Would anyone be interested in posting their beta results once they receive them? I know several ladies are waiting on their beta results and I'd like to see how other people are doing!

My first beta at 14dpo (12/28) was 49. Repeat beta is 12/30. I'm praying it doubles because the nurse was really negative about the number and said it might be a chemical pregnancy. I'm praying she's wrong!

Mine was 17.7 at 3wk 5 dpo yesterday. I did another home test today which was WAY darker line then yesterday so hoping it's a good sign!

Also my progesterone was only 11.9 so starting pro. Supplement as well

At 13dpo my HCG was 187 and progesterone was 26. Feels great to receive amazing numbers after dealing with loss.

Thanks for starting this thread! I just got my numbers and at 12dpo I have 15.8 progesterone and 137 hcg. Going back in tmrw for round 2.

My first on 12 dpiui was 122
Second on 14 dpiui was 422
Third on 16 dpiui was 1016
I'm going in for my final one tomorrow and should have hit over the 1500 mark so I can schedule my ultrasound to see how many we have!!

Edited to add my protesterone was 22,19,31 but I'm also on progesterone suppositories

@foxxytwt how many follicles did you have? I had 2 at 18-19mm and triggered about 24 hours later. I also had a 13mm but I doubt that would have caught up and been mature. I'm thinking we have just one based on my numbers. But it sounds like you could possibly have two!

Was trending betas from a miscarriage last month.... and suprise! Hcg 324 up from 5 the last draw, guessing right at 4 weeks. Still a little shocked as we werent trying again. Will check hcg and progesterone again next week...

At approx 17 dpo, hcg is at 244. Tomorrow is the next round. Fingers crossed for it to double. This is my first pregnancy, and I'm really nervous and trying to learn as much as possible.

Hi Ladies! Would you mind sharing how long you waited for your results? I had blood drawn yesterday at 8am. When I asked how long it would take to get results, the tech said 2-5 days!! That seems a bit long...definitely longer than I remember with DD. Meanwhile I have not scheduled the dating ultrasound which my OB said should take place between 6&7 weeks for optimal accuracy. I'm 4w5d today. I assumed I would schedule that when they call with my results but now I'm starting to wonder, since I may not even get my results until next week! Am I justified in following up (at the very least just to schedule the next appt) or am I just being impatient?

I had bloodwork done the first day I got a positive test with an hcg level of 94. then this Monday, five days later, it was in the 500's. I'm feeling more confident now. It did take 2 days to get the results! ( they send it in to quest - they take a day or 2 usually) I know everyone is different, but as long as it's increasing, that's a good sign!

@JennM205 my RE's office has their own lab so I get the results the same day. I would be calling at the 2 day mark for my results if I were you! It can't hurt to call. The worst they can say is to wait and call back later.

I had bloodwork done yesterday and got results today. My OB is inside the hospital though, so thats why its so fast. Im going back in the am and they said I should get those results same day. If I had to wait 2-5 days i would go nuts! But I am also extremely impatient

My mom works in a dr office and she told me its ok to call for results, the nurses are used to it bc they do it all day long.

I always get mine the same day, but that's because my MW's office is affiliated with the hospital.

Thank you for all of the responses regarding turnaround time! Luckily, the nurse called this morning without me having to follow up (two days after blood draw). HCG was 911 and Progesterone was 14.16. They're having me go in again today to make sure levels are rising appropriately. The nurse said I should have those results by tomorrow. I'm all of a sudden really anxious - I didn't have to go in for multiple draws with DD so this is different...though at first glance, my numbers don't seem low or anything (test was at 17 or 18 dpo). So we'll see!

@Sarafuss Good luck with your second draw today, I'll be thinking of you and hoping for doubled numbers!!

@Sarafuss I had one at 21 that the re considered mature and one at 18 which they didn't but ds was an 18 at my ob when they did my iui and considered that mature. Everything I reads says betas can't predict but I felt like I had implantation cramps twice a few hours away on different sides!

