Just went to use the bathroom and found a lot of brown blood. It's a lot more than on Sunday. Called my doctor, waiting for a call back (the office doesn't open until 10 today). I have a really bad feeling.
So sorry you're going through this. Also praying that it's just old blood from the other day. I think the fact that it's brown is much better than if it were red. Please let us know when they call you back?
They called back just now. The nurse was really kind and caring, but not at all concerned and doesn't think I need to be seen. She said to call back if it turns to a bright red flow or I get bad cramping, but the brown blood is probably just some that was left in my cervix and is coming down.
It's funny, I was just thinking yesterday that I was finally starting to believe this could really be happening and enjoying it. Reality check!

I'm glad that they don't seem concerned and I hope that you're able to relax back into the pregnancy. When is your next visit?
@megstervt Sorry you had another scare, so glad that the doctor doesn't seem to be concerned and really hoping you are able to breathe a little more. Thinking of you!
I'm pretty dang sick today. I have a terrible head cold and it has lit a fire under my nausea.
Also, I live in a dry cold climate in the winter and not sure if it's because I'm pregnant or what but I've noticed my throat and nasal passages are extra dry in the night and it's making sleeping more difficult then it already is being pregnant. I've heard a warm air vaporizer may help through the winter months. I'm thinking I may go get one today. I've never tried one but thought I would ask if any of you have and if it did the trick?
@megstervt Well that's good news! I'm sure she's right. And that makes sense!! I know what you mean tho...I feel like every time I get over a hump, I face a new worry!!
Well I'm taking a chance - took advantage of Macy's clearance deals and Friends and Family sale and bought a handful of maternity clothes. Hopefully I get to wear them!! They're awfully cute and I think I scored some good deals.
@megstervt I'm glad the nurse wasn't too concerned. Brown (vs. red) is definitely a good sign. Thinking positive thoughts for you!
@tennisbabymama I'm sorry you haven't been feeling well. I swear by my humidifier - can't sleep in the winter without it!
me 30; DH 35 TTC since May 2014. Aug 2014 BFP, EDD April 22, 2015. Low progesterone, started suppositories. Loss at 5w6d. Nov 19, 2015 BFP at 13 dpo, EDD July 29, 2016. MMC discovered 12/29 (9+4). Natural miscarriage 1/16 (12+1). AMH results 0.42, 1.2; FSH 12.1, AFC 10, dx DOR. RPL testing results normal. Nurse recommended progesterone suppositories in TWW. Clomid + trigger + TI cycle August 2016 - failed. Thin lining. Femara + trigger + TI cycle December 2016 - failed. Thin lining. Short LP (8 days). Acupuncture & Chinese herbs starting January 2017, lengthened LP to 10 days
@megstervt i don't have much to add, but thinking of you... you're right that as soon as we think we can relax something else pops up... but it's good that there are many possible good explanations for this, crossing fingers that all continues to be well
@tennisbabymama yes the congestion and breathing problems at night are real... i think the heat from the apartment is making things worse... can't believe i didn't wake my husband up last night with my loud breathing... let me know how the humidifier ends up working out!
i haven't been posting much but i'm following everything and crossing fingers for all upcoming appointments!
@tennisbabymama i'm sure that it wouldn't hurt. I don't have any personal experience with that though. I do know that some women have problems breathing throughout pregnancy. Hopefully this isn't bad!
My nerves are definitely ramping up. I've got my ultrasound tomorrow at two and I'm trying to do everything I can to not think about it. LOL ... So sorry, I write this every week.

