I had my second ultrasound this morning. Last week we saw the yolk sac, but not much else. This morning we saw the baby and the heartbeat (120). Measuring at 6w1day (previously thought we were 8 weeks based on last cycle but also knew that I likely ovulated late). I was so relieved to see the heartbeat this morning!
Our little smudge at 7w2d according to lmp. Measured 7w1d. Saw the heart beating and I am so relieved! I wasn't expecting an ultrasound today but my doctor offered to do one to "ease my mind" I guess I seemed anxious haha. So happy that I saw our LO before sharing the news this holiday!
Had my appointment yesterday and the doc ordered an u/s. Thought I was 7+5, but turns out I'm 8+1. New EDD is 7/31 instead of 8/3.
The doctor did mention a small subchronic hematoma. Has anyone else had this? He doesn't seem worried. Just said that they typically resolve themselves and only to call if I start bleeding.
Saw a baby and heartbeat! We had initially been expecting 2 but we lost one baby last week. I'm thankful for one healthy thriving baby! 6 weeks 5 days here due August 10!
Had our first ultrasound last night. 7w+1. Heard the heartbeat and it was at 171 bpm. Seeing the little heart beating makes me feel a lot better about dealing with the constant nausea and morning sickness.
So I was measured at 6w1 day at the sono but they didn't see a heart beat just yet. Should I be concerned or should I sit tight a little longer? This was just a walk in sonogram place. I actually go to the dr on 1/6
Im so jealous of all these precious US. Our first one was originally scheduled for 1/7 but I got it moved to 12/30 due to insurance purposes. And it seems like time is dragging. I'll be 8 weeks and 3 days then. I'm so excited for my SO, it's his first and my 3rd.
Little bean is looking good! Measured 8 weeks instead of 7w 5d.. so new edd is 8/3! Heartbeat is 156, and my wonderful NP is letting me come back in 2 weeks for just a hb check to ease my mind until my 12 week appt. Couldn't be happier right now
My husband is hilarious. He hung it on the fridge like this.
Anyhow,got my first ultrasound and my fertility app was right on the money. 6 weeks 5 days at the time. We were just shown the heartbeat dunno what it was. Then again my doctor wasn't even aware why I was in his office when I got there so.... Time to find a new doctor!
I'm so jealous of all these people who get these early appointments! I'm told 9 or 10 weeks for my first appointment is totally normal, but that's the first option I was given by my doctor.
Hi girls! Hubby & I did an IVF cycle last month. We had our first ultrasound on Dec. 16 to ensure a proper pregnancy. We go back for a second on Dec. 29!
Hey ladies! We went for our ultrasound on Christmas Eve! From my LMP and Ovulation I was 6w4d. We saw the HB, 110 bpm! Baby measured little at 5w5days. But I was told not to worry as since they are so little it's hard to get exact measurements. Anyone have any experience with that?
I've had two u/s one at 6 weeks to confirm pregnancy as I had a previous mc. Then one at 7 weeks 2 days! I have an EDD of 8/8/16 and baby had a heart rate of 153 BPM! I am so thrilled!!!!
I have had three miscarriages this year and this morning I got to see a fast flicker of a heart beat!!!! Words cannot describe my excitement!!! I measured around 6 weeks which is what I expected. I go back on Jan 12 to hear the heartbeat! Ahh!
I found out that I was pregnant on December 13 (my mom's birthday). On December 17th, things started to look a little shaky when I started bleeding. The ER said that things looked ok, but there was no way to know for certain yet. The initial couple of ultrasounds they couldn't find an embryo and were talking about the potential of a blighted ovum. Four blood tests and three ultrasounds later, my hcg levels are still rising AND I saw my little one on the ultrasound today. The best part was when we saw the flickering of the heartbeat. That was the biggest relief today! I am officially 6 weeks 3 days by the measurements and I'm due August 19th.
After an hour into the appt and two midwives, we got to see our lima bean. The 1st midwife couldn't find anything and said she needed a 2nd opinion after, "Not seeing what she was supposed to be seeing". (But don't freak out of course). Thirty minutes later, the 2nd midwife jammed in the transvaginal. I was so relieved. In between the tears we got to hear the heartbeat! Baby measured exactly 8wks.
First appointment isn't until Jan 20th, which will be 9 weeks. Since this is my first, the wait is KILLING ME. But, time flies when you are having fun, so hopefully it will go by quickly!

This is from 12/18 but I just felt like sharing! Think I should have been 7 weeks exactly based on O date, but baby measured 6+4 with a heartbeat of 138. I go back for my next appointment and ultrasound on 1/13 and I just want to fast forward until then!!
We had our 8w3d ultrasound today, and it was so incredible! Our previous ones we got to see the heartbeat, but they let us hear it this time. It was strong at 180bpm. We can see the baby's brain, which is the dark spot in the head, and the baby was moving around. She/he must be camera shy because she/he turned away from the wand when the picture was being taken. So, here she/he is with her/his back facing us! I'm so in love already. Hearing the heart and watching the baby move was just indescribably amazing!
Unexplained with (controlled) hypothyroidism and suspected ovulatory dysfunction (but, I do ovulate on my own)
Clomid 50 mg 3/15 (unmonitored) - BFN
Clomid 50 mg + metformin 4/15 (unmonitored) - BFN
First RE appt. 5/15; Natural cycle 5/15 monitored with 2 mature follicles and Pregnyl Trigger (full dose) + prometrium - BFN
6/15 HSG - clear tubes & normal uterus; great PCT test results
TI - 100 mg Clomid + prometrium (AM & PM) + vaginal estrace (AM & PM) 6-7/15 (monitored) --> no additional response and thinned lining - BFN
TI - Injectables (follistim + Gonal-F, Ganirelix, & 1/2 dose Pregnyl) + prometrium (AM & PM) 9/15 --> 3-7 mature follicles (3 definites and 4+ that could have matured due to trigger) @ O -->BFN + 5 large cysts
So awesome! We go back on Jan 18th and I'm so excited to hear the heartbeat which we weren't able to at 6wand5days. But the heart beat was there and at 128bpm. I would love to see it move congrats!
Had our first US today at 8w2d. It was amazing to hear the baby's heart beat...that's got to be my favorite part . Measured me at 8w3d, but will still keeping my same due date. Baby's heart rate was 176 bpm. I feel so relieved to finally see our little nugget!! Next appt will be at 12 weeks.
Had another ultrasound today (last one until January 28th!), and baby is measuring 2 days ahead of schedule still Baby is measuring 8 weeks 5 days and we heard the heartbeat at 157 bpm Little arms and legs, and the ultrasound tech pointed out the growing brain, too! Oh so in love!!
Just had my first ultrasound! Baby was measuring 7w3d and had a heartbeat of 148. I had calculated that I'm 7w2d based on ovulation so baby is very close to that! We were able to see and hear the heartbeat

Twinny twins! I have no idea what their heartbeats were, we were too in shock from the news. But they sounded great! 8 weeks

Baby at seven weeks heart beat sounds good first baby and having all sorts of symptoms but glad the baby is healthy
