I've missed two temps in the last few days which really frustrates me. And my mother-in-law is staying with us for our entire fertile window, so we should be having sex right now and we haven't yet. DH completely shuts down when his mom is around. He barely speaks and looks angry/annoyed all the time. How on earth am I supposed to seduce him like this?
I'll be getting my progesterone tested this month. I can't decide what I'm hoping for. If it's normal, my body is functioning properly, but I have nothing to fix. If it's low, I have a solvable problem and can prevent future losses. But I'd worry that it means my fertile years are coming to an end and I really want to have two children. ...Then my brain spirals down a rabbit hole wondering how I'll ever have a second child when I can't even manage to have a first one.
QOTW: Making photo books of our vacations. I'm currently working on our wedding album, though. (Our first anniversary is on the 22nd.)

CD 22, so well into the TWW. I won't test until a few days after AF is due (assuming she doesn't show), so I have a while to wait yet.
Feeling oddly calm and hopefull. I feel like this could be our cycle...but if course it could also not be. But I'm really ready and feeling more confident in our readiness as a family as well. That makes a big difference.
I have knitted, crocheted, and done needle-work, but right now I don't do any of it. Maybe once it gets cold....
@dolphin012 - EVERYTHING CROSSED FOR YOU!!! @PattersRN - we are on the same schedule! Good luck! @agriffin92013 - I loved me some acupuncture when TTC#1, I hope it helps! @CarrieandRoy - gotta love the timing Any chance you can get her to leave early? HAHA @kellymarie8408 - I wish I had the patience to learn crochet.

3.
I bit the bullet and I did Femara 2.5mg CD 3-7, I bought Clearblue Easy Advanced Digital OPK and got a blank circle this am, going to use Preseed, Gingko for DH, PNV's and Mucinex. I seem to change up every cycle.
4. WTO CD11
5. Hopeful but feeling like these next 2 cycles will be it for us.
I am crafty, pinterest girl. I wish I had more time to work on my projects. I actually love refinishing and painting furniture and started a side business doing it a few years ago. People (ok, mostly friends) would bring me family heirlooms they just couldn't get rid of and I would make it suit their style. So much fun. I really want to learn to knit or crochet!

2. TTC #1, not preventing since 11/12, actively trying since 8/14 (two losses in 2014)
3. OPKs, temping, prenatals, evening primrose oil, CoQ10, probiotics, Vit D, fish oil, Myo-inositol, D-Chiro-Inositol, cayenne, flaxseed oil. Cabergoline to bring down my prolactin levels. Also some nasty herbal concoction twice a day from the acupuncturist. Need to get back to my no carb/no sweets diet (indulged a bit too much because of my bday).
4. CD2.
5. I'm getting ready to start my first medicated cycle!! I'm such a newbie with the drugs and am in that blissful, ignorant state where I think that the drugs will magically make me pregnant (of course I'm trying to prepare myself mentally for the fact that they might not work but why not let loose with some crazy optimism?). I go in for my baseline ultrasound tomorrow and if it all looks good, I'll be starting with 5mg of letrozole (femara) CD 3-7. Then another ultrasound, trigger shot and TI. We'll be using preseed as well. I really hope this works for me!
I love doing all the crafty things! I crocheted a blanket for my nephew and am now working on a very complicated heart-pattern knitted blanket for my niece. It's hard to keep at these projects though because I get insanely busy....
Fingers crossed for all you ladies! I hope we get some sweet November BFP's soon!!

