I write down in detail each of my birth stories (right after I get home from the hospital) in a journal where I have also wrote about my pregnancy. Each of my girls (just had my 3rd) will get their own personal journal when they go on to have kids but I will share with them even sooner. With this last birth, I had photos taken of my labor and delivery and made a photo book of it. So amazing to have photos to go along with the story. It was also my first med free and fastest birth (under 2 hours). I replay each birth in my mind so often, each so amazing in different ways.
The birth itself went well and I do think about how it all went down but I think more about the fact we didn't get one picture of me in labor and only like one after labor .
I had told my husband not to be taking horrible videos and instead he took nothing .
Side note when we had our son he did a video of my contractions while talking like crocodile dundee