@JennM205 it looks like we had our first beta done about the same time, I was 4w3d and my Prog was 15.8 which my OB said was completely normal but did more blood work today just to have other numbers to compare to. And 911 hcg is really good! Hope that puts you a little more at ease

I am so jealous of you ladies with Betas! My first one isn't until the 7th

So all I have is positive pregnancy tests for a week straight to go by but I guess that isn't so bad after all

@Sarafuss my previous ob did and I do, since my son was an 18! Plus it worked for you! My re this time is a little crazy but it worked so I can't complain too much

New Beta numbers in! HCG is 221, up from 137 on Monday. Its not double so I have to go in once more to check again. But of course its a holiday weekend so I have to wait till Monday, womp womp... Are numbers supposed to double every 48 hours? Or 24?

48-72 hours is normal, my OB goes by 48.

@izzetoot 48-72 hours is normal. So you aren't too far off from 48 hours (assuming the blood draws were around the same time on those days). Go to betabase.com and enter in your beta numbers and the time of your blood draws to get your doubling rate.

Ok, thanks! There was actually quite a diff in the time of day b/t the two Betas. First at 4pm second at 10am (so 42 hrs, not 48) It looks like I may have hit double numbers if my beta was taken later in the day today! Thats a relief! I wish they would tell you that when they say "the doc wants the numbers to be a little stronger, so lets do one more"

Doubling rate was 60.88 btw... not quite sure what the means

@Sarafuss are you getting numbers back today?

My first beta on 12/28, drawn at 8:15 AM was 862 and today's was 1887, drawn at 9:15 AM.

Looks like my little bean (or beans; we did IVF with 2 embryos transferred, so there could be more than one in there) is sticking! I was a nervous wreck until they called with my results today, considering that my last BFP resulted in a CP on my second beta (my initial number the first time around was about 120 and then it dropped to something like 50 around 3 days later).

They just called. It was 80 today. I'm glad it increased but it doesn't make me feel confident. Doubling rate of 68 hours. I go back on Monday.

My 1st beta was about 670 at 16 dpo. Progesterone was 34. Getting repeat labs done tomorrow but will probably have to wait til Monday for results.
My Dr. always has my results by next business day, and if I get my bloodwork super early (like 6:30 am), they sometimes have them same day.

Also... I ovulated on 12/17 so today I am 13dpo and 4w5d. If you are 4w 2d should you be more like 10dpo? I know you are IVF and I don't know as much about your cycle as you, obviously, but that might explain the lower number?

Not impatient at all! As long as my blood is drawn by 11 am I get same day results from the lab that they use.

13dpo - HCG 27 Progesterone 22
16dpo - HCG 118 Progesterone 45

Beta more then doubled! Today HCG 68.8 up from 17.7 2 days ago! Still not as high as I want but I'll take the doubling!!

@izzetoot we did TI (not IVF or IUI) but I ovulated on 12/14 so I am 16dpo today. I'm confused as to how you are 4w5d. I guess if you are going by LMP? But if you are going by ovulation then you would be 3w6d today (I think).

ETA: and I'm hoping the lower number is explained by a late implanter or something and not an embryo with a chromosomal abnormality (given my history).

Oh ok, yeah I went by LMP not ovulation, that explains it. But dang, that makes me even earlier than I though

Sarafuss Thank you! I'm really hoping there's two. We'd be thrilled with one, but two would be the icing on the cake after so much disappointment. My first u/s is scheduled for January 6th.

Hello ladies, just had a quick question about betas....

Does everyone get them drawn these days routinely? When I got my very first bfp I made an apt with my family doctor. She did nothing to confirm the pregnancy, just set up an OB referral for 3months and filled out all the bloodwork forms for that time as well. No betas or even urine. Unfortunately I ended up having a cp at that time. I think some bloodwork this time around would make me feel a lot better.

I can't speak for other ladies but I called my doctor to request a check on my progesterone due to an early loss last time. You can probably request a draw to see your numbers. It seems like other ladies are asked to test in case they did IVF or other routines that require closer monitoring. If I hadn't asked for the draw the OB wasn't going to see me until 8 weeks!

@jellybiehn When I called my OB to sched an appt and they said 9/11 but when I told her I was high risk they asked me to come in right away for beta. I think if you called and said you experienced a cp they would see you sooner.
