Hi! New to The Bump! My name is Mariah I am 19 years old and happily married! I started the pill Jan. 2015 and went off the end of Sep. 2015 in hopes to start our family. My hubby and I have been married for almost 8 months now and have only been trying to conceive for 3 months. Anyone else TTC 22 and under?

    I'm turning 20 jan 6th! We will be trying to conceive very soon. We have been married for 6 months, but we have been best friends for longer. We want a little girl when we do get pregnant. <3

    i keep making these "tickers" and i can't figure them out. :/ they keep showing up as a link. lol. i know it has nothing to do with this post, i just love everyone's cute tickers and mine isn't showing up. :P

    Hello! I've been a lurking around here for about a year now, on and off. But, just created an account about a week ago. I'm shy about posting and becoming involved here, though I want to. I enjoy reading a lot of the posts, especially the TWW and WTO, it makes me feel less alone in this process. Also, seeing BFP gives me hope. You should really think about reading those and participating, if you're brave, unlike me ;). I've learned a lot from lurking in those threads. 

    Anyway, I am 24, I will turn 25 in February. DH is 25 and will turn 26 in January. We don't have that big of a age gap, so I thought I'd chime in. We've been married for 3 years now and have been together for over 7, friends for longer than that. We've been trying for almost a year now, it will be a year in February. Though, I've only 8 cycles in that year. Really though, looking back at my charts, our BD timing most other months wasn't the best. So, I'm trying my best to remain optimistic even though it's taking so long. 

    As for not having your period for such a long stretch of time, I definitely suggest going to your OB. I was on the BCP for 7-8 years, and I haven't been the most regular since coming off of it my self. I didn't have a my period for 123 days once this past year, total MF while TTC. After about 70 days I went to my OB. She examined me, asked me lots of questions regarding my cycles, and drew blood for some tests. I can't remember everything she tested for, but I know one was for my Thyroid. Anyway, she didn't seem that concerned, as I did have pretty regular cycles for the first about 4 months after the pill. Also, since then, I've starting having pretty regular cycles for the last few months. So, there's that.

    It's nice to know there are a bunch of old farts here like me.  I'm 32 and DH is 38.  I was wild in my 20s, though, so I had no business having kids any time earlier.
