I am 9 weeks today and told a group of friends over the weekend at a birthday party. One of them didn't hear how far along I was and said to me "You are 100% having a boy, you are carrying low". I told her I must just carry my cake and ice cream low because I'm only 9 weeks :)

I wasn't offended because I am so bloated I look 5 months pregnant! This is my 2nd and I do feel like I look bigger than I did with my first this early on.

  • This 4th kid bloat is no joke!

There's always the other side of the coin too, you could be one of those huge pregnant ladies that has to deal with the "are you sure there's only one in there?" Question haha. My friend is HUGE because she has a very short midsection and people ask her if she's having twins or triplets all the time. Either way, bumps are beautiful in all shapes and sizes :-)

This is me. I get a HUGE belly and always get asked if it's multiples...

  • my husband said I looked pregnant this weekend, thought it was awesome because at that moment it didn't look like I had ate a large pizza and maybe cheesey bread sticks to myself.

People told me that up until delivery with DD. people were swearing our anatomy scan was incorrect. I'm nervous if Pipsqueak is a boy where will he go?! Not sure I can carry any lower than I did with DD. lol
  • So when do we get to start Wednesday Hump Day Bump Day? Some of us will be close to 12 weeks soon and most feel like there is a little something of a bump growing anyway.  It will be fun to see the progression, even if all we are starting with is bloat.
This!!! I'll be 12 weeks in a week and a half. And I swear I have photos of flat tummy before BFP, bloat belly on days when I'm bloated, and what I consider the baby curve- not a bump yet, but just a curvier, thicker midsection that wasn't like that before. I get bloated too, but I swear there's a difference between stuffed, farty bloat belly and the curve shape that baby has caused even on 'slim' days! I'm not going to let this one die. I have photo evidence!
  • I think we should start this Wednesday as our first official Hump Day "Blump" Day.  Some may not have a bump yet, some may have a little something to be excited about.  Either way, most will never again have a flat stomach after this baby... so might as well flaunt what we've got.  What do you all think?

Haha truth! I haven't had a flat belly since my DS. I want my old body back! :(

I think this Wednesday will be a good time to start! I have been taking pictures since I found out (once a week). Whatever we have, bump or bloat, it's still fun. This only lasts 9 months so we might as well enjoy every minute of it :-)

  • @kdm06c I look just like you do (it's my third), but I swear over the last week that bloat has gotten way worse, I think people who don't know yet are definitely going to start asking me already.
  • Lindsayleigh1989, me exactly. With my first, I was 9 months pregnant and there were people who didn't know.
  • This past weekend my blump was just out of control, and my tummy felt harder than it typically does. Today, I feel much better and the bloat has gone down quite a bit. It comes in waves I feel. Some days I'm completely normal and don't look or feel preggo at all, while others it's the complete opposite! So bizarre.

  • I'm showing a little bit! I'm 9.5 weeks but DS just turned 6 months yesterday so my body really didn't have much time to go back to normal! At my ob appt this week the dr told me my uterus was definitely enlarged more than others at this stage since I didn't have much time between pregnancies!
  • This is my 4th pregnancy this year... I've also had 4 major abdominal surgeries that have cut my torso vertically and horizontally so I am definitely distended. That being said, I'm not posting it on here now. Lol!
  • I will not be posting a blump picture anytime in the near future.

  • 16 weeks tomorrow and still rocking a flat stomach
  • I'm just now starting to show a LITTLE bit and I'll be 18 weeks on Wednesday.