PGAL brain is real!!! Hope your day is busy and you breeze through.
@BostonBaby1 good! No scan this week. RE didn't feel it was necessary to do one. I'll have my third scan next Thursday and then I will graduate to my OB!
So my therapy appt went ok. She offered to get me a bedside ultrasound but cautioned me that the machine they have sucks and we might not be able to even see anything at this stage. After talking with her, I decided to wait until next week and if I still want to do it, I can call for one. I am afraid if I got one today and couldn't see anything, I would just be so much worse. I feel better just knowing that I can call and request one.
She told me I need to find a distraction and we came up with reading books. So I'm going to try to do that more. Get lost in some story.
She also was able to get DH to understand why I just want to sleep all the time, lol
@MamaBish I know the TTGP board is starting a book club, you were really active there, I'm sure they wouldn't mind having you join if you are interested!!
@BostonBaby1 Praying for a good US tomorrow. I almost punch someone In the face the other day because she was telling me "In some ways you are lucky to be high risk, you get plenty of US to see your baby...." Yeah real luck
FX to all of you with appointments today! Hoping for some good updates!
I am still spotting brown blood. I've had a couple spots on my underwear, but it's mostly when I wipe. I've also been having on and off cramping, really mild (feel like twinges or just a gentle pressure). Between that and the spotting it feels like the first day of my period which is scary. I was really hoping the spotting would stop overnight, but it didn't. I'm trying to be thankful that it's still brown and not heavy, but I'm terrified. Wish I had uterus goggles!
I had my first actual Doc's appointment today- got to see the babies again. Not as good of a picture, since it was a doctor doing the ultrasound and not the tech (who I think just does a better job), and they didn't even measure them, but the heartbeats have gotten stronger- from 148 and 160 to 172 and 174. So really close. They are moving around a LOT. I got all my yearly stuff done, cervix test, pelvic exam, super fun. Answered 800 questions. I won't go back for four weeks now.
Hugs @megstervt ... I wish I had magic pills to calm us all (if only Xanax wasn't contraindicated-I kid-sort of.
So after a very near panic attack waiting for the u/s, we had a great scan. Had a little trouble getting a clear look but had a hb at 169 and is measuring a week ahead at 10+2.
Just got a call from the doctor's office. Harmony results came back clear and looks like boy #3 for us. Holy crap! At least we already have plenty of hand-me-downs!
Also I have one question, Do you think it's too early for round ligament pain?? I've been feeling really crampy (not period like, more stretching like for the past 2 days) and tonight I got up from the couch quickly and the pain in my groin area was sharp and quick. I just hate hate hate all this cramping/stretching. Last night I had a quick but really painful "cervix cramp" and barely slept because I kept getting up to check if I started bleeding....
@jolydan, I've been having the same pain, weird sharp pinches in that area. Not cramps, not gas, just pinches. Is that what rlp feels like? I've never had it before so I have no reference point.

@jolydan how far along are you again? TB says week 10 can be the start of RLP but I also think I'm feeling the beginnings of it. Last week I measured 9+6 (4 days ahead.) I have another u/s next week. Maybe the week after too and praying we make it to and through the NT which I scheduled for the end of the month.
@BostonBaby1 I'm only 7+4 so a bit far from the 10 weeks mark.... I use to do a lot of pilates so I know that my core and pelvis muscle/ligaments are tight maybe it's the reason I'm a special snowflake . It could also have been a really weird gas pain, but it really felt like a new thing. I guess I'll know when the second trimester ever expanding uterus kicks in.

Honestly, I've felt some strange mild pains, stretchy feelings for a couple of weeks. I'm sure 90% is gas but the uterus is actually stretching so feeling that makes sense. Just wait till all of the special snowflakes start to claim that this is their babies moving. It's going to happen! Just wait ;-)
@jolydan I've been having round ligament pain since 4 weeks. I got checked out by my dr to be sure and she agrees. I've got super stretchy muscles so I think that is why.
I am doing OK. The spotting seems to have slowed, I had none last night and none overnight which is great! I did have a little this morning after throwing up, but given how intense my throwing up is I'm OK with it. Hoping it stays away this morning as its been heaviest in the AM. DH is OK. He doctor thinks the spot is a cyst so he's keeping an eye on it for a week or 2. And to add to my fun, I found out this week I was exposed to whooping cough. I have to go in today for the vaccine and a nasal swab. Hopefully I don't have it so won't have to take the medicine. Doctor says the vaccine is totally safe in the 1st tri even though it's not normally given until the 3rd. Oh well, just add it to the list of things to worry about.
Guys... This is TMI but I have to share and figured you'd understand.
MS has hit me with a vengeance over the last few days (I'm 7+2) and today at work I started vomiting. At home, I kneel down on my bath mat like a normal person, but at work I was not about to sit on the floor.
Anyway, I threw up and the toilet water splashed back in my face!!
I am having a hard day. After a great u/s on monday with a strong heartbeat! I am spotting. Heavier than usual. TMI alert.. it's brown and shmutzy now, but yesterday it was red and there was a clot. I don't want to call the doctor because we both know there is a bleed in there. But... i am freaked. On top of it all I have an upper respritory infection and have started antibiotics. I just don't understand why it can't be easy for once!
@Deepoet I second megstervt on this. If you have a sensitive cervix, lots of coughing could be causing the bleeding.
I'm going for my remicade infusion today (my usual treatment for my autoimmune diseases) and even though I know it's safe I'm really Worried I hate pumping antibodies in my body but I know it's worst for baby if I flare than the treatment itself
I posted a few above you @jolydan. I'm doing OK! Spotting has really stopped for the most part and my MS is full force since I didn't take my diclegis last night.
