Testing: BFN just now. I guess I'll be testing ED until AF.
R/R/CS: I temped before I went to go POAS this morning, and seeing yet ANOTHER small rise just made me too confident. Seeing that BFN felt like a slap in the face. I feel like my chart is playing a cruel joke on me.
Someone mentioned a few days ago that they didn't agree with my CH's - if anyone wants to take a look, tell me if you think my CH's are right? Or where you think they should be? I basically stopped tracking everything but temp once I got those CH's...
GTKY: Salad! It has no place on a Thanksgiving table! Even as an adult I'm always pressured to "just take a little!" But it takes up valuable space on my plate, and for that, I hate it.
R/R/CS: I think I'm going to take a few days off from temping over the holiday weekend. Hope everyone has a nice Thanksgiving if you celebrate it! And a nice Thursday if you don't!

@Hummingbird125 The only thing that may be a little off is a positive OPK the same day as O, but it can happen. Otherwise the CHs look good to me. I'm not an expert, though. Sorry about the BFN.
R/R/CS: Just waiting for AF. I feel her coming. Long cycles suck. Fx I don't have to wait another 23-25 days to O next cycle. Oh, and Fx that H isn't a twat and gets on board with actually having sex more often during FW.
GTKY: Which food would you banish from your Thanksgiving (or other holiday if you don't celebrate it) table forever? Um....if I'm being honest here.... the turkey. I'm vegetarian
And I agree with you about the canned cranberry sauce. I've never even tasted it but it just looks gross to me - this year, I volunteered to bring homemade cranberry sauce to my mom's house and I made it last night. SO GOOD. Why does anyone eat the canned stuff when the real thing is so easy to make?!
@chrlyr Ugh, sorry about the BFN and temp drop. Glad you enjoyed that vodka, that actually sounds delicious.
@Hummingbird125 I think your CHs look good, the only other place I would maybe think would be CD37? That would put you only at 10DPO. Sorry about the BFN, but fx your CHs are a little off and it's earlier than you think. Last month my temps were so high, I had my hopes up just to be crushed, so I know the feeling. But you aren't officially out yet!

Timing: None - benched during FW after polyp removal
Testing: None
R/R/CS: Still super bummed out that my polyp removal was right before my FW and had zero chances at making a baby this cycle. At least there will be no TWW anxiety or confusion over whether to drink over the holidays! I'm glad I stuck with temping and using OPKs, I feel like I'm learning a lot about my body. I even got my crosshairs! Of course this is only my third cycle off of BCP, so it could very well change again, but I'm starting to feel more positive about my body regulating now. And as much as it sucks, I'm glad the polyp was removed. It kind of kills the mood for BDing if you're bleeding everywhere during (sorry TMI!). Now I just want to get this cycle over with so that we can really give it a good shot next time! I'm curious whether my cycle will be 25 days like last month, or different again.
GTKY: Which food would you banish from your Thanksgiving (or other holiday if you don't celebrate it) table forever? My extended family and my in-laws are from the midwest, and they are all generally good cooks, but lets just say they call things "salad" that should never be called that. If it has marshmallows or jello or mayonnaise, it is NOT a salad!
Testing: tested agin this morning. Another squinter I think but....
R/R/CS: I've been peeing directly onto wondfos. Would this yield false positives? I'm too lazy to do the whole cup thing but now I wish I had with my FMU this morning .. I definitely see a slight slight squinter darker than yesterday's squinter but I can't be sure. It's still really light and I may have peed over the "max" line. @chrlyr I look forward to trying your booze magic in the future.
R/R/CS: Hooray for Wednesday! I'm attaching my chart link below - I think it's drunk. I think it may fall into the ambiguous category as far as FF chart types, but I'm already wondering if the two-day decrease is a sign that this is not our month.
GTKY: Which food would you banish from your Thanksgiving (or other holiday if you don't celebrate it) table forever? Mushroom gravy. Blech.
@ReadyforaB - No idea - I don't THINK that PDOAS (D=directly :-) ) should yeild false positives, but I think the "official" instructions are to PIAC, so if you're not following the instructions, your results may not be accurate. If I were you, I would prob PIAC later today!
@ReadyforaB -- I'd definitely suggest holding your pee and peeing in a cup. If you get another squinter, then maybe you're okay to pee directly on the stick, but I know I'd be worried about peeing over the max line. Because I've peed on sticks, and even with the huge pee-soaker-spot-thing, I still have moments where I manage to pee above that, haha.

