Thanksgiving was last month. We stayed home and MIL came here for a few days. I can't have turkey without stuffing. I could actually take or leave the turkey, just give me the stuffing!!
Testing Plans: I had lofty aspirations of waiting until 11dpo. Ha. I'm starting tomorrow.

Temp rebounded today after yesterday's dip. Looking okay, but temps aren't that high.
GTKY: Are you traveling or staying local for Thanksgiving? What's your favorite turkey day food? Our families are local, so basically we eat twice. Yum. My favorite is mashed potatoes and gravy.

GTKY: staying local this year and having my relatives from Ohio over my moms house! Should be fun, I miss them and they are awesome people.
This group helped me an unbelievable amount! I had no idea about charting and I read the impatient woman and taking charge of your fertility. Had I not read either book I would have missed my O. My cycles range from 30-45 days and are affected hardcore by stress and running, so I needed to figure out what was going on. Anyway, this group is amazingly supportive and I couldn't imagine getting through trying to figure this all out without it!!! Super excited and hope to stay 9 months in the July or August BMB!! FF says July 31.. So we will see! Hope everyone has a happy Friday, TGIF!!
R/R/CS: My temps keep rising! Hoping that means a nice healthy egg was released.
GTKY: Are you traveling or staying local for Thanksgiving? What's your favorite turkey day food? We stay local. Luckily, both of our immediate families live in the area. We will be with my side this year as we alternate. I am SO looking forward to my grandmother's stuffing!
R/R/CS: I find myself extra frustrated by the special snowflake new discussion posts lately. I don't get it. I really don't. When I signed up for the forums and was told to read the newb threads, I did. In big part because the three-day wait forced me to. I don't understand what these people do for that waiting period. Particularly for the drive-by posters. If you need to ask Internet strangers if you're ovulating or pregnant or if your spotting is a bad sign, WHY WOULD YOU WAIT THREE DAYS TO ASK? Why wouldn't you roll over to Yahoo Answers or one of the 18 billion other pregnancy forums? I don't get people.
In better news, I have a friend coming to town for a long weekend and I'm crazy excited to see her and for the distraction.
GTKY: We are staying at our apartment just the two of us. We moved to a new state earlier this year and I made it clear that our first holidays in the new state we were staying at our own place. Not trying to be a dick, we've just been trying to move for years and I wanted us to enjoy the holidays in our own space. Our families know they're welcome to visit but no one is coming to see us.
My favorite Thanksgiving food is stuffing. Hands down. Followed closely by mashed potatoes. It's all about the sides. Turkey is just kind of meh to me, I don't get the hooplah.
Testing Plans: Wanting to hold out until after Thanksgiving (11/26) but DH is asking me to test on Wednesday so I might end up caving and testing on Wed.
R/R/CS: Yay! CH showed up today - a nice welcome to the weekend Now starts the time where I check my chart every 5 minutes as if it's going to tell me all the magical secrets of the world.
GTKY: Are you traveling or staying local for Thanksgiving? What's your favorite turkey day food?
Traveling to see family in Michigan this year - my in-laws will also be joining my big family Thanksgiving this year so they are not alone for the weekend. We're also going to the Michigan vs OSU game as a huge family group so it should be a great time catching up with everyone (cousins coming in from the UK, Seattle and Spain...it will be good to catch up).
Favorite food for Thanksgiving - stuffing, hands down (but I actually love all the traditional food - even a good cranberry sauce).
Testing Plans: BFN this morning, I know it's early but with the weekend and drinking I wanted to check
**do temps normally stay high even with spotting? Last month was my first time temping and my temp dropped way down when I started spotting which happened yesterday but stayed elevated. Trying not to read into it, just don't have enough of my own history to go by!
R/R/CS: Just TGIF, I'm so sick of work drama
GTKY: Are you traveling or staying local for Thanksgiving? What's your favorite turkey day food? Staying in town, will be with in laws for Thursday. It's all better leftover in a sandwich!!!
Testing Plans: Day before Thanksgiving, which will be 12 DPO.
R/R/CS: Well over the course of this cycle (my first one charting), I've gone from thinking my body just didn't work right and I would never O, to being super happy with how my chart looks. I can't help looking at it several times a day. I feel like, even though I've been telling myself that our timing wasn't good and chances for a BFP are slim, I'm going to feel SO bummed out whenever I wake up and see a temp drop.
GTKY: Are you traveling or staying local for Thanksgiving? What's your favorite turkey day food? Just traveling an hour away to my mom's house! I love ALL Thanksgiving food, but this year I'm in charge of the stuffing, so I'm going to go ahead and say that will be my favorite this time around :-)
R/R/CS: Ovia so kindly told me this morning that if I were to conceive this cycle, my due date would be the same week that would have been my Dad's 60th birthday. I know the chances are insanely small, but it took me by surprise and now I'm over here like:
GTKY: Are you traveling or staying local for Thanksgiving? What's your favorite turkey day food? Local, all the family lives here more or less. Uhm.... we are ham people.
R/R/CS: I'm pretty sure I'm out this cycle. My boobs are really sore, but I think that's just AF. I got super sweaty yesterday at yoga, which is usually another lovely AF sign.
GTKY: Are you traveling or staying local for Thanksgiving? What's your favorite turkey day food? We're going to new england! Hopping on a plane tomorrow! Favorite food is....oh man, a forkful that incldues a piece of turkey, mashed potatoes and stuffing on it.
Due with rainbow rainbow rainbow baby on 9/29/17 It's been a long road- Let's just say that!
Timing: -3, -2, -1 (if I'm right about the day...)
Testing Plans: I was going to wait till 11 DPO, but eh I'll probably start Sunday at 8 DPO
R/R/CS: Same old stuffs....
GTKY: Are you traveling or staying local for Thanksgiving? What's your favorite turkey day food?
Traveling! Both of our fams are from the same city. My favorite is actually the turkey. I do not like pies of any kind and so dessert is a let down because that is all either side seems to have.

