@AK118@AmadorRose We started and finished Making a Murderer within the same week. SO good. When it was over (and NOT before) I did so much googling on the case. Several things were omitted in the series, obviously, just makes you do a lot of thinking!
Making a Murderer was soooo good. We watched it in two days, we couldn't look away.

I have only made it to episode 2. It's hard for me to finish.
I noticed about a week ago the my belly button is getting VERY shallow...today, I noticed that the inside is very dark. I'm confused as to how the part of my body that gets the least amount of sun is the darkest in color. The body is so strange.
Mine is shallow now too. I had to finally take out my belly ring as it was getting irritated. I've had that thing in for 12 years so it was strange seeing my belly without it for the first time. I kinda like my belly without it
Also I now have stretchmsrks in the underside of my boobs. Even after my breast augment a few years ago this didn't happen and I jumped 2 sizes at the time ! I was a 34d pre pregnancy now I'm a 36DD... DH thinks it's awesome but I think my skin is maxed out at this point. Wtf boobs! I'm just hoping they don't migrate above my nipples so they won't show when I wear a bikini or a dress. So far no new stretch marks anywhere else.
My belly button has also started getting shallower and it's freaking me out SO HARD. I absolutely hate belly buttons, even my own. It needs to stay in there for my own sanity. Please stay in there, belly button.
Have you tried applying light, upward pressure? Makes mine pop right out. Still not as weird as the SUPER dark nipples though. Seriously, this kid better be some kind of rockstar
@jonesl12 I took mine out a few weeks ago too Since I got it done in 2006 I've only ever had it out in the last few months of pregnancy with DD. The good news is it went back in without any problems as soon as I came home from the hospital when she was born...hoping for the same this time.
@jonesl12@imrachellea I had to take mine out a few weeks ago, it was getting really red and irritated. The skin looks so weird being stretched out! It's like a ridge
I know I've posted this before but this is how I feel every time I catch myself in the mirror or hear myself gasping for breath after getting out of a chair
The snow hasn't melted yet. Oregon drivers are terrible at driving in the snow. I seriously hope it melts by the time I have to go pick up DH from work. The route we take home is full of killer curves.
I'm on the Making a Murderer train too. DH watched a few episodes without me that I still need to catch up on. The whole thing is just mind-boggling...even *if* both guys are guilty, there were so many miscarriages of justice that I cannot comprehend how they were both convicted.
Also @AmadorRoseI'm stealing that picture for my facebook.
We're headed to Cancun for our baby moon this friday, returning a week later. So far the weather forecast is predicting rain or thunderstorms for most days we are there!!! First world problem, I know, but I'm still allowed to whine about it!
Am I the only one who has a husband that is too scared to cut the umbilical cord when the time comes? He's somehow worried he'd hurt the baby. DH is the kind of person who'd feel very bad if he saw me cut my hand or something similar. I would love for him to cut it. Should I convince him of doing it or just let him be comfortable?

Oh that sucks! Hopefully the weather clears out. In any case I hope you guys have a great babymoon!
@elasticheart13 I'd say let him decide. Even if he thinks one thing now it may change in the moment. DH said he did NOT want to watch DD1 actually coming out with a full view, rather from an angle without having to see my lady bits being all distorted, but in the end he saw it all and was really glad he watched everything. How our husband behave in the moment may likely be different than how they think they will be. Also, my DH always wanted to cut the cord but in the end he couldn't because the cord wrapped around DDs neck twice and the doctor had to take over completely. He was bummed, but also most concerned for her safety so I know he's hoping he can this time.
A state trooper gave me a ticket for illegal usage of a phone so basically texting. When I explained to him I wasn't texting but was using my GPS to see if there was a quicker route home (even showed him the GPS app so he can see it) he goes show me your text messages. Show him the text messages with time stamps he tells me I still think you are lying talk to the judge.
@imrachellea yeah DH has also requested to stay on the side line and not see my lady parts while pushing out a baby which I told him is completely fine by me as long as he's comfortable. I am really looking forward to seeing my husbands reaction and how he'll behave.
@elasticheart13 DH refused/refuses to cut the cord. Blood makes him sick to his stomach. The only time he can handle it is if it is his own or if someone is bleeding and it is an emergency (that man is surprisingly awesome in emergencies).

My DH has absolutely no interest in cutting the cord! He will certainly get totally grossed out!
@imrachellea You are right as it is -20oC today (I'm in Ontario though, but right on the border with Quebec). I guess if it rains I'll be getting lots of spa treatments and hitting the gym.

