I'm in the same boat! My son will be 10 one day before I'm due, I don't know what kind of announcement to do! I'm more concerned about how we're going to announce it to him..with such big news I want it to be extra special! Have you told your son yet?
@Jessms326 yes he is! He was a rescue but the vet thought he was 100% Aussie. We're unsure if he is mixed with something else though because he's pretty big and he is really calm. My IL's have a purebred Aussie and he's smaller and has a lot more energy!
I wouldn't have done an announcement, but dh really wanted to, and since it's our last I didn't want to say no. We posted these 3 pictures last night. (My husband is named Henry, so that is the reason for the last pic)
@nrs164 haha oh I love it .. Santa isn't the only one coming to town. I'm gonna do a Xmas theme too.. Probably on Xmas eve. I haven't taken the picture or 100% decided what I'll set up, but I'm so excited to share with you all!
We just ordered our Christmas cards last night so these will go out mid-December to family and friends then we will post on social media right before Chrsitmas.
This isn't finished being edited yet color wise but we will be posting this next Wednesday as long as everything is still great at the doctor that morning.
We announced on Thanksgiving. Trying to get three dogs to sit still and not eat the sign was a challenge but we did it! we couldn't get the cats in there though.
We announced the day before Thanksgiving with this sign in Facebook. All of our family knew and our close friends and church knew. So we decided that 14 weeks was long enough to make everyone wait with my random Facebook posts.
After being so disappointed with the pictures we had taken yesterday, I spent way too much time today playing around with ideas. I think this is the winner. But, I may still change my mind...we aren't announcing until the 20th.

Were announcing at Christmas. I'm still waiting on mine to arrive but this is what it will look like, just have to add a ultrasound picture. We are giving it to my grandmother. The t-shirts will be given to our kids as an announcement to them. (They are almost teenagers) This will be our first baby together.
My husbands nickname is Moose. EVERYONE calls him this. So this is what we are posting in about a week (after he has a boys night with a bunch of his buddies and tells them all in person)
We posted this picture of our dog on Facebook to announce our pregnancy. Not everyone got it... Someone actually asked if my dog was an expectant father!

We were surprised to find out that Santa isn't the only one coming to town...
And although Landon really just wants a dog, he is excited to meet his new best friend/partner-in-crime coming in early June!
