@amos1417 I understand, when I had the miscarriage last October I took a few months off. Didn't start IVF treatments until June the next year. And then my first cycle of meds didn't work at all, and my cycle got canceled and I took time off again. The journey is so emotional...sometimes time off is needed to regroup and get your strength back.

Taking time off, for mental normalcy, is a great idea. It is so grueling to do his day in and day out, month after month. The minute you stop one injection, you're on to the next. And it's heart breaking. It's a good idea to feel more like you again before trying again. Please keep your hopes up. It's gonna happen. Just giving you a hellish ride
Ok ladies. I got tested yesterday (29th) and I got a BFP. The nurse said it was 345. I'm still numb and I didn't wanna post it so soon because I was in disbelief and I was nervous that the nurse would call again and say they made a mistake. Going back tomorrow for the second lab.

Congrats @plumeria05!! That is soooo exciting!! H&H 9 months!! Let us know today's beta! I see your diagnosis is egg quality and I think that is our challenge too. What did you do different to get your BFP?
Thanks so much ladies. I ordered a bunch of vitamins and supplements, going to meet with the RE Monday and formulate a plan to try again in a few months. I am really looking forward to a break and clearing my mind. I just don't even feel like myself. I'll keep checking in, I am truly happy for those of you with your BFP and for those still waiting, it will happen for us!

@amos1417 - after failed IUIs and IVFS, the dr suggested egg donor. It was devastating and depressing so we took a long time off to accept it, decompress and save. I went home to the islands (in the South Pacific) in the summer and hung out with my mom, ate a lot of homemade food, hit the beach and hung out with family. I felt better when coming back and was ready to start the process of looking for donors. I highly recommend taking time off because it's such a hard journey. All the best for your next cycle.

I think that is what made me emotional this morning. I was late to work because when I got up this morning I couldn't stop crying... it was like all of a sudden it just hit me. I've had 2 pregnancies and never heard a heartbeat during the 6 week ultrasound... got bad news both times. And then yesterday I hear 2 heartbeats... I was overwhelmed completely. DH turned pale and sunk down in his chair... it was like we had walked into the twilight zone. Now... all we need is good news at every ultrasound after this.

Oh, my hubby and I decided that we will still TTC the natural way this month. I think we finally got my dose of levothyroxine correct, I started metformin again although I am only borderline PCOS, I changed over to a gluten free diet (I feel amazing already!), I am taking CoQ10 and a bunch of other supplements. Hopefully these changes make a difference!
Awww, that is so awesome! Not that you're emotional, but that you got to hear the heartbeats and that everything is moving along. I am so happy for you both! And yes, I am probably overly excited! ;-)

@halips WOW... 10 more days until those stims!! No matter how many times you stim it always makes you nervous. I have a tilted uterus so my RE did longer ultrasounds to make sure she really understand the anatomy of my uterus so she could navigate through it better to get to the ovaries. And then she did 2 mock transfers to again be prepared to navigate through it to transfer the eggs. I hope he really gained some understanding from your first retrieval to be m ore successful this time.
DH is doing well, which I'm super happy about, I'm doing...lol. it's tough some days because of the miscarriages everything freaks me out and I had a small hemorrhage and that made me really scared but my RE is really amazing and she keeps me calm and the babies are still good. I'm just hoping that when we go in next week for my 9 week u/s that everything is still good. This process never gets ANY less stressful even after the BFP.

I read the book It Starts With The Egg, it was really good! I started the gluten free diet, added a bunch of supplements and vitamins, avoided a few that she said aren't really helpful. She also said in the book that it can take 3-4 months for these to work in the body so I am planning a cycle in April. Would be thrilled if we managed to get a BFP naturally before then! I am tracking ovulation with tests, using preseed, etc.
@ShayLatrice I know what you mean. After 2 chemicals I am so worried I will never be able to carry to term. My RE is extremely optimistic which keeps me positive and plugging along. You're almost through the first tri, you're doing great!
It is scary... and honestly this last 8 weeks has been more scary and stressful than when I first got my meds and starting injections and even when I did my ER. It's like you really don't know what is going on inside and you are just hoping for the best. People keep asking me if I'm excited and I'm like no... I'm not. I can't even really enjoy being pregnant because it is such a scary process. I'm cautiously happy...but I'm not letting myself think this is over. I still got at least 30 weeks to make it through.
I'm glad you have found some really useful information to help you prepare for your next cycle. I really hope you get your BFP before April naturally... that would be such a wonderful way to Spring into Spring. If not...my everything is crossed that all of you get BFPS and have NO stress and no FEAR when you do.

Oh man, I never thought about what it would be like to get past the first 4 weeks. I wish this wasn't the case for you, I wish that you could totally enjoy the pregnancy. I have been thinking about how strong those little beans must be to divide on their own! I will keep you in my prayers.
I should be ovulating soon and I just can't stop thinking about it! I really wish we could all just get pregnant and sooner than later!! Fingers crossed, prayers said and whatever else to wish us good luck!
I had my first ultrasound last Monday and we saw our baby's heartbeat. I was so happy. I am still scared but I feel better about this pregnancy now, I just hope it keeps going well.
@Shaylatrice I know what you mean, I am not really exited either and although we did share the news with close people I don't want everyone to know just yet. I don't even know if will be ever be able to just enjoy this with no worry at all.

Thanks for asking @ShayLatrice! I have stims starting on the 22nd. Going tomorrow for a endo scratch, on bcp now. Just really nervous and hopeful. Perfect world, I'd like to have a whole lot more eggs retrieved this time (instead of RE not being able to reach them!) and not overstim again, so I can do a fresh and then still have some left to freeze, just in case. Here's hoping... How are your babies doing? And you and DH?

DH is doing well, which I'm super happy about, I'm doing...lol. it's tough some days because of the miscarriages everything freaks me out and I had a small hemorrhage and that made me really scared but my RE is really amazing and she keeps me calm and the babies are still good. I'm just hoping that when we go in next week for my 9 week u/s that everything is still good. This process never gets ANY less stressful even after the BFP.

I read the book It Starts With The Egg, it was really good! I started the gluten free diet, added a bunch of supplements and vitamins, avoided a few that she said aren't really helpful. She also said in the book that it can take 3-4 months for these to work in the body so I am planning a cycle in April. Would be thrilled if we managed to get a BFP naturally before then! I am tracking ovulation with tests, using preseed, etc.
@ShayLatrice I know what you mean. After 2 chemicals I am so worried I will never be able to carry to term. My RE is extremely optimistic which keeps me positive and plugging along. You're almost through the first tri, you're doing great!
I'm glad you have found some really useful information to help you prepare for your next cycle. I really hope you get your BFP before April naturally... that would be such a wonderful way to Spring into Spring. If not...my everything is crossed that all of you get BFPS and have NO stress and no FEAR when you do.

Oh man, I never thought about what it would be like to get past the first 4 weeks. I wish this wasn't the case for you, I wish that you could totally enjoy the pregnancy. I have been thinking about how strong those little beans must be to divide on their own! I will keep you in my prayers.
I should be ovulating soon and I just can't stop thinking about it! I really wish we could all just get pregnant and sooner than later!! Fingers crossed, prayers said and whatever else to wish us good luck!
I am still scared but I feel better about this pregnancy now, I just hope it keeps going well.
