  • Month/Cycle: 4/4

    CD/DPO: 25/11

    Timing: -2, -1, 0

    Testing: Just waiting for AF

R/R/CS: BFN and big temp drop today. Womp womp. I expected it, but still a huge bummer. Last night I put vodka in my Starburst Cherry Freeze (yeah, Taco Bell) in anticipation of it and I'm glad I did. Let's keep the drunk train rolling.

GTKY: Which food would you banish from your Thanksgiving (or other holiday if you don't celebrate it) table forever? Cranberry "sauce" in a can. So, so gross.

@Hummingbird125 The only thing that may be a little off is a positive OPK the same day as O, but it can happen. Otherwise the CHs look good to me. I'm not an expert, though. Sorry about the BFN.

R/R/CS: Just waiting for AF. I feel her coming. Long cycles suck. Fx I don't have to wait another 23-25 days to O next cycle. Oh, and Fx that H isn't a twat and gets on board with actually having sex more often during FW.

GTKY: Which food would you banish from your Thanksgiving (or other holiday if you don't celebrate it) table forever? Um....if I'm being honest here.... the turkey. I'm vegetarian ;)

  • @chrlyr - thank you for looking!

And I agree with you about the canned cranberry sauce. I've never even tasted it but it just looks gross to me - this year, I volunteered to bring homemade cranberry sauce to my mom's house and I made it last night. SO GOOD. Why does anyone eat the canned stuff when the real thing is so easy to make?!

  • @chrlyr Ugh, sorry about the BFN and temp drop. Glad you enjoyed that vodka, that actually sounds delicious.

@Hummingbird125 I think your CHs look good, the only other place I would maybe think would be CD37? That would put you only at 10DPO. Sorry about the BFN, but fx your CHs are a little off and it's earlier than you think. Last month my temps were so high, I had my hopes up just to be crushed, so I know the feeling. But you aren't officially out yet!

  • Month/Cycle:  2/2

    CD/DPO: 17/3

Timing: None - benched during FW after polyp removal

    Testing: None

R/R/CS: Still super bummed out that my polyp removal was right before my FW and had zero chances at making a baby this cycle.  At least there will be no TWW anxiety or confusion over whether to drink over the holidays!  I'm glad I stuck with temping and using OPKs, I feel like I'm learning a lot about my body.  I even got my crosshairs! Of course this is only my third cycle off of BCP, so it could very well change again, but I'm starting to feel more positive about my body regulating now.  And as much as it sucks, I'm glad the polyp was removed.  It kind of kills the mood for BDing if you're bleeding everywhere during (sorry TMI!).  Now I just want to get this cycle over with so that we can really give it a good shot next time!  I'm curious whether my cycle will be 25 days like last month, or different again.

GTKY: Which food would you banish from your Thanksgiving (or other holiday if you don't celebrate it) table forever?  My extended family and my in-laws are from the midwest, and they are all generally good cooks, but lets just say they call things "salad" that should never be called that.  If it has marshmallows or jello or mayonnaise, it is NOT a salad!

    Month/Cycle: 5/5

    Timing: -1x2, O

Testing: tested agin this morning. Another squinter I think but....

R/R/CS: I've been peeing directly onto wondfos. Would this yield false positives? I'm too lazy to do the whole cup thing but now I wish I had with my FMU this morning .. I definitely see a slight slight squinter darker than yesterday's squinter but I can't be sure. It's still really light and I may have peed over the "max" line. Any experience with false positives on wondfos doing this?

  • @ReadyforaB - No idea - I don't THINK that PDOAS (D=directly :-) ) should yeild false positives, but I think the "official" instructions are to PIAC, so if you're not following the instructions, your results may not be accurate. If I were you, I would prob PIAC later today!

  • @ReadyforaB -- I'd definitely suggest holding your pee and peeing in a cup. If you get another squinter, then maybe you're okay to pee directly on the stick, but I know I'd be worried about peeing over the max line. Because I've peed on sticks, and even with the huge pee-soaker-spot-thing, I still have moments where I manage to pee above that, haha.

Dinner rolls. They are just filler. No need for that on turkey day!!!

  • Hate it when I forget my chart
  • @Hummingbird125 so sorry for your bfn but I agree your chart looks great so good luck!!

I think your crosshairs look perfect, it's a steady rise after them. Why did someone suggest they weren't accurate? When did they think you might have ovulated??
  • @AndiPandi127 I took a look at your chart and I see what you mean. Your temps are still above te cover line though and your initial rise is big so I think you're in good shape. I don't personally put much stock in implantation dips. I think it's the equivalent to SS your chart and 5 dpo is really early for implantation but you never know.