GTKY: Are you traveling or staying local for Thanksgiving? What's your favorite turkey day food? Staying in town, will be with in laws for Thursday. It's all better leftover in a sandwich!!!
It totally depends. Some women's temps don't even drop significantly with AF. If it's the start of AF then yes, your temps could drop. If you have frequent LP spotting, then they should stay high. It's honestly just a tossup and you'll have to learn your body's pattern as you continue charting. Can you link your chart?
Testing plans: Wednesday....but maybe earlier unless AF. I was feeling strong but it's waning.
R/R/CS: just trying to hold out as long as I can for testing and hoping AF stays away!
GTKY: I love thanksgiving. We are hosting thanksgiving at our house with DH family bc I am on call for work so I may have to go in. I love all the carbs...stuffing/dressing, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, pumpkin pie...
Testing Plans: I expected AF to show up every time I went to the bathroom yesterday, and when she didn't, I grabbed a wondfo after an event last night and tested. Unmistakable positive!!!!!! Ran to a 24 hour CVS this morning after another positive wondfo and picked up a FRER, FR digi and Clearblue digi. FRER and Clearblue digi were positive (FR digi was negative). Today, I am pregnant!! I can't even believe it - we had our infertility consult appointment scheduled for Dec 3rd. This cycle I did do some different things than usual: acupuncture, no coffee or alcohol, probiotics. I've been on baby aspirin, vitex, royal jelly, CoQ10, Chromium and L-arginine for a couple months as well.
R/R/CS: crampy and bloated, gassy. No sore boobs. I really did not expect this - no symptom spotting even! I haven't told DH yet. He is flying into DC to spend the weekend here (I've been here all week). I'm going to meet him at the airport when he lands with a sign that says our last name on one side, and then when I see him I'll flip it to the other side which will say Daddy!
GTKY: We always do Thanksgiving with DH's family in upper Michigan. Favorite food: yams/sweet potatoes (it's like candy!)
I have been on the TTGP board since June, and saw many people come and go. I wasn't as active lately because I just couldn't take the newbies BFPs - it never felt like it would be my turn. We had a loss over a year ago just shy of 6 weeks, so I am cautiously optimistic about this one. I hope I won't be back, as much as I loved my time here. Thanks to everyone for your support, information and just being a kick-ass community. Keep the snark alive with the special snowflakes, and drop some serious science!
Hugs to everyone!!!!!

