Hi August moms!

To help us keep track of due dates, comment below with yours and I'll put it all into a spreadsheet that we can update as we find out the sex.

I'm assuming she has no idea how to calculate a due date and probably found out on 11/24th and just added 9 months from there.

Can I be added to the list for August?

Here's the issue I am having calculating my due date. My LMP was the first week of October when I was still taking Alesse. I stopped taking my pack around October 13th as I had messed up so many and had missed four. Fast forward to November 17th... took a test and it was negative. Then, decided to take another test on November 24th because I just felt a little odd and off. It was positive. Double checked again the next morning with a Clearblue Digital and it said 1-2 weeks. According to their instructions, a doctor would probably date that 3-4 weeks. I went to the doctor on Thursday where they confirmed that their test was positive too. We're just having a hard time guessing when conception occurred because I never had a period between when I stopped the pill and when I became pregnant. The doctor is going to order an earlier ultrasound so we can try to figure out this mystery, but I am definitely thinking it will be early August.

Has anyone had a similar experience or have any guidance?

My husband and I are going back and forth about finding out the gender. I want to but he wants a surprise.

Even if others have had a similar experience it means nothing for you. Everyone is different. The dating ultrasound will give you an Edd but keep in mind it may vary by a couple days during the first several weeks if you get multiple ultrasounds. Really no one can tell you anything then wait for your doctor to do the ultrasound.

Thank you! Trying to patiently wait is the hardest part. This will be our first and we are new to everything. I've been a worried mess and trying to become more patient and less stressed.

8/7/16 is our estimated due date!! We are definitely finding out the sex.

EDD is 8/3 based on LMP. Not sure if we are going to find out if the baby is a boy or girl yet-- DH is leaning toward no, but I kind of want to know in case it's a boy (since we have a girl, then we can get the things we need).
