I feel beautiful when I have clothes on. However, when I glimpse a bit of me in the mirror after my shower I feel like a beached whale. It sucks.
In still dealing with being so close to DS2's pregnancy, I still have hanging skin at the bottom of my belly.  So in a way I can't wait to be all stretched out because it won't be just hanging - I am definitely self conscious about that.
Me too. I gained about 15 pounds each with both of the miscarriages I had this year, and didn't get a chance to lose any of it (due to emotionally eating, no doubt) before this pregnancy. So I have that hanging on, then droopy skin from my son...it's...not pretty. BUT, I'm with you on being happy that things are "filling in" a bit more. :)

This is why I love maternity pants - they hide everything!!!

I know this the internet and all and none of us actually "know" each other but some of the questions I see... Seriously... WAY too TMI. I feel like there are questions that should only be asked to your doctor. It adds to the hilarity when the poster will have a close face shot as their profile pic. Like, if by some miracle I actually saw you in public I'd probably pee my pants laughing. Or throwing up.
Are you saying we're not all certified sex therapists?  Which threads are you talking about?

  • Well, I'll be honest- I started this pregnancy still at least 100 pounds overweight.  I lost 50-60 on top of that 100 though and that is what allowed me to get pregnant.  I'm telling you that PCOS is a BITCH!  But I'm also tall (5ft.9) and a big framed girl in general.

Before this stupid disease attacked my body I was still a big girl- I was a high placing weight thrower for Track and Field and literally had a body built like Amanda Bingson:

      https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2015/07/06/19/2A46DDE500000578-3151221-Tough_lady_Amanda_Bingson_who_competes_in_the_hammer_throw_put_h-a-14_1436208675617.jpg

So when I say I topped out at about 300 pounds and lost 50-60...I look pretty damn good for losing that much- despite still being a big girl!

@MrsLeanMeanClean in all honesty everyone is different.  I gain 25-26 pounds every pregnancy but have the hardest time losing it.  For me nursing does not equal immediate weightloss.  My body automatically hangs onto at least 10-15 for a good year afterward - but it's for nursing fat stores.  And if I try to diet, cut calories, anything, my supply tanks.  But other women drop a ton of weight right after delivery.  If you want to look "great" for your reunion, spanx are your friend :D

Spanx Are amazing... and I will probably be one of the newest mommas there so I am not complaining too much... heck I wil be excited to have a couple of cocktails with my girlfriends and their babies some of who I have nt seen in almost 2 years (stupid Atlantic ocean)

I really hope BF works though.... I am more than willing to hang on to a couple of chubbs if it keeps the milk flowing

  • I'm personally loving how quick tbg's are to hand out warnings and shut down threads but can't reply to a message. I've sent 4 so far. If I send anymore I'll definitely be banned cause it's so freaking annoying!

Well, I'll be adding this to my resume for sure!

I just remembered I have to go to my in laws next weekend. I'm so not looking forward to it. I can't with my MIL. I've mentioned before that she is OBSESSED with DH. Every text she sends me includes him some how. "How is he liking the baby kicks" "Is he excited" etc like text him yourself ughhh. I'm mostly irritated because when we had to go see the high risk doctor to check on the umbilical cord I said "Yeah, he's just being super optimistic about it but I'm not silly enough to think there couldn't be an issue" to which she responded that I didn't need to be stressing him out. Yeah, okay lady I just told you something could be wrong with my baby but you're right lets not worry her father.
