2dp5dt and still no update on my other embryos. Don't know how many made it, don't know the quality, don't know anything! Is that normal?? I'm kinda annoyed by it but don't know if it's unwarranted.

@erinscaren try to keep your mind as distracted as possible for the next 11 days....i drove myself crazy researching and overanalyzing everything! I am so excited for you! sending lots of baby dust your way for that BFP!
@thejessicanicol Yay, 15 is great! Rest up! I had no issued with endometrin. Mine came with a little stick. Was just like putting a tampon in basically. Wear a panty liner though!!
@Colleen0516 I would call them, definitely not unwarranted for you to be annoyed and a stress you don't need! I just got my day 5 update and they said they will be calling tomorrow with a day 6 and Sunday with a day 7. How are you feeling so far?

So I'm officially a day 3 transfer. Going in tomorrow morning!
I'm having such mixed emotions about. Excited and overwhelmed and nervous and scared. Still wondering why I'm a day 3 and other are day 5 and how that affects my chances.
I keep reminding myself to let go and let God.. that is it's meant for us it will happen!
Hey all. I had 4 normal growing embryos on day 1. Was disappointed, but trying to stay positive. Looking forward to the day 3 update tomorrow. We are doing PGS on day 5. FX they all are still growing!
@erinscaren so excited for you!!! Your fur-babies sure are cute too.
@ChristinaV2015 best of luck tomorrow! FX for you!!!
@colleen0516 sending you lotsa BFP vibes!
Everyone is in so many different stages, I wish everyone the best and FX for BFP!!!
@thejessicanicol start asap after ER and eat every day till 6dp5dt. That will give the bromine in th pineapple time to increase blood flow to your lining and reduce any potential inflammatory response. Cut long vertical slices and leave the most of the core in each slice as it has the highest bromine concentration. I ate a slice every day.
@ChristinaV2015 congrats! Today is the day you meet your nugget! I was a 3 day, too. They said because we only had the 2 to work with they wanted to get her (picking a gender) in her natural environment sooner than later. Don't stress too much about why, they assured me it had nothing at all to do with the embaby quality. Do you get valium? That helped a lot for me. Good luck today!
@Colleen0516 How much activity have you returned to doing? I'm supposed to take it easy again today, I just don't know what the rest of my week should look like!
@thejessicanicol Wow congrats on your ER! Can't wait to hear how well they do!
@villacis811 Thanks for the advice! I'm spending the weekend watching a lot of comedies on Netflix! And trying to stay off google!
@AmyReneeF Thank you! I can't wait to hear how your little embabies are doing day 3!
Everyone keep us posted on your updates and have a nice weekend!
@ChristinaV2015 don't stress! Day 3 and day 5 is decided on based on how many embryos you have and how they are growing. If they don't think that they will make it to day 5 in a Petri-dish they will put them in sooner. This will give them a better chance. Look at mine: 8 on day 3 and only 1 strong on day 5 (not sure if the others made it) soooo no stress! You have healthy viable embryos today! Positive thoughts and good luck!!
@erinscaren well on the day of my ET I relaxed all day. I got up and walked a tiny bit. The next day i went to work, and tried to sit as much as I could; I still relaxed though. No stress. Yesterday I did the same.
This weekend I'm gonna take it easy too. I have been very tired so I'm going to bed early and getting a lot of sleep! So much so that I actually wake up feeling awake (not normal for me). My sleep habits aren't great and I'm usually tired upon waking. But I don't want to push myself, so I'm going to bed hours earlier than usual! My doctor said light walkin is good- it gets the oxygen flowing but to keep yourself calm and relaxed as much as possible!

