As for the cord around the neck, it's pretty much a non issue. I've touched a cord with blood flowing through it, and they're damn hard to compress enough to restrict blood flow, which is the only concern. The baby can't strangle itself with the cord, because it's not breathing yet. As for being born with cord around the neck, the main concern is that it won't be long enough to allow the baby to be born fully, but they're usually loose enough to be easily slipped over the head before the shoulders are born. Three of my five have been born with cord entanglement. Two were fairly simple- one had it looped around her neck, one was born with it looped loosely around his chest. My fourth had a cord wrapped twice around the neck, around her shoulder, around her waist, and between her legs. That thing was crazy. She was born so fast that I was literally the only adult present, and I just unwrapped her and put her to breast, nbd.
I just got to my husband's hometown and I don't have my doppler with me, it's driving me crazy! I do feel the baby kick still.
Any moms here had a similar feeling? It's like my uterus drank a fizzy carbonated drink!
My toddler would tell you it's just the baby's phone. Because of course they have toys in there. Our baby has cars and monkeys that are pretend and a puppy, according to him. Hahahaha!
They come intermittently and in short bursts, just as if your phone was vibrating under your skin. I'm still having it! So weird. It's definitely not hiccups.
I've been staying hydrated, and making sure to drink a whole bottle of water before bed, which is part of what makes this so weird to me. I thought you could avoid it by staying up on your water intake?
It's been 5 years since I've been pregnant and this baby is way more active than my other 2 ever were this early.
My gas is out of control! What's worse is I can't keep the toots in sometimes when I walk. Sorry to all my coworkers who I have crop dusted this past week!
Eta: props to my husband for being a champ, I don't even try to hold them in around him anymore!

OB recommended it and said it should really cut the heartburn attacks in half.
I got them with my first 3 babies, but haven't had any with this one. I'm not drinking anywhere near as much water as I did with the others, so I agree that I don't think it has anything to do with hydration. Sports cramps, yes, it's a hydration issue. But pregnancy cramps, probably hormonal.
Liver disease will make the urine the color of Pepsi, not darker yellow, but by the time that happens a person will also be jaundiced and will likely also have clay-colored stools.
Side note, did you know vitamins are not regulated well enough to actually ensure they have the ingredients the label says they do? Not really worth the hype imho...
People who eat normal diets to not need vitamins and supplements. Period. I tell this to my patients all the time, but people are really obsessed with their supplements! Many refuse to take real medicines in lieu of supplements (which are not studied and not regulated).
Women trying to conceive and pregnant need more folate, iron and calcium so it is reasonable to supplement these during these specific times.
