This! Before A, I was teacher and wife. So my number one is to get back to being myself outside of work and, now, mom. I guess embracing hobbies.

    2. Run a trail or road race in the first half of the year, even if I start with a 5k.
    3. Worry less
  • Learn about our new town and get involved in the community as soon as possible as a new LEO wife.

    Get into shape after baby.

Unpack boxes and get our new rent-house feeling "homey" within the first 2 months!

Attend some infant care classes and a bf class. We're doing well. We want to do even better.

Read Watership Down aloud to the baby.

Start exclusively nursing at night (tonight is our first night TRYING that out) instead of pumping and bottle feeding.

Take a dance class. I used to dance. I miss dancing. I'd like to dance again.

Get back in the pool! I miss swimming so much.. And i was informed that I had to wait 6 weeks after delivery at least before I could swim again.

Re-establish my sex life. For the same reasons as above.
  • **I want to get back into the gym and regain my strength and muscle tone that I had before becoming pregnant. I only worked out for the first few months and then once school started up again I totally fell off the wagon and didn't work out the last 5 months of my pregnancy. **Continue with nursing/pumping when I go back to work and not just give in and begin formula for the little guy because I get lazy and don't stick to a schedule with pumping.  **Make sure that DH and I make time for each other and ourselves.  I have to remember that even though LO is consuming 98% of our time now, that we will need to work hard together and that every once in a while, we deserve a day/evening out with one another.