Just spoke to the embryologist... A slow developer decided to start dividing, so we now have 5! No idea how that is possible, but I will take any positive news that I can. Since we are doing PGS, they are going to let it grow. DH said it must be his son, as it's a slow mover just like him (he finally got married at age 47!) lol.
@erinscaren hope you are feeling great, relaxed and happy!
FX for you @ChristinaV2015. Hope everything goes well!!!
Get some good sleep, @colleen0516! Rest up.
Have a great weekend everyone!!!
Thank you thank you thank you to all of you very kind women. I took a couple days off from the site because I've been so down. Reading your thoughtful and caring posts reminds me why I love this group!!!! I feel so much support and I appreciate each of you.
I started bcps today so I am expected to have the 1 or 2 FET the week of Dec 7 or 14. Does anyone else's office close in December? My nurse said their lab shuts down for a month over the holidays? I suppose they deserve some time off lol.
Good luck @erinscaren! Yay. This is so exciting!!! Awesome on the great retrieval @thejessicanicol I've never tried endometrin. Your poor DH. I do feel bad for these guys. @halips it sounds like we'll be on the same schedule! So happy you have so many doing well. What injections are they putting you on? I haven't got my meds list yet. From my perspective I only had 2 on day 5 and the remaining 5 were so small they weren't sure I'd have any to freeze. 2 exploded in growth over night and they were able to freeze a 3 and a 5 on day 6. Don't worry about it till then!
Good luck @Navarro1126 I'm sorry your procedure was stalled but at least you'll have the holidays to relax and enjoy a little egg nog! I'd use caution regarding chromosomal abnormalities. Of the types available, yes your dr is correct, it is the"least" troublesome but it creates a whole host of issues for the baby. I'd hold that one till a last resort if it were me.
Hi @SafariGal28 So sorry for your bfn. Just had one myself and I'm still pretty tearful and down so I feel your pain. I did crinone instead of injectible and my progesterone was off the charts high. I'm going to use it again next cycle.
@ChristinaV2015 great news with your numbers!!!!!
@villacis811 the Crinone is great. It's an upgraded version of the old suppository progesterone and it "sticks" better than the nasty old suppositories. I would be worried too. I get your feelings! But stay positive. You'll be fine!
@smitty18 i hope you are feeling better. I know stressful and disheartening this is but try to stay positive. My lab closes for 3 weeks too. I heard they do it twice per year because there is some type of cleaning or something they have to do. That is one of the reasons why i have to wait until Jan. You are right about enjoy the holidays with a bit of egg nog. I am going to enjoy the break and focus on healing and making a happy uterus so that my embies want to stay
I heard from the embryologist about our other embaby today, it's still growing and at the morula phase, the earliest blast phase. Not ready to freeze yet on day 5, so they will look again tomorrow. I asked if she thought it had a good chance of making it to the freeze, but she said they really never can tell. But she reiterated that the one they transferred was a really really good one and any to freeze is just a bonus! I feel a little headachey and nauseous today, which realistically I know it is way too early, so it's likely just the hormones, but I'm telling myself it's a good sign. I'm letting myself believe this one is the sticky one, hope that's not a bad thing.
My husband has been out of town all weekend for Navy reserves and I was ridiculously surprised and excited yesterday when I was laying on my couch and had a knock on my door and got up to find that my best friend had driven 7 hours from Washington DC to come be with me!
@AmyReneeF 5 is awesome! Can't wait for tomorrow's update!
@smitty18 Glad to hear from you, girl! Hope you are feeling better! My clinic said they close down at Christmas so that no one has to come in for an ER or ET on a holiday. I think that's pretty typical!
@Navarro1126 You know how it is once these holidays get going. January is going to be here before we know it! November is already half over!
@erinscaren what a wonderful surprise! That made my heart happy that your DH did that!!!!! It's so hard right now but try not to dwell on every feeling or sensation. It kind of drives you crazy. Your doc is right. Any to freeze is a bonus. I'll keep my fx for that guy to blast into freeze zone tomorrow.!
Thanks everyone! Call got the call yesterday morning. 14 of the 15 were fertilized but 8 actually started dividing. I get another call tomorrow for an update. We're so happy to know we kind of have 8 babies right now DH is trying really hard to not talk about it because he doesn't want to "jinx" it but I can't shut up about it! Lol.
So I been MIA for a while. I have been reading and keeping up with all you. This round of ivf was a bit harder on me than the first. Maybe because it was back to back. Anyway my retrieval is tomorrow and j can't wait to get it over with . I feel like it's gonna gsppen this time. Good luck to everyone
I hope all of you ladies are doing well this weekend! Keeping my FX and praying for all the BFPs.
Yesterday was my day 3 transfer and the doctor transfered 2 "excellent" 8 cell babies. As the embroyologist loaded the catheter, I said "put my babies in" which everyone laughed at and then I sobbed my little eyes out as I watched them float into my uterus. I love my little embabies already and consider myself PUPO.
I also started the Cirone today and I've been nauseous since the afternoon. Has anyone else gotten that side effect from the progesterone?
@ChristinaV2015 PUPO! Congrats on your transfer. I am also on crinone. I have experienced nausea and sore breasts, nipple sensivity, bloating, cramps/twinges and headaches. It's so cruel for us in our 2ww.
@thejessicanicol One week from tomorrow is my beta. Really debating on testing out the trigger and doing a HPT the day before though. As with some of the other ladies here, I'll be getting the call at work and I already cried in front of all my colleagues last week, don't really want to do it again if it's negative....not that it will be!
@ChristinaV2015 congrats on your ET with 2 sticky embabies! What day is your beta?
I had some disappointing news on Saturday. The lab called to say that my other 4 embryos did not make it. The woman who called was very terse and brief and in the middle of me figuring out what to ask, said "have a good day, bye". I feel like I should have gotten so much more information! I also just don't understand how my 3AB embryo goes from "going to freeze first thing tomorrow" to gone in 12 hrs. I can understand the other 3 that weren't growing as quickly, but for all 4 to just arrest and that's it? it doesn't seem to make sense. Maybe I'm just being over sensitive? At least I have 1 good quality frozen embryo for the FET and I'm trying to focus on that, after all it only takes 1 right?