Ugh! I had a guy pull me over for " not wearing a seatbelt" funny thing is that I WAS wearing a seatbelt but I have really long hair and it was probably covering it. He was accusing me of just putting it on and was a total dick.
Ugh. My BFF is either pregnant or going through her fourth chemical pregnancy. She got a super faint positive line but had some bloody mucus. I just want her to have a sticky baby already

Just had this conversation with my husband the othen night. He wants no part of cutting the cord. It actually shocked me how much he didn't want to lol. He sounds like your husband in the way that he would be worried to hurt me or the baby. Whatever makes him the most comfortable works for me
@thaisac1 Dang it I almost wrote Canada instead, too, because I wasn't 100% sure on the territory lol
You were close. Ottawa is in Ontario, but sits right at the border between Ontario and Quebec. I live 2 blocks from the Ottawa river, Quebec is on the other side of the river.
@kalanieileen DH's former coworker has been Facebook posting multiple times a day about her pregnancy for the past 6 weeks. She is 13-14 weeks pregnant. She also feels that having a perfectly healthy, low-risk pregnancy entitles her to not lift a GD finger and to whine all. The. Time. About everything. Just you wait until you can't breathe and you're rolling out of bed because @Knottie9983816 's photo is exactly correct. I would say something snarky but she watches our cats when we're out of town and I don't trust other people
@AmadorRose She's excited. It may die down a bit once she's farther along, but for now, she's just over the moon. I kind of envy that excitement, since it took me so long to be happy and excited about this pregnant. I try not to post a lot about my pregnancy on Facebook, just because it clogs up the newsfeed of people who are friends with me but who may not care about my womb at all. Last pregnancy I made a separate group that people had to ask to join. This made sure people who wanted to see pregnancy info could see it, but I wasn't annoying my general friends. Personally, Instagram is my place for pregnancy stuff. It's easier to connect with my MIL and SIL that way, since they don't have a Facebook accounts. I don't appreciate the people who think pregnancy means that they are all of a sudden the Queen of Shiva (did I actually get that phrase right?!) and don't have to do anything.
@fbanke42 I honestly just don't care about many people enough to give a shit that she's bloated but still fitting in her clothes, or her daily countdown until she "finds out the gender." Because that's what's important (insert serious eye roll). Part of this is because I think over sharing on social media is tacky and part (read: most) is because I feel like a whale and she's not only tiny but also making a big deal out of being bloated. Take a dump and enjoy it while it lasts. I'm also extra hormonal and pissy today. Whatever.
@AmadorRose A daily countdown? That's excessive. I think I posted the day before that I was excited to find out the sex, but that was mostly to see what people thought we were having (99% of people were team girl and are now sorely disappointed). I now end up only posting comparison shots, just because this pregnancy is so incredibly different from DS1. I've refrained from doing a lot of photos because I feel like my stomach is massive... I lost 35 lbs between pregnancies, so going from happy with my progress to 6 months pregnant was... Disappointing. I totally get the "beached whale" feeling. I'm friends with a FTM on Facebook and I keep telling myself not to eye roll her complaints, how often she talks about baby moving, etc. I didn't mean to sound like I was trying to dismiss your feelings. I've mostly been upset at myself for my lack of excitement and upset at my family because any time I do get excited, they tell me to "calm down" since this isn't my first baby.
@AmadorRose I had a FB friend doing almost the exact same thing - difference is, she is about a month or so ahead of me and announced super early (while mine was still a secret) and posted weekly pictures starting at 5 weeks pregnant (totally pushing belly out and bending). She also shared WAY too much info daily - I would complain and my husband would tell me to block her, but sometimes I was amused. She posted about her daily food intake or lack thereof and I think was just looking for sympathy. Because, you know, she's the first ever pregnant lady to vomit.
@AK118 - Too late! He found me within about 30 seconds because of the ice skating thread, and now he's anxiously awaiting the results of the poll I just posted, so there's no hiding from him now. He's so damn excited by the whole experience, too... He's anxiously refreshing every couple of minutes to get the vote tally and making me laugh so hard with his celebration every time someone else votes for him to go to his concert that I've very nearly peed myself a couple times.
As for your FB friend.... UGH. I'm typically not one of those people who thinks that pregnant women and parents (or cat lovers or political junkies or car aficionados or whatever) on Facebook should have to censor themselves from sharing the things that are relevant to their daily lives, but that's a little much, to put it mildly.
@AGK2015 I'm having a similar conundrum, even tho we had already said we'd only seriously consider still going to Coachella if Daft Punk was on the lineup. They are not. But I'm still torn. Can't I just be all flower child and birth my baby out on the grass next the light-up hula hoop dancer?
