I think most people just assume the baby is healthy, and I mean, they're not going to come up to you and ask if your baby's healthy....
That being said, it's SUPER annoying! But they're just making conversation. But I especially hate the "do you want a boy or a girl?" question. How do you answer that!? I just say "both."
I get what your saying, but some people just don't know what else to say to pregnant ladies (in regard to talking About their pregnancy). The sex of the baby seems to just be the standard, go-to subject. They're not doing it to be annoying so I don't really see it as a negative. However- unsolicited belly rubs are definitely a big no-no! I've always been self conscious about my stomach so I'm not down with people touching it!

Totally agree. People are just trying to be nice and show an interest. Bump rubbing is a big no no for me too! But I'm only touchy feely with people I know really well!