1. Laura from VA 2. TTC # 1 for many many years and months 3. I've started BCPs for my first IVF cycle. Go back on Nov. 16th to start stims. 4. CD5, I think.. I stopped paying attention now that I'm doing IVF. 5. I'm very hopeful, excited, nervous, anxious, hyper. I'm excited that my retrieval will be right after Thanksgiving and my transfer will be the first week of December.
QOTW: I like painting and glitter so for this Christmas I am making people glitter ornaments and mason jars.. I love collecting craft supplies, so I love going on Pinterest to see what I can create. I'm looking forward to the day I start really looking at nursery/baby ideas. I haven't really let myself do that yet.
2. TTC #1 since august 2015 with a MC in January 2015 (TTA feb-aug)
3. Saliva Ferning, OPK's CM CP, Mayan Abdominal massage, Castor packs for her and him, herbs from naturopath and of course acupucture! (and a lot of supplements and vitamins)
4. CD 22/ DPO 10 testing on monday or tuesday am in no AF
5. I have been so nauseous the past couple of days and I only want to eat things that come in tortillas. My sense of smell is so heightened I don't even want my DH to come anywhere near me, even the cat smells (well she always smells but I just ignore it b/c she is so dang cute.) I walked into the room I taught yoga in this morning, and almost lost it because it smelled so bad from the class b4 it. I asked the students if they thought it smelled and they all shrugged ***arrrrgggghhhhhhhhh* However having said all of that my breast tenderness seems to be lessening so I might be out for this cycle. I am truly truly amazed by how the mind can play such tricks. If I loose my breast tenderness completely by sunday that'll be me out, if not I'll test monday am when AF is due.
QOTW: maybe not a true answer to the question but I am very very creative with my yoga classes, I craft them with a lot of thought and inspiration. My students have said that no 2 classes they have ever been to have been the same. I hope that is not a bad thing. :-?
11 DPIUI/DPO (possibly 10 DPO, thinking I ovulated very late the evening of the IUI). I'll test on Sunday morning.
I want to be hopeful, but also realistic. Statistics put my chance of success in a 7th IUI fairly low. If BFN, I will start things moving for IVF, which involves a month of doing NOTHING (I can use a break) except for getting a saline sonohysterogram mid-cycle. In mid-December, I'll start birth control and then Lupron, and we'll see what happens in January!
I like to cook. I've really gotten into baking bread lately-- something about the smell, and the work of kneading it, is a great stress reducer.
@createillumination I've seen enough people say that they don't notice any symptoms at all until 6 or 7 weeks, that I'm not going to worry too much about symptoms (or lack of them) during the 2ww.
@jilligan14- Most people have no side effects at all from letrozole, and I'm betting that it will give you a good little boost. It's not a miracle, but it helps a lot of people. And the trigger shot really helps with timing, too! Fingers are crossed for you!
@dolphin012- all my fingers and toes are crossed for you!!!
@CarrieandRoy- Can you kidnap him for a few hours, take him to shady motel far far away from mom, and pretend like you're teenagers sneaking out to get in trouble? And seriously, speaking as someone with low ovarian reserve, yeah, it's depressing to find out that your fertility is on an obvious decline. But knowing the hard facts have helped me deal with disappointments, and helped me work out my plan of action if I don't get what I want (to get pregnant with my own eggs). I feel more secure having the knowledge, than wondering about where I was.
Me- 39 (turning 40 in April), TTC for the first time ever (since Jan 2015), low ovarian reserve
Married 3/14/14 to my wonderful wife, but her sperm count is rather low
TTC with frozen donor sperm and science
7 IUIs, 7 BFNs. 2 IVF attempts, both cancelled and converted to IUI, both BFNs. Decided that my tired old ovaries are ready to retire. Next step- reciprocal IVF, using my wife's eggs, my uterus! fresh 5 day transfer (2 embryos) 4/17/17- BFP! Identical twins "due" 1/2/17 (but anticipated arrival sometime December)
Well it's been a super crappy week for me on the TTC front. I believe I wrote this in previous week updates but after the recall of Bravelle and the cost of Gonal F, we decided to go back to Letrozole. Long story short, I went on Monday for US on CD 20 and NOTHING had happened. Zero. Zilch. Argh! No measurable follies and RE looked stumped. I get a call later in the day that they want to induce my period and start the cycle over. Nope. I'm not putting anymore hormones in my body. I've been doing medicated cycles straight since May and I need a break: physically and emotionally. I haven't been temping because of meds and RE visits so instead I'm gonna do OPKs til I get AF and hope I ovulate on my own then do TI. Not too optimistic. Next step will be ivf but not til early spring after I switch REs.
Qotw: I'm not a crafty person at all but I do like to crochet.
@KLake42, you're totally right. Knowledge is power. It will be good to get an answer, no matter what it is. And I like your sneaking off for sex idea!

