby. It's rare they see a live birth with those kind of cord issues. Anyhow...
