Like the name, but TBH, not a fan of the unusual spelling. I like Macy better. I don't think Macee makes a great name for when your little one grows up and it is put on a business card.

Definitely no on Macee... Macy is at least the correct spelling but all I can think of is Teen Mom and that's not a great reference.

I have a Maci in my class this year, and I must say that I often wish she had a better name because she's such a lovely girl. I vote no!

I love Macy! I do wish there was a good formal name for it. In college, I wanted to use Masen for a girl as a Twilight reference and call her Macy to appease my husband. This was before Mason took off for boys.

Is there a more "grown up" middle name she could choose to use later in life?

I don't think Macy is juvenielle. Tracy or Stacy aren't, so why is Macy. I do think you should spell it Macy, though. Macee looks a little silly.

I'm going to echo what everyone else had said, if you're going to use it than at least spell it correctly. It's not great either way but I've heard a lot worse lately.

Sorry, but I have to agree with PPs that this is a misspelled version of a(nother misspelled) Teen Mom name.

Names ending in ee are most often seen in kids who grow up in trailer parks. If you're ok with that, go ahead. Macy is ok, I guess. Nothing wrong with it, at any rate.

Macee. I can't remember all the details, but I'm pretty sure she was a grown girl when this was posted. Mom just wanted to see what we would say, and then wasn't too happy we criticized her daughter's name.
