Planning to announce this weekend (we have the "grown ups only" Christmas party on my side of the family and the main Christmas get-together for DH's family both this weekend) but didn't get my shit together for a family photo and DH is working tons of OT so not gonna happen.
DD was also spectacularly uncooperative so this is what I'm getting printed to give as our Christmas card.
We plan to announce on NYE (I'll be 17+ weeks). We just started working on our little stop-motion video today, but I had to share the final image. I'll share the full video when it's finished!

We announced this afternoon on Facebook and it went over great. I was worried people wouldn't "get" it for some reason. I'm a HUGE bird watcher (in case it wasn't obvious)

We announced today that we are pregnant with the mug. "Lucky #7!" because this is the 7 grandchild for my parents. They were over the moon excited!! Then when it was time for Apple pie we served it with pink cool whip as a surprise that we knew the gender!! (we told them we find out next Monday lol) It was an all around awesome day and couldn't have gone better if I tried!
We also posted the news on fb tonight too with the stocking pic posted

This is a sample of what ours looks like (to protect real name). This will be a social media post to put up tomorrow (yay can't wait!) but all of our close family we told in person during Thanksgiving.
We just announced on FB yesterday with this. I did the photography (tripod for the win!) since I'm a photographer and wanted to DIY a fun announcement. DH and I are avid gardeners, so the "growing" theme fit us well. Also put this announcement as the "wine" label on a bottle of sparkling cider to give to DH's parents on Thanksgiving to surprise and announce to them. They loved it! I blurred out our last name for posting here FYI.
I love all of these!! We did ours last night. It was really more about the Star Wars theme since you can't even see the baby very well behind the text. But we thought it was a little fun...
This was a place on our college campus where DH and I used to sit and talk regularly when we were first dating. It has a lot of significance to us, since it's kind of where we fell in love. We were lucky enough to get back to campus over the holidays and it seemed like a perfect place to bring everything full circle.