@Hummingbird125 so sorry for your bfn but I agree your chart looks great so good luck!!
I think your crosshairs look perfect, it's a steady rise after them. Why did someone suggest they weren't accurate? When did they think you might have ovulated??
@AndiPandi127 I took a look at your chart and I see what you mean. Your temps are still above te cover line though and your initial rise is big so I think you're in good shape. I don't personally put much stock in implantation dips. I think it's the equivalent to SS your chart and 5 dpo is really early for implantation but you never know.
R/R/CS: Will someone please inform my husband that it is not funny to respond to every thing I say with "that means your pregnant right?" Because I'm about to murder him and that will just make it even harder to make a baby...
GTKY: Which food would you banish from your Thanksgiving (or other holiday if you don't celebrate it) table forever? Green Bean Casserole, it doesn't taste like anything. GTKY: Which food would you banish from your Thanksgiving (or other holiday if you don't celebrate it) table forever? Gravy!!! I have never understood the need for it and the taste just makes me cringe.
Thank you for looking! I PROMISE I wasn't thinking it is an implant dip - I was more thinking it was on a steady decline. I agree- not stock worth buying. Thank you for the reassurance, I am apparently an AW this morning. Ah!
@PennStateCait - Hello and welcome! It's kind of a personal preference - CD 28 makes you 10 DPO, which is early but not unreasonable for testing. I know a lot of ladies start testing ahead of when FF says, it's so hard to wait! It just depends on how stressful getting a BFN is for you - some people don't like seeing them day after day so only test when they feel confident the answer is final.
R/R/CS: Nothing really at the moment. If I am not pg this cycle we are doing a medicated IUI cycle for next time so I am anxious to get that started.
GTKY: Which food would you banish from your Thanksgiving (or other holiday if you don't celebrate it) table forever? Cranberry sauce, sweet potato anything, and gravy. Blah.

Testing: BFN today, will keep testing till I really know AF is here
R/R/CS: Same as my rant yesterday. I didn't temp this cycle, but I did today and it was just above what my normal cover line is. For this reason I think AF has not started but it is the worst spotting ever. I fear next cycle will be really off, I will need to temp again and start opks way early. Well I'm going to drive home, meet up with friends for the annual Turkey Trot "It's not a bar crawl, it's a pilgrimage", and enjoy my parent's hot tub.
GTKY: Which food would you banish from your Thanksgiving (or other holiday if you don't celebrate it) table forever? I do not like cranberry sauce and pies. And literally everything my in-laws make, the stuffing looks like mushy cat vomit.
*Lurking from WTO* Can I just say that some of yall's posts today are seriously making me laugh out loud at work? @chrlyr - you are genius. Reminds me of high school days when we would go to Sonic and get slushies and hide vodka in water bottles and then mix it when we got to a dancehall.
@LittleMissTimeLord - you raise a very good question. I want a TB jacket or maybe a TB watch.
@FerdieFox - yes....murdering would make it harder to get KU. My husband wont let me eat a damn pickle with out saying "oh so that means your pregnant". I feel like telling him.."oh, your right honey, let me just tell this tampon that I have in right now that it was a false alarm"...bless their hearts.
ETA: @jhems776 mushy cat vomit....I couldn't have described it any better.
Testing: BFN this morning... I was expecting that but it did hit me like a ton of bricks (this is usually why I just wait until AF is planned to show). Now holding out until at least Sunday or Monday
R/R/CS: Stressed! I love the holidays in terms of the time I get off for work, but the stress of traveling and seeing family nearly kills me every year. I'm hoping that once I'm with family and things are more "planned" for our tailgating party on Saturday I'll start feeling less stressed about everything. Need to remember to just take a deep breath and relax...
GTKY: Which food would you banish from your Thanksgiving (or other holiday if you don't celebrate it) table forever?
Green bean casserole. Not a fan of it - I've tried it when I was little, hated it; tried again when I was older, still hated it; and tried it last year just to see if maybe I would find some love for this dish... nope, still can't stand it. I'm sorry for all the green bean casserole lovers out there, I've tried.
@PennStateCait welcome, if this is your first cycle charting, FF will put in a default 14 day LP. If you ovulate consistently on cd18 but have a 28 day cycle you probably have a short LP (you can search that on the board, there have been lots of discussions in the past). Most people ignore the FF suggested test date. Many start testing around 10dpo, knowing that this is very early and they you might get a lot of bfn at first.
So it's up to you, if you can handle seeing negative tests, feel free to test early. If the disappointment is too hard on you, wait until after AF is late and you're more likely to get a strong positive if you are, in fact, pregnant.
R/R/CS: Last day of work before a 4 day holiday weekend! I cannot wait. Hopefully I can sneak out of here a little early today but we'll see. My job has a funny way of leaving you with nothing to do until the moment you're trying to walk out the door.
GTKY: Which food would you banish from your Thanksgiving (or other holiday if you don't celebrate it) table forever? Thankfully my family doesn't do the cranberry sauce. I do come from a Polish family and regardless of the holiday we always have cold polish sausage available for dinner. I could definitely do without that.
@AndiPandi127 and @0SeaMonkey0- Thanks for the advice! I think I will start testing at 10 dpo, this wait is killing me. I'll keep testing til AF. I have lots of wondfos so why not.
I did research my borderline short LP, wishing it was longer but hoping it's long enough to get something to stick.
@AndiPandi127 I would guess that that is a fallback rise.
Month/Cycle: 3/3
CD/DPO: 25/10

