OK, I will go first. I do not get the big deal about most of today's "must see" shows. I did not get OITKB, or any of that. I also do not get this huge thing about FRIENDS.
I tried, I just do not find them that good, or funny.
@PugsandKisses I don't get the thing with Friends, either. Meh.
My UO is that I am still having my cup of coffee each morning and I am perfectly okay with that. Also, screw a healthy diet. I eat what I can stomach every day. It's hard enough doing that!
I hate little dogs, they are like over sized rats especially if they are hairless! If you are going to own a dog get a real dog, lab, German Shepard, Irish Setter, golden retriever etc... I hate the yipping and overcompensation by little dogs. My husbands family had a little thing and it drove me nuts!
My UO has to do with Bump Ettiquette.... I know that its against the rules to post a pregnancy test other than the one board where they allow it, but I don't get the whole freak out when someone unknowingly does so (I'm not saying when they do it to ask if their pregnant bc that is silly) but those that post to say look what I got! Like, bragging about their BFP not knowing its against the rules & everyone freaks on them that OMG YOU PEED ON THAT I DONT WANNA SEE IT... like, we all took a bunch of them, its not like its offensive to see. Idk... I just think everyone needs to take a chill pill, I don't find them offensive, maybe I'm the weirdo!
@ButterMyBiscuit I still drink coffee too. Yay for an iced Carmel macchiato! Yum! I'm more relaxed this time around. I don't really have an UO, I guess mine would be I turned DD forward facing before she is 2.
I think dressing up preschoolers as little "Pilgrims and Indians" is borderline questionable. Especially when we give the kids fake Native American names.
@MsBeachNJ I am sorta on the same page. I don't like it when people ask if they are pregnant and post the test mainly because its against TOU, but I find it weird for people to write "OMG EWWWW". I imagine little preschoolers running around being dramatic when that happens.
I just calmly tell someone that its against TOU and that they should take it down.

Also, I am on and have been on different forums. I dont get why grow adult women (and men), change their font, color or size for all posts. It is distracting and makes them look 14. or like it is AOL 1999.

but what about Pugs????
Nope, sorry we can't EVER be friends now! Lol
Give me all the coffee for as to not kill someone today, or any day for that matter...
@PugsandKisses I can't survive without my coffee!! Although I have not been able to drink a full cup recently, it just isn't appealing.
I used to be all about big dogs and I really didn't care for little dogs, but I have totally changed my mind, I think they are adorable.
My UO: I was on the May BMB when I was pregnant last cycle and joined the early facebook group. I regretted it because almost everyone joined and a lot of the women drove me crazy. I kind of wish there was a BMB for TTGP grads only (I sound like a mean girl don't I?)
definitely all the coffee.. well only a cup, but still... I'm a big fan of my morning bm (tmi, but since we've got a whole topic on it I figure we're all friends now)
I'm okay with little dogs- I think Chihuahua's are freakin adorable!!
I'm perplexed as to how @pugsandkisses doesn't like OITNB... per.plex.ed!!!!!
My UO is that I love going to the dentist!!! Looooovveeeee itttt.... I've actually fallen asleep when I've had my teeth cleaned...it's probably because growing up we never had dental insurance and my parents never took me to the dentist like ever. (weird I know). so now i'm all over it...
@ButterMyBiscuit I still drink coffee too. Yay for an iced Carmel macchiato! Yum! I'm more relaxed this time around.
I don't really have an UO, I guess mine would be I turned DD forward facing before she is 2.
That is not a UP, but A FFFC. However, it is dangerous and will be illegal is most states soon.
I'll be careful here don't hate me but I really don't understand people who don't vaccinate their kids or worse claim it causes autism. Which by the way it doesn't! Sorry just watched a terrible post on Facebook full of lies of why to not vaccinate
@Lindsayleigh1989 I am in complete agreement... I have a daughter with Autism and it actually offends me when people make this argument. Can you imagine having a whole group of people going around saying that they refuse something that could protect their child from a very dangerous disease because their child might end up like yours? It kills me that because my daughter is different people think it would be the world coming to an end if they had a child like her. Her neurology is part of who she is, differences and all, and I love all of her.

I work with several children who have autism and they are some of the brightest kindest most creative souls I have ever met
I don't understand really expensive hotels. If I have to stay in a hotel, I try not to go anywhere shady, just a clean and safe place to sleep. Some hotels are $400 or more for one night. Craziness!
TTGP December Siggy Challenge: Favourite Holiday Movie Moment
I am also still drinking my morning cup of coffee. But I am trying to make that my only caffeine of the day. Going off the TV-related posts: my UO is that I don't like the Office. I've tried so many times. I just don't think it's funny.

I just posted on anothet board about smoking weed. I stopped since I found and today is the first time I feel like I really want to get stoned and relax in the bathtub!
My UO is that half the pregnancy books are full of shit. I threw away my "Healthy Pregnancy" book last night because I was so pissed about the horrible advice in it. Vegans should eat fish and consider cravings for meat to be a sign that they should eat it?! Seriously?! Do you live in the dark ages? Check in with the ADA lately? How rude! Also it said no heart rates over 140- are you kidding? That would basically be not working out ever! A slow jog could get you to 140! And no lifting heavy weights, suggesting 5lbs hand weights should be plenty to tone arms and shoulders? So um idk if you've heard but we women can be super strong. We can be just as strong as men. 5lbs? If the author was in front of me I'd have punched them in the face! They'd have never believed the right hook a pregnant woman could have!
My UO: I love pee sticks and I think it's weird that pee stick pictures are no longer allowed on the bump. So weird. I've been on the baby boards for 6 years and miss the good old pee stick days.

SAME PAGE GIRL. I didn't read other responses before posting mine, obviously.

I don't have a UO but I just wanted to say this made my heart melt. Of course hearing all of the "vaccines cause autism" BS has always made me roll my eyes, but hearing it from your perspective makes me hate people that say it even more.
Oh boy. I think I'm just unpopular so one of my uo's is I've totally given up on eating super healthy. At this point I'm just happy if I can keep anything down so I'm going to eat what sounds good. Also, pregnancy has shut down the small amount of filters that I had in the first place so I speak my mind... A LOT. I know sometimes I come off as rude and while that's not my intention I really do not care if it's taken that way. Hormones + no sleep + constantly sick = and unhappy cranky lady. Sometimes I'm too blunt for my own good!
Tom's classic shoes are whatever they are called are HIDEOUS. I don't care how comfortable they might be. I will never put one of them on my foot, ever.

A-MEN to all of this! My UO is that I don't care for The Daily Show. Never have, never will.
July BMB Siggy Challenge: Weird Hot Dog Situations
My UO is I don't like puppies. Sure, they're cute, but I would never get a puppy. I enjoy older, calm, trained dogs and would adopt one of those, but I find puppies super annoying.

I haven't heard anything about the law changing- do you have a link? In CA, it changed fairly recently and it's based on height and weight, not age.
We had no choice but to turn DD around and 18 months. She was too tall for the infant seat even though she was still under the weight limit and it wasn't safe - poor head protection. We bought the Graco4ver to make sure we could keep her rear-facing, but the seat is too large for my car and would be unsafe in that position because it would be incorrectly installed. So she's forward facing. My pediatrician fully agreed that it was much safer to install the seat correctly forward-facing than try to use the incorrectly installed or too-small rear-facing one.
That said, I would totally judge someone who turned a LO forward for no other reason than they just wanted to, rather than doing it for safety reasons.
