After baby I cannot wait to........ Pt 2

I was searching through the archives and found this little gem we started back in September ( that seems like FOREVER ago)
So, now that it's getting closer to D day, I thought we could bring this back...

Good gracious! I cannot breathe! Sitting, standing, laying- I'm panting like a dog in heat!!

I love you sweet child of mine, but, let my lungs have their space back. K.thanks.

  • I also can't wait to breathe! And just bend over and pick up something!
  • Sleep on my stomach and back! I am especially excited to not feel any pain from my spd!
  • Move my legs without pain from SPD. And be able to pick up my 3 year old again.
  • Eat whatever I want...I have GD, ugh!!!
  • Get my body back and have the energy to go to the gym more than twice a week!!

    I went to the OB yesterday after she measured and listened to baby's heartbeat I tried to sit up.. I was struggling she looked at me and was "uhm are you ok?" Me "oh yeah, don't worry it's getting harder to get up...and you know...breathe"

    I feel like me trying to sit up is the equivalent to a 500lb person trying to do sit-ups. That much struggle.
  • I second the sitting up. DH laughs at me trying to get off the couch because I have to rock back to get momentum and usually a grunting noise escapes.

    I can't wait to sleep without an assemblage of pillows and be able to sleep on my back, stomach, and right side (if I do that now I get wicked heartburn)
    For some reason, I can't wait to just suck my stomach in! I used to do pilates and miss being able to draw in my core.
    Basically can't wait to have a general feeling of control over my body again.
  • To not have acid reflux, be able to bend any which way, energy, and to get in shape
  • @carlyhammond and @ccoleeman the only thing is I am having a RCS so I know having the baby is not going to make sitting up any easier, for at least a week.

  • To get out of hospital! I have gestational diabetes and pre eclampsia. Stuck in here til baby arrives and slowly going crazy. Baby needs to cook a bit longer so we're in the right place but I want my own bed.
  • I miss sleeping on my stomach so much!

    Also, sex. Sure we've still been enjoying it but I'll feel much sexier once I don't have a bump in the way. :blush:
  • Echoing a lot of PP here, but: good sex, not being so emotional, being able to breathe, being able to sleep on my stomach, getting back to my normal workouts at the gym, super hot baths, wine and champagne, and ALL of the sushi.  Oh this all sounds so wonderful!  :)
  • Leaving the bathroom! I feel like I should just move in there these past few weeks..
  • @nelsk65 - Yesterday I seriously was fantasizing about moving my desk into one of the giant stalls in our work bathroom.  It would just make sense at this point.
  • Sleep on my stomach! But I plan to breast feed so that's out.
  • Take long walks with my dog! I don't have the energy for 3 miles in the woods at her favorite trail anymore :( the jogging / off roading stroller will be getting good use!
  • Breathe! I'm always put of breathe! Also, put on socks/shoes with ease, hold my son again without all the discomfort, get up and down on the floor without trouble to play with my son, and mimosas! :) during football season we do mimosa Sunday's and I'm looking forward to having one after Lo arrives....told the hubs to sneak one into the hospital for me lol hey after labor we deserve it right? :)
  • Drink sangria and eat alllll the baked goods (I have GD)

  • Sleep, be comfortable in any position, bend over, drink alcohol, get up quickly, walk without waddling, have great sex, have energy, breath, have ankles again, steaming hot baths, to be able to shave all body parts without assistance, paint my toe nails, wear rings (hands are fat), get back into my normal clothes, not need the toilet every 20 mins! (The list feels endless at the moment) But most of all cuddle and smell my little baby once he/she arrives. 5 weeks left
  • Liquor. I'd like to FEEL sexy again... maybe the liquor will help with that too? Then maybe I'd be more interested in actually having sex? (Then again, I think with these 2 babies a year apart, SO might be sleeping in the garage!) I'd like to sleep on my stomach. I want to sleep without getting up 73 times to pee! And my goodness, I want this sciatic pain to go away! So done.
  • Don't feel bad, I feel the same like it's exhausting like what in the world...
  • Sleep on my tummy, put my socks & shoes on without assistance or laying on my back trying to get my knees on either side of my tummy, breathe, have a normal amount of energy back (all I ever want to do is sleep!), have a glass of wine every once in a while, play with my 2 older kids, fit into regular clothes again...the list goes on and on lol. I love my little baby but let truth be told the last 2 months of this pregnancy has been a struggle! From simply breathing to tackling house chores it's been exhausting. I can't bend over to do anything, putting my shoes on is an obstacle course in it self lol. (TMI COMING THROUGH!!!) Shaving my cha-cha is now impossible due to no visibility or flexibility to reach that far...I'll just stop there. I just can't wait to hold my baby and get myself back in action. 5 weeks to go!
  • I can't wait to be able to.... Bend over, tie my own shoe, take a shower comfortably, look down and see all of my body, (I can't see past my belly button if you know what I mean) Shave my own legs .. And just go to a nice restaurant with my Fiancé and have an exquisite meal and a nice drink. I miss those days. Seems like forever. Just one, fruity, tasty, alcoholic beverage lol
  • Pop my back! Stretching used to cause my back to pop almost daily and it felt amazing. My back has popped maybe 3 times since becoming pregnant. I miss twisting, bending and really stretching!!
  • Haha im laughing at all the post that say they can't wait to have caffeine or coffee. I drink one cup of coffee a day still. It's okay tho, my baby will just come out with rolls.

    I cannot wait to be able to sleep on my stomach again! Not being able to sleep comfortably is a pain, so it will be nice to have that again.
  • Drink, sleep on my stomach, tie my own shoes and NOT BE IN PAIN!

    Lay on my stomach/back, have full control of my bladder, not get so easily worn out, and drink ALL THE COFFEEE! Hahaha. I work at Starbucks and it's so hard to resist every day!