Its bland, slightly green bean flavored, goo with fried onions. It is also the one thing my in-laws suggested when I asked if there was anything they wanted me to make.  NOPE! :naughty:

    CD/DPO: 24/6

    Timing: -4, -2

Testing: FF says wait until CD31 but I have an average 28 days cycle. Since I ovulate late into the cycle (CD18, like it has been for the past 5 months), should I start testing on CD28 instead?
I attached my chart for all to see.

    R/R/CS: See above

GTKY: Which food would you banish from your Thanksgiving (or other holiday if you don't celebrate it) table forever?
Marshmallows on top of sweet potatoes. Love sweet potatoes, baked marshmallows on top? Who even randomly decided to do that once upon a time? Yuck.

Testing: Tomorrow when FF shows AF is to appear also to know whether to drink or not :)

R/R/CS:  Very happy today's my Friday and that the bloat/cramps of the last few days has finally subsided - that was getting annoying.   Ready for some fun and festive time with the family - also like Black Friday (I'm a people watcher) so can't wait for that day with Mom.

Thank you for looking! I PROMISE I wasn't thinking it is an implant dip - I was more thinking it was on a steady decline. I agree- not stock worth buying. Thank you for the reassurance, I am apparently an AW this morning. Ah!

@PennStateCait - Hello and welcome! It's kind of a personal preference - CD 28 makes you 10 DPO, which is early but not unreasonable for testing. I know a lot of ladies start testing ahead of when FF says, it's so hard to wait! It just depends on how stressful getting a BFN is for you - some people don't like seeing them day after day so only test when they feel confident the answer is final.

    Month/Cycle: 5/5

    CD/DPO: 26/11

    Timing: good

Testing: BFN today, will keep testing till I really know AF is here

R/R/CS: Same as my rant yesterday.  I didn't temp this cycle, but I did today and it was just above what my normal cover line is. For this reason I think AF has not started but it is the worst spotting ever.  I fear next cycle will be really off, I will need to temp again and start opks way early.  Well I'm going to drive home, meet up with friends for the annual Turkey Trot "It's not a bar crawl, it's a pilgrimage", and enjoy my parent's hot tub.

GTKY: Which food would you banish from your Thanksgiving (or other holiday if you don't celebrate it) table forever?  I do not like cranberry sauce and pies.  And literally everything my in-laws make, the stuffing looks like mushy cat vomit.
  • Month/Cycle: 6/5

    CD/DPO: 32/8

    Timing: -2, -1, O, +1, +2

Testing: BFN this morning... I was expecting that but it did hit me like a ton of bricks (this is usually why I just wait until AF is planned to show). Now holding out until at least Sunday or Monday

R/R/CS: Stressed! I love the holidays in terms of the time I get off for work, but the stress of traveling and seeing family nearly kills me every year. I'm hoping that once I'm with family and things are more "planned" for our tailgating party on Saturday I'll start feeling less stressed about everything. Need to remember to just take a deep breath and relax... :|

GTKY: Which food would you banish from your Thanksgiving (or other holiday if you don't celebrate it) table forever?
Green bean casserole. Not a fan of it - I've tried it when I was little, hated it; tried again when I was older, still hated it; and tried it last year just to see if maybe I would find some love for this dish... nope, still can't stand it. I'm sorry for all the green bean casserole lovers out there, I've tried.

  • @PennStateCait welcome, if this is your first cycle charting, FF will put in a default 14 day LP. If you ovulate consistently on cd18 but have a 28 day cycle you probably have a short LP (you can search that on the board, there have been lots of discussions in the past). Most people ignore the FF suggested test date. Many start testing around 10dpo, knowing that this is very early and they you might get a lot of bfn at first.

So it's up to you, if you can handle seeing negative tests, feel free to test early. If the disappointment is too hard on you, wait until after AF is late and you're more likely to get a strong positive if you are, in fact, pregnant.

R/R/CS: Last day of work before a 4 day holiday weekend! I cannot wait. Hopefully I can sneak out of here a little early today but we'll see. My job has a funny way of leaving you with nothing to do until the moment you're trying to walk out the door.

GTKY: Which food would you banish from your Thanksgiving (or other holiday if you don't celebrate it) table forever? Thankfully my family doesn't do the cranberry sauce. I do come from a Polish family and regardless of the holiday we always have cold polish sausage available for dinner. I could definitely do without that.