@AL_TwinCities I completely just burst into happy tears for you! Congratulations!
@Belle714 Last month, I started spotting and had a temp drop at 8DPO, then the next three days my temp went way back up with no spotting and I will admit I had a moment of thinking I was a merry IB unicorn until AF came and killed that merriment. Since yours are still high at 10DPO, I think it's a crapshoot...just like everything else around here lol. Hoping it's a good sign for you!
Yay @AL_TwinCities!!! I am so unbelievably happy for you. I have been lurking on the regulars often, and am so happy that you got your BFP. Wishing you a H&H pregnancy!
Testing Plans:Thanksgiving (13DPO) is what I'm hoping to wait till, but I'm getting the itch and I have a ton of tests waiting (bad move on my part) I should have waited to purchase any.
R/R/CS: I'm with @PrettyPalomino on how great charting is. I think it would be so much harder during these months we all go through trying if we weren't able to see some of the science behind it.
GTKY: Are you traveling or staying local for Thanksgiving? What's your favorite turkey day food? We will have both sides of our families at our house for Thanksgiving. (Its pretty much our norm to host holidays and events) I was never a huge turkey fan until we started deep frying them, between the injections and rub, its delish!

R/R/CS: Heading over to WTO. After 52 days AF must have missed me because she's back with a vengeance! Even though I'm bummed I must say I've absolutely loved charting this cycle, it was long and frustrating but knowing exactly what was going on gave me such peace of mind. I'm hooked! Good luck to everyone here, FX for some Thanksgiving babies
GTKY: Are you traveling or staying local for Thanksgiving? What's your favorite turkey day food? Staying home for Thanksgiving and eating all of the stuffing.
Me & DH: 28 Married: September 2011 TTC #1: July 2015
R/R/CS: I thought I would cave and test this morning, but I just didn't buy any tests so I couldn't. Temp still high this morning, but since this is my first cycle temping I'm trying not to get my hopes up. Going OOT and wedding gown shopping with my little sister tomorrow so that will be a fun distraction until I can test on Sunday.
GTKY: Are you traveling or staying local for Thanksgiving? What's your favorite turkey day food? Both our families live nearby so no traveling for us! favorite turkey day food is probably green bean or broccoli casserole.
Testing Plans: Today, at my 3:30pm appt with my midwife.
R/R/CS: I was sure that AF would be here by now. Days of cramps. Sore nipples. Headaches. I guess as soon as you start to try on those shorter cycles, your body throws a curve ball. Last month it was 33 days.
GTKY: Are you traveling or staying local for Thanksgiving? What's your favorite turkey day food? Staying home. I'm cooking. The in-laws are coming. Apparently. My favorite thing is the green bean casserole. I used to hate it as a kid, but now I love it.
@AL_TwinCities Your post made me tear up! So happy for you. Congratulations!
Congrats @KyCade3013! And @AL_TwinCities Congrats! I am so happy for you! Your plan to tell your DH sounds perfect!
@jhems776 and @chrlyr I'm glad to see other early testers lol. Fingers crossed we get early BFPs over the weekend!
@MotherOfDucks good luck today! That would be so exciting for your midwife to come in the room to tell you you're pregnant! Month/Cycle: 6/5
CD/DPO: 21/6
Timing: -3, -1, O
Testing Plans: 8dpo (well, 7dpo to confirm the trigger is gone)
R/R/CS: Tested my trigger this morning and I was happy to see that the test looked negative. Last cycle I went from trigger to BFP (ended in chemical) but I was stressing over if it was real or still the trigger. I was hoping this cycle I would get a clear negative and then (hopefully) a BFP so I would know for sure it was real. So now I'm not sure if I will test tomorrow or not. I figured the line would still be visible at this point so I would test from 6dpo on. Though knowing me, I'll probably test. I have zero willpower! I was also really crampy last night and got my hopes up. I know better than to SS. Yet, I do it to myself every time.
GTKY: Are you traveling or staying local for Thanksgiving? What's your favorite turkey day food? I am so excited that we are only going to one place (my mom's) for Thanksgiving. We usually have 3 places that we need to go. My favorite is mashed potatoes. I am obsessed with the Pioneer Woman's recipe and will be making them to bring.