I know we are supposed to think PUPO! But I become so scared last night. I was floating on cloud 9 last week, and this week- I'm so nervous! I'm trying to only think positive! I really, really am! But it's hard. What is it didn't take? What if my beta is negative? I helped my sister-in-law set up her nursery yesterday. All I kept thinking was, "I want one of these so bad". I sat in her glider and prayed! Prayed that my future niece is happy and healthy, but also prayed that she gets a cousin really soon!! Our friend is also pregnant, and they were talking about how their babies are gonna be best friends- I was so jealous, and then so nervous. PUPO! I keep saying it out loud.
Anyone else feel this way?
I also got my update on my embryos- 2 out of 7 made it to a day 6 freeze. Both grade 2 (their grading scale- 1 being the best) one was early stage blastocyst and one was expanded grade blastocyst.
@halips I'm sorry! I don't understand the whole process either! How many did you transfer again? Hopefully they take and you don't need to worry about the frozen ones for a while!

@halips I am so sorry. I think you do deserve some answers. Call your RE--maybe he can explain.
@Colleen0516 I get it. I am very nervous too. Friday is my beta, but I'm POAS on Thursday. I'm trying really hard not to over analyze every little twinge or other symptom. This morning all I can smell is the scent of my shampoo on my hair. Has me wondering if my sense of smell is heightened. I need to just relax and stop symptom spotting.
@halips I'm so sorry! I know they don't always have an explanation for what happened, but it would be nice if they at least showed some empathy and stayed on the phone and tried to answer some questions! The best thing I can say is that if those didn't make it, there was a reason. They weren't meant for this world. But you still have one perfect little snowflake waiting for you, and that's all you need. Hugs!
So Saturday our RE said that only 8 embabies were growing. This morning he called and now we have 10!! 2 decided to be a little slow he said. Got it from their dad :P I feel like Christmas is coming a little early for us!! Of the 10, 6 are "top notch." Not sure why our RE doesn't use a grading scale.. Maybe so I don't stress out? But I haven't been this excited in a long time. I obviously want the first to be the one that sticks but how comforting knowing we have plenty just in case.
@Rachd110 Friday will be here before you know it! Fx!!
@Colleen0516 I think that's completely normal. This whole process is so stressful and even with all the monitoring etc. can be so unpredictable. Just try to be as hopeful and positive as you can! And how exciting that you have 2 snowflakes waiting for you! Fx!!

Its so exciting to see so many of you so close to your Beta's! I am amazed how positive all you ladies are ....i love the positivity! To all you ladies that are going to POAS before your beta's i wish i had your guts....i wasn't able to do it even though I thought about it a million times. let all the BFP's start rolling in.....
So had my retrieval yesterday and I have to say this time I'm in a lot more pain than I was for the first. Been in bed since. Maybe because we did it back to back. We got 9 eggs and all 9 fertilized yay yay
Today was super draining. I swore that I was experiencing PMS symptoms and started to cry at work because I don't want to even consider negative thoughts right now. I'm much better tonight and keep rubbing my belly and talking to my little embabies.
@ChristinaV2015 hang in there. Glad your staying positive! I had AF like cramps yesterday, but hoping it was just the progesterone. Or maybe my embaby continuing to develop.
I'm POAS tomorrow morning. So scared and excited. I don't want to see another BFN, but I have a good feeling about this.
So I woke up at 5:30 am realizing I forgot to take crinone and Estrace before I went to bed. I quickly got up to put them in and figure hey I should POAS. I'm 8dpt. I looked at the test disappointed cuz I didn't see anything, but upon looking at it closer I saw a very faint positive line. It's a real squinted. I don't know what to make of it. I've heard faint or dark means positive, but I'm in disbelief. I Should take another test later this afternoon or tomorrow.
@ChristinaV2015 I've been feeling the same way! Crampy, tired, PMS. I've taken a HPT and still negative. Ugh. I know it's early still though 7dp5dt, but I'm getting discouraged. Beta Friday.
@Rachd110 yay!!!! That gives me hope!! Test again later (try and hold it all day! Lol) Maybe it will be darker

I'm having such mixed emotions about. Excited and overwhelmed and nervous and scared. Still wondering why I'm a day 3 and other are day 5 and how that affects my chances.
I keep reminding myself to let go and let God.. that is it's meant for us it will happen!

@thejessicanicol 8 is a great number! Fx for you.
Good luck to everyone
@ChristinaV2015 congrats on your ET with 2 sticky embabies! What day is your beta?
@poeface Good luck today!

Praying that all of us have success!

@thejessicanicol and @AmyReneeF how are your little embies doing??
Lol)
Maybe it will be darker

I tested out my hcg trigger, it's gone. I know 5dp3dt is way too early for a positive, but still, I don't know if I'll test again anyway. That one line sucks.
