I am currently 12 weeks and 3 days pregnant and it's been four days since I had an unfortunate case of PROM.and my little pickle is still fighting and hanging in there, we have been told that we should get ready to say goodbye and that we have to wait for our baby To die and then by another doctor that we have a chance of survival I don't know what to think. Finding it hard to be strong and carry on

All is not lost.

I remember being told by the doctor with my son I was defiantly suffering a loss and that I should take a pill asap that would help me reabsorb the baby (they were convinced I miscarrying a tubal baby). Had I done that I would not have my beautiful 2 year old little boy today. It was pretty early on and a very different scenario however my point is the same none the less. Nobody knows what will happen but nobody can say for certain it will. I know its easier said than done but do your best to relax. Tell your baby how much you love him/her and let your little know know your willing to fight as long he or she is. Im sending thoughts and prayers your way.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I have also suffered a miscarriage and know how devastating it is. I suggest counselling and checking out the pregnancy loss/miscarriage boards, as both were helpful for me. Just know that the pain of the loss doesn't go away but it does get better. I hope you find some peace and that you get your rainbow baby soon.
