@JanaBonfield I've had shortness of breath too even just sitting on the couch sometimes. It's super annoying and agree a little alarming. How will I get through labor if I'm struggling just sitting down sometimes?!
@misstopsail, I had pregnancy-induced carpal tunnel syndrome with my first and I'm horrified to say that it's back. I cycle through pain and numbness for most of the day; some days being worse than others. I wear wrist splints every night which help somewhat. You can pick them up at a drug store. It sucks not being able to use your hands or having pain when you do. I'm keeping two potential plans in mind for when it gets really bad this time- acupuncture and steroid injections done by a hand specialist.
Does anyone else have to pee super frequently? I'm 18 + 3, and this just started maybe 5 days ago….I literally have to go every 45 min. I'm trying to stay very hydrated but this seems excessive. I doubt it's a UTI because it doesn't burn and I do urinate a decent amount every time. I thought it was too early in the game for this I couldn't complete a 1 hr aerobics class today without taking a break halfway to pee…and I went right before too!
Also, my husband says I've started snoring. Not cool!

I literally start struggling with breathing at 4pm every night. I called the doctor at least 3 times and finally I am going to see a pulmonologist because I constantly feel like I cannot get any oxygen in.

I need to pee about every 30 minutes! Granted, I do drink a lot.
Anyone else notice more hair? I went from having barely any hair on my tummy to a full out fuzzed belly! Felling a little bit like a bear lately when I take my shirt off.
@jordanbara we haven't found out what our little one is yet but I have very strong boy feelings and boy dreams. I'm excited to find out and even more excited for when the fuzz disappears haha

For the past few days I've noticed my right thigh going numb. It isn't numb to the point of being debilitating, but it is noticeable enough to be annoying. I was immediately concerned until I researched it and found others suffered from it as well. Just praying it doesn't get worse.
So I've been noticing shortness of breath, and for the past few days I've been randomly seeing stars. From what Dr. Google says, I need to up my water intake, and possibly salt. Might just be from increased blood flow. I see Dr on Tuesday, but has anyone else had similar symptoms, and did hydrating better help with it?

I've been experiencing this since 12 or 13 weeks, and the only thing that helps is to slow down and be conscious of my body's alignment. Everything is getting smooshed up to make room for LO, so the lungs don't have room to expand like they did before.

What helps me is to stop moving and talking. Drinking ice cold water, and walking inside of the giant walk in refrigerator at work.

All the time. Like others said, slow down and drink water. I also just have grown used to it and will stand and wait it out
Goodness, so many symptom posts. Has anyone ever sifted through these and found their answers? I've got two symptoms that I need relief to and was wondering what people have done to help. I'm very constipated and I have lots of night time leg cramps. Symptoms suggest dehydration but I drink lots of water. Any supplement, drink, available, was these symptoms handled together or separately?
Anyone experienced a very sharp pain in the uterus when sneezing? I'm 13+3 and I don't know if I should be worried. I was laying down when I sneezed and I had to crawl into fetal position from the pain afterwards
Yes this happens whenever I sneeze. I learn to brace myself when I'm about to sneeze and it usually works.

My digestive system is super reactive to meds (take a stool softener - diarrhea for days) so my OB recommended Miralax for constipation because I could do half doses or even a little less.
@rebelone in my last pregnancy I had horrible leg cramps and I was recommended to take a magnesium supplement. Since then I've done more research and I've found I'm actually quite deficient in magnesium (many of us are). I live with chronic constipation but it's only so much more worse during pregnancy. I take 2tsp of Natural Calm which is a magnesium supplement (powder mixed with water), which is supposed to help regulate me (among many other benefits, including relieving Charlie horses). It still doesn't make me completely regular, but I find with that and my probiotic, at least my stool is softer to make me more comfortable (and spare me my horrific hemorrhoid flare ups). But obviously look into it and check with your doc.
@rebelone I have trouble with constipation when I'm not pregnant (BMs maybe once each week) but it has gotten so much worse with pregnancy that I take two colase a day. When I need a little extra, I down apple juice and prunes just don't do anything for me. Now I'm going to have to try a magnesium supplement because I've heard it also helps with nausea, which I still experience occasionally. I haven't had any leg cramps, just restlessness, but generally potassium (but bananas constipate, so you really can't win) and water take care of them. It's possible that something like Gatorade could help with electrolyte balance if you are drinking a lot of water.
@amadorrose I was also thinking bananas originally, but as I mentioned before I'm already backed up lol I had a really bad Charlie horse the other night that my calf muscle is still sore it's hard to walk.
I'll definitely have to try a magnesium supplement but not sure of the dosage considering too much could be harmful. I will put an inquiry in to my OB so thank you ladies. And maybe will have to look into Miralax or a stool softener. I am not very comfortable with inserting suppositories though.
@rebelone you're supposed to work up to the dosage that works best for you, starting with very little and ending when your stool is just a bit loser (and then backing off just a bit). Although I haven't really reached that point but got to the max suggested dose, and then backed off some when I got pregnant. Nothing may help these bowels. (You could also take a pill according to what your doc suggests, that's what I started with)
Hi there, I'm new to this. I never post on threads but figured I'd get some insight from you ladies. I've been having terrible headaches mostly in the back of my head but have noticed some weird vision changes. I can be quite worrisome and Google a little too much. I always end up scaring myself when I do this but it's like I just can't help it. Anyways my Dr. Isn't concerned and I know he is the professional but I still get concerned. Anyone else experience terrible headaches or vision issues while pregnant? Thanks!
Potentionally TMI: I have been bleeding vaginally for the past 3 weeks. This is my first pregnancy and it is a twin pregnancy as well. The doctors can't find anything wrong with me or the babies and their heartbeats don't show any signs of distress (one is about 150 and the other usually around 145). The doctors just keep dismissing the issue since they can't find anything even though it gets so bad it literally starts dripping on the floor occasionally. Has anybody else experienced something like this that may help put my mind at ease ?
That has happened to me too a few times (seeing stars) and that makes sense about upping the water intake. I have mostly been drinking water but had added a daily root beer in the mix. (cravings

Unfortuntely I can't say I've experienced what you're going through, and although bleeding isn't uncommon in pregnancy, I can't say I wouldn't be concerned with the amount of blood you're saying you're having.
I understand your Doctor is saying everything looks "fine" but if it were still bothering me I'd make a trip to the ER to help ease my mind.
I'm sorry you're going through this - I know how worrisome it can be :-/
@rebelone Metamucil for constipation helps so much and I have a friend who swore by increasing magnesium for leg cramps (she took a supplement). I never tried magnesium but I drank Gatorade before bed and stretched really well and noticed a huge decline in cramping... I also ate a lot of potatoes high in potassium... I know it's lots of carbs though. You could eat a banana before bed too.
Anyone have or had an umbilical hernia? I have a little bubble at he top of my belly button, it's been there a few weeks, I'm wondering if that's what it is. Definitely going to mention it to the doc next appointment.
