When I take LO back to her crib after our MOTN nursing I take a little extra time to hold her as I know the time that she will be little enough to sleep on my shoulder will be fleeting. I really live in the moment at that time & it feels so good to just be with her. Love her so much!
Cuddles right after nursing are the best. I also love that she reaches for us now. Sometimes she really wants mom or dad and its fun to see her preferences.
LO is doing the penguin arm flap when she gets really excited. I came home from work the other day to find her sitting happily on her Nina's lap, she turns and sees me and starts flapping her arms and grinning from ear to ear. Melts my heart. I'm also savoring the middle of the night cuddles when we co sleep. I'm having a hard time grasping that already 6 months has past. This is our last baby so I'm doing my best to take in all the small stuff.

Love it - I've been trying to see it as more of a positive that LO gives me so many extra motn cuddles I know I really am going to miss that time.
