agreed! SOOO THIRSTY!! I have been feeling twinges and cramps on my left side pretty frequently. Earlier in the week I felt nauseous but its much better lately. Also saw some brown drainage and freaked because of the pressure/cramping on the left side. but my betas have been great (114/263) per the doc.

I think I'm about 5 weeks, and I have no symptoms yet. Not that I want to be puking, but it would be nice to feel SOMETHING.

Nausea has hit me with a vengeance. With my last pregnancy it didn't start until 6 weeks so I'm surprised I'm already feeling it (4weeks4days). I'm also generally exhausted and thirsty all the time!

So last night I went to the bathroom and there was bright red blood. So I went to the ER where they checked my HCG levels and put me at around 6 weeks pregnant. Then they did a ultrasound and there was a sac in my uterus and that I measured at 5w4days. But that's all they could tell me. They told me I had to go get a Rohgam shot within 72 hours. This morning when I woke up I had discharge but it was dark brown and a little chunky; but it almost looks and feels like I'm just having a normal period for me....I'm just pregnant. I'm going to my ob Monday morning and Tuesday for the first appt. Have any of you ever heard of this? What should I do?

This is my first time ever being pregnant, and I will say the cramping that I am having is that of a regular period but nothing painful.

Unfortunately, you'll just have to wait until you see your doctor tomorrow morning. Bleeding is quite common during pregnancy and could be due to a variety of reasons. If your baby was measuring on track, that's a great sign. If you are having a miscarriage, there is nothing they can do to prevent it. If you start bleeding more/again, there is no need to go to the ER unless you are soaking through a pad per hour. Good luck at your appointment tomorrow.

@Kristin712 that's what I'm waiting on. I don't think I'm miscarrying because even the dr said those can be particularly painful and I'm not having anything like that. And this is all coming out when I go to the restroom. I haven't had any blood since 11:30 last night but now it's just the dark brown chunky discharge. Thank you so much!

Brown=old blood. That's a good sign.

I am 4w5d along. I just had a MC in September. This pregnancy is very different. I have been super nauseous, dizzy, sore boobs in and out, mild cramping, really thirsty, and SUPER tired!!

I just got my bfp today(well, I had a squinter yesterday but turned a digi today). The first clue I had something was up was lowr back pain on Friday. Yesterday and today I've had some mild cramps, but my neck is so sore and stiff.

Does anyone have any tips on the thirst issue? I don't know if I should seriously cut back on salty foods (i don't eat a lot anyway) I wake up at night sometimes so dehydrated i have muscle cramps but I drink nothing but water all day.

@JenniferMasters maybe add in some gatorade to bump up your electrolytes? If you don't like the sweet taste you can water it down 1/2 and 1/2 with water.

I'm 4 weeks 6 days PG. The day after I got my BFP I had Nausea in the morning (but I think it was all in my head). That week I had some headaches. Most days my breasts have been sore. Yesterday I had some spotting which scared me (this is my first pregnancy). It was mostly brown which I heard/read is usually old blood so I'm trying not to freak out. When should I worry about spotting?

I found out about five days before my period was due. The line was barely visible and I thought I was imagining it. I took a test every day for a week with my cheap testing strips and watched the line get darker. My first symptom was frequent urination and exaggerated PMS symptoms. I had cramping around the time my period was due. My breasts were also extremely sore and sensitive. Now, my breasts aren't as sore, but nipples are larger and darker. I don't have any morning sickness. I am very tired, but I also work night shift. I crave red meat. When I am hungry, I am very hungry. I don't feel all that pregnant and I occasionally take a test to remind myself :-) I have my first ob/gyn appt coming up.

absolutely no nausea (which i would almost welcome at this point, to prevent me from eating everything in sight) but my breasts are so sore i have to keep them pent up in a sports bra 24/7 and wince when my man hugs me too enthusiastically.

in my 4th week, i had weird little twinges/cramps in my lower abdomen that weren't painful, just a little uncomfortable. they started on the right, then shifted to the left. they're infrequent, but a weird reminder that there is internal change underway.

