Re: FFFC

  • I love debating and discussing different ideals with people but I still want to smack the 45 year old man I work with who started a dialogue about transgendered people in sports last night.

Personally, I think there are some issues involved that need to be figured out before it could be done but I did not need to know what a close-minded jack a** he is. Live and let live. It's not a complicated concept. AKA: mind your own damned business. If you aren't part of a group, why care what they do?

JUST KIDDING! Lol but DH told me that Trump is just putting on an act to discredit the Republican party...idk if I believe someone could be that stup-- craz-- radical on purpose. But I'm sure there are people out there who really do support him. And I judge them just a teeny bit. Lol

I get the feeling that he's doing it more to keep everyone distracted so that no one is working that hard to discredit the other Republican candidates.
    That's more believable.

For a second there I thought you were talking about Caitlyn Jenner's whole "It makes people uncomfortable if you look like a man in a dress" comment. The only thing that looks bad on a transwoman is transphobia, Cait, dearie!

  • @nerdchild 100% appropriate response

also, here's a creepy internet hug...

FFFC: I think humane euthanization of humans should be legal. I just spent an hour on the phone with one of my terminally ill study participants, trying to talk him down until the police and emt could reach his apartment, praying the whole time that he didn't shoot himself while I was on the phone with him. I'm angry that his hospice care isn't managing his pain appropriately, and angry that he doesn't have a better option than a fucking gun.

Fuck today. Fuck not being able to have a goddamned drink after that goddamned shit storm. Fuck all of it.

I almost got attacked by a raging 12 year old client and thought I had a bad day but you wow that is never a good spot to be in so sorry that happened. Thank you for being with me on wishing I could have a drink after today and can't!

  • I'm over pregnancy as of today ! It sucks and I'm convinced anyone who says otherwise is a liar! I've been in pain from a headache all day and can't take excedrin the only thing that helps mine and been pukey all day because of it I quit! If I hear one more horror story about labor or talk of tearing I will cry. Where is my glow dammnit !?

  • @Lindsayleigh1989 Holy shit, hope you are okay! That's scary!
  • I am deathly allergic to Corgi's. Dog allergies are breed specific.
    Now Pugs and Frenchies...gimme
  • I can't believe so many of us have corgis on this board - I have one too - my guy is 8 years old and the only way I can survive the shed bunnies is my BFF the roomba :)

  • I drink cola all the time for nausea. It helps!

Mine today is instead of making dinner my 2 year old and I shared a burrito and chips. Easy night made.
  • I'd like to join the 'I need to wine' club. My day was nowhere near as traumatic as those described, but dammit, hormones and stress and adulting and I DON'T WANNA. It's 6pm and I'm in bed.

I puked on someone's lawn while DH and I were strolling in the neighborhood looking at Christmas decoration, and I started crying because I puked in my hair and I just have washed it today!

That was a very pregnant moment. I'm not laughing at your misery. I'm laughing with it. It happens to the best of us.

  • I put together the most ridiculous, over the top Christmas list for DH and when he appeared shocked by the price of most of the items I told him he should add up the cost of all the Uber rides and bottles of wine he would have paid for over these next months - more than pays for the items! Oh and the house cleaner I'm also requesting we add monthly. Most selfish thing I think I've done, but I'm ok with it!
  • My super crunchy midwife gave me shit for eating healthy all week and then having velveta once! Plus taking two sips of a beer. Come on now, I am allowed to have comfort food buds a scary bleed and ER trip?! Also, my bitch owners at work today pulled too much crap and I quit. DH supports me though, they were awful.

How old are your babies!? Oscar is ten and he's definitely...hmmm...full of personality!! The shedding, oh god the shedding...but his little bunny butt makes up for all the vacuuming.

    corgi butts are the best!

Mine will be 6 years old in May. I'm used to the shedding. What I find annoying is my husband complaining about it EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!! He still loves her though, how could he not! :)

I love it!!!! Most people have never even seen a corgi or know what one looks like... They always think he's a Bassett mix! But yea, the shedding is crazy and my guy has really sensitive skin so we can't use a furminator in him... We vacuum and sweep every other day!!

This has been one of the most tame fffc in a long time.

It's the magic powers of the corgi!!!!!!!
  • It's not Friday anymore, but I had Subway today. It was toasted if that helps. I figure it's better than McDonald's right? Right.