R/R/CS: So I really hate the scaling on the FF charts. Does anyone know if you can set a custom scale? Small fluctuations look huge with the scale that they have. I also have a paper chart because I can put in custom things without having to pay for an FF subscription and my temp dip today looked like way less to worry about on my paper chart this morning.
GTKY: Are you traveling or staying local for Thanksgiving? What's your favorite turkey day food?
Staying somewhat local - my parents are about an hour and a half drive away. My favorite Thanksgiving food is stuffing
@bcooke314 I kind of think that's the reason behind the sensitive BBT, though - those temperature fluctuations at the hundredths are a big deal depending on where you are in your cycle. From what I've read, it seems like where you are at 5DPO a dip like yours today isn't really indicative of much, but if it went up by that much or down around ovulation or the end of your cycle, it would be indicative of a shift. To answer your question, I don't believe you can change the scale - it gets more or less expansive depending on how high or low your extremes are.

**do temps normally stay high even with spotting? Last month was my first time temping and my temp dropped way down when I started spotting which happened yesterday but stayed elevated. Trying not to
read into it, just don't have enough of my own history to go by!
R/R/CS: Just TGIF, I'm so sick of work drama
GTKY: Are you traveling or staying local for Thanksgiving? What's your favorite turkey day food? Staying in town, will be with in laws for Thursday. It's all better leftover in a sandwich!!!
CD/DPO: 42/7
Timing: -3, 0, +1
CD/DPO: 20/6
Timing: -4, -1
Testing Plans: Not sure yet.
Eta: Cd/20
Congrats @KyCade3013 !
CD/DPO: 28/11
Timing: -4, -1, 0, +1
Testing Plans: BFN this morning. Waiting for AF.
It's been a long road- Let's just say that!
CD/DPO: 21/6
Timing: -3, -2, -1 (if I'm right about the day...)
Testing Plans: I was going to wait till 11 DPO, but eh I'll probably start Sunday at 8 DPO
R/R/CS: Same old stuffs....
GTKY: Are you traveling or staying local for Thanksgiving? What's your favorite turkey day food?
@KyCade3013 congrats!!! Happy and Healthy 9 months!!
Month/cycle: 5/5
CD: 25
Timing: ED
Testing plans: Wednesday....but maybe earlier unless AF. I was feeling strong but it's waning.
R/R/CS: just trying to hold out as long as I can for testing and hoping AF stays away!
GTKY: I love thanksgiving. We are hosting thanksgiving at our house with DH family bc I am on call for work so I may have to go in. I love all the carbs...stuffing/dressing, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, pumpkin pie...
CD/DPO: 29/14
Timing: -3, -1, +1

Yay @AL_TwinCities!!! I am so unbelievably happy for you. I have been lurking on the regulars often, and am so happy that you got your BFP. Wishing you a H&H pregnancy!
CD/DPO:20/7
Timing:-1,0,+1

DS1 -- 9/30/2016
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD/DPO: 25/10
Timing: -4, -2, O
Testing Plans: Sunday Funday (12 DPO)
R/R/CS: I thought I would cave and test this morning, but I just didn't buy any tests so I couldn't. Temp still high this morning, but since this is my first cycle temping I'm trying not to get my hopes up. Going OOT and wedding gown shopping with my little sister tomorrow so that will be a fun distraction until I can test on Sunday.
GTKY: Are you traveling or staying local for Thanksgiving? What's your favorite turkey day food? Both our families live nearby so no traveling for us! favorite turkey day food is probably green bean or broccoli casserole.
CD/DPO: 30/16
Timing: -5, -2, -1, O, +1
Eta: admission of tears

@AL_TwinCities: Congratulations!!!! So happy for you! Your idea for surprising your hubby made me tear up!