@WinchesterGirl I first noticed it Saturday. Yesterday there was none, today it's back, very very light currently. Let me know what your Dr says please.

Brown spotting is normal, I've talked to my dr about it more than once. Red blood is when it is a cause for concern (which is why I went to the ER) brown is good, it's just old blood being pushed out and making room for the baby!

So exhausted!!! To add to the prego exhaustion, my toddler just started waking up at 4:30, and I don't know why...its been 10 straight days. I just want some extra sleep.

This might sound a little weird but does anyone feel....opposite?

I'm hungry but not hungry, tired but not tired, everything hurts and I want to cry but don't know the reason. It leaves me feeling off and anxious-I don't know how I'm going to sleep

Apparently my bloat is super bump shaped this week. Multiple people, to include strangers have asked me if I'm pregnant/when the baby is due. I guess we won't be hiding it for long (though I'd at least like to get through my first OB appointment).

I guess I shouldn't be surprised. When I was 9 weeks pregnant with my 3rd, a woman told me that I must be very close to being due.

I guess at this point my body just knows what to do and is preemptively moving the organs around.

This is my 3rd pregnancy. I tested because I was a couple days late, I was having crazy vivid dreams every night, and I felt hungry all the time. Those symptoms remain, but add slight nausea and bloating to the mix.

I'm in my sixth week. So far nausea all the time. I started those preggie pop candies and those do help a little, also some ginger tea and acupressure bracelets, but seriously i feel as if i could vomit all the time. Also fatigue, exhausted and bowl issues. Ready and hopeful for 2nd tri that I feel somewhat normal and functional again

Just really tired with random bouts of nausea. Cramping here and there and my sciatic nerve was being funky last night. I had such problems my entire first pregnancy with that so I'm not happy it's already starting.

6 weeks today, first appt 12/14. It's been a roller coaster. After I found out, lost my appetite for about a week and had really odd abdominal pain on my left side that sometimes spread to neighboring muscles, never severe enough to be a concern. Other than that? Totally fine. Now in week 5, 6, no more abdominal pain, just huge tender boobs and mild nausea (ironically enough, mostly in the morning). I'm probably more tired than usual but that's hard to tell. Emotionally I'm doing good! Except for feeling like a total baby when it comes to this nausea.

I'm 5w6d and so far I've been good except for these last few days. My boobs are so tender and growing and the nausea is kicking in overdrive. Any ideas on how to handle the nausea? It's just enough to irritate me, but I can't throw up..

I'm 6w3days and just started to feel nausea and food aversions. Nothing sounds appealing except spinach salads and chicken soup (home made) and coffee. Which I hardly ever drink. Oh and runny egg on toast( but iI'm celiac so I don't eat bread unless it's specialty and even then I usually can't because of corn allergy) oh food woes!

It's normal to come and go, even throughout the day. The majority of women bloat as the day goes on due to eating/retaining/not popping and wake up the next morning looking normal.

I've noticed that too-I wake up with a slight bump that's gets more noticeable as the day goes on until it's uncomfortable after dinner. Water helps, I fall asleep about 9 or 10 then it's fine the next morning lol

I've had my first cravings. I have hated olives my ENTIRE life, but a couple weeks ago (before I even got the bfp!) I made DH go out and buy me olives. I ate an entire jar of pimento stuffed and half a jar of garlic stuffed in one night. It was ridiculous. Then I had a little nausea this morning and I've been a bit emotional but that's it so far.

My skin on the back of my hands is drying out, cracking and bleeding. I'm drinking 3+ liters of water per day. My lips are also super cracked.

Already throwing up all meals. This is pregnancy number 5 for me and I have two boys. I have never been this sick this early! And up at 4am every morning for some unknown reason!