R/R/CS: Still feeling sick and now my husband is also sick. Yay.
GTKY: Which food would you banish from your Thanksgiving (or other holiday if you don't celebrate it) table forever? Someone mentioned jello salad and I would have to agree with that. I like my plain jello with just whipped cream, thank you very much. But my husband LOVES jello salad, so of course we will always have it.
@BooksforMe23@halesh5 Haha, thanks for the high praise. You really can't go wrong with booze + slushie. I have experimented with various slushies (Slurpee, Sonic, etc.) and Taco Bell's freezes perform the best. My methods are super scientific, obviously.
@BooksForMe23 - FX for a shorter cycle for you as well.
@blonde1817 - that really sucks, sorry! But yay for polyp removal and less blood next cycle.
@ReadyForaB - yes, I think that could significantly alter your test— both using it midstream and peeing over the max line, actually. If you’re not going to use a cup, then go out and get an actual midstream and retest tomorrow. FX that it is still a BFP.
@FerdieFox - Oh, I’m soooooo sorry your husband is saying that! I’d be murderous too!
@PennStateCait - Only you can decide when to test. If you decide to test early, just prepare yourself for the fact that you’re more likely to see a BFN (even if you were to then see a BFP later).
@nwegman7878 - FX that you manage to cut out early!
@bcooke314 - Ugh, sorry to hear that you’re sick! FX that you feel better soon!
To everyone who posts after this, I'll try to get back on later, but I honestly have SO MUCH cooking to do today as prep, so I'm not so sure I'll make it back on!

CD/DPO: 27/9
Timing: -3, -1
Testing: Still haven't decided.
Its bland, slightly green bean flavored, goo with fried onions. It is also the one thing my in-laws suggested when I asked if there was anything they wanted me to make. NOPE!
Month/Cycle: 1/1
CD/DPO: 24/6
Timing: -4, -2
Testing: FF says wait until CD31 but I have an average 28 days cycle. Since I ovulate late into the cycle (CD18, like it has been for the past 5 months), should I start testing on CD28 instead?
I attached my chart for all to see.
R/R/CS: See above
GTKY: Which food would you banish from your Thanksgiving (or other holiday if you don't celebrate it) table forever?
Dx: Both tubes blocked, PCOS, DOR, RPL
IVF Cycle #1 Dec. 2016 - 11R·11M·5F - Transferred 2 - BFP - Miscarriage - 0 Embryos Left
CD/DPO: 19/3
Timing: -4, -3, -2, -1, 0
Testing: Waiting for AF
R/R/CS: I'm so happy I got my CH before Thanksgiving! I also feel really good about our timing!
GTKY: Green bean casserole and canned cranberry sauce!
CD/DPO: 30/9
Timing:-2
Testing: Tomorrow when FF shows AF is to appear also to know whether to drink or not
R/R/CS: Very happy today's my Friday and that the bloat/cramps of the last few days has finally subsided - that was getting annoying. Ready for some fun and festive time with the family - also like Black Friday (I'm a people watcher) so can't wait for that day with Mom.
GTKY: Which food would you banish from your Thanksgiving (or other holiday if you don't celebrate it) table forever? Gravy!!! I have never understood the need for it and the taste just makes me cringe.
CD/DPO: 22/10
Timing: 0, +1
Testing: waiting for AF.
Blah.

CD/DPO: 26/11
Timing: good
Testing: BFN today, will keep testing till I really know AF is here
R/R/CS: Same as my rant yesterday.
Can I just say that some of yall's posts today are seriously making me laugh out loud at work?
Y'all have a happy Thanksgiving!!

CD/DPO: 32/8
Timing: -2, -1, O, +1, +2

Someone mentioned jello salad and I would have to agree with that. I like my plain jello with just whipped cream, thank you very much. But my husband LOVES jello salad, so of course we will always have it.
@chrlyr -
*hugs* enjoy all the booze! BFF and I used to put vodka in slurpees, it’s the best! (as long as you store your vodka in the freezer first)
@Hummingbird125 - O date looks good to me, but I’m new at this! Sorry for your BFN.
@sldp123 - enjoy your temping vacation!
@KDHB13 - FX for a shorter cycle next cycle.
@LittleMissTimeLord - I think the “points” are dumb too!
@AndiPandi127 - I’m really not sure. I think the general rule of thumb is that as long as it stays above cover, you’re fine.
@severmilli12 - FX that you feel better soon!
@sarah0985 - sorry your chart is crazy this month. I can definitely relate, and it’s super frustrating!
@0SeaMonkey0 -
*hugs*
@FerdieFox - Oh, I’m soooooo sorry your husband is saying that! I’d be murderous too!
@PennStateCait - Only you can decide when to test. If you decide to test early, just prepare yourself for the fact that you’re more likely to see a BFN (even if you were to then see a BFP later).
@FrancesGrace630 - you should feel good about that timing!
@LakeR2014 - FX for your testing tomorrow.
@MEA0320 - Sorry for the BFN and the stress!
