My UO is I think it's kind of unfair to let your kids believe in Santa after like age 7.
I guess I accidentally revealed to some 15 year olds with developmental disabilities that Santa was fictional. Sorry, but a teenager, disabled or not, should be a teenager, and should know that Santa is just a story. i feel like I did the kids a service--they are in high school, after all.
Then again, I was the Jewish kid in my neighborhood who apparently told a bunch of little kids that Santa wasn't real. Oops.
My brothers told me at such a young age, I just pretended for my mom for the longest time. I'm kind of debating on even doing "Santa" .. I do know however we are doing "gifts from Grams" every year on Christmas and her birthday to honor and keep my grandmother involved. I'm really unsure if we should just replace Santa with that or do both. But yeah, I spilled the beans to a freshman during a speech competition and her mom tried to sue the school. Over Santa. I mean really? You're 13...