3. Just starting BCPs for IVF #1. Nurse consult is next week, stims start Nov 27th. I'm still doing all the supplements - Myo-inositol, CoQ10, Vit D, B-complex, Fish oil, Prenatal vitamins. Working on losing weight still. I'm doing a Green Smoothie Cleanse and I've lost 5.5 of my 8 pound goal so that's awesome, plus I'm not hungry so that's a bonus!!
4. CD1 and wishing I could claw out my uterus - I hate AF, it hurts.... whine, whine.
5. Feeling excited and nervous to be moving forward. Happy AF came today because otherwise we may have had to cancel as my RE likes at least 18 days of suppression prior to IVF.
QOTW: I love scrapbooking but I'm woefully behind. I also like knitting.
*** Child & current pregnancy mentioned ***
Me - 41 (PCOS), Hubby - 43 (healthy)
7/2013 - Sweet baby girl born (Clomid + TI)
3/2014 - TTC #2, return to RE 7/2014
12/2015: IVF #1 transferred two great looking embryos - BFP!
First ultrasound: TWO beautiful little heartbeats!!
Harmony: negative; level 2: babies look great and are boy/girl!
CM, CP, PNV, supplements, chinese herbs, acupuncture, probiotics, BD EOD
CD12 WTO - things seem to be progressing sooner in my cycle this month and i'm thinking I might O before my usual CD15
Feeling strangely optimistic, so I'm just going to try and roll with it. Since my MC I've found out that the 3 other women of child bearing age in my office, my SIL, my partner's cousin, and two of my friends who live in town are all pregnant. I have to admit it stung a little every time I heard about about another getting KU, but I've come to a new place of acceptance and find myself feeling genuinely happy for them. (of course, we'll see if my rosy attitude persists if/when AF shows)
I enjoy knitting but haven't been able to do it in a while b/c of a wrist issue. I also used to crochet slippers with my grandma years ago. She's 93 and she's been crocheting the same kind of slippers pretty much her entire life. Just this year her dementia progressed to the point where she can no longer remember how to do it. Since the entire extended family has always relied on an endless supply of the crocheted booties, I'm thinking I should pick back up where she left off.
3. This will be our 3rd round of IVF and we are doing FET this time.
4. We are in the midst of taking Lupron & estrace. I'll be starting progesterone shots soon. Implantation is scheduled for mid November.
5. We opted for FET and PGS testing with this round, so we are hopeful that this time will be better results for us. We are hoping and praying for good results.
QOTW: Share a crafty-ish hobby you enjoy.
Unfortunately I am not very crafty nor skilled at making much but I do love thrifting and upcycling some of my thrift finds to re-use around the house for decor and especially for parties.

2- TTC # 2 for about a year now but really trying the last 5 months.
3- charting and OPK.
4- CD3. I really thought this past cycle was it. Things were lining up. And then not only did AF arrive 2 days early but she arrived as I was taking a damn HPT.
5- feeling really discouraged. I know we have only been trying a short time but it was so easy the first time. Each month I feel like more and more of a failure.
QOTW- I love photography. Old school photography. It's been a while but I use to hand color B&w photos.
@jenniferk08 - I think having had an easy time the first time makes it all the harder when the second time doesn't go as planned. Heck, it took 7 months and Clomid for my first and now I'm realizing just how "easy" that was. At the time, I was so frustrated. I even remember my husband saying "Can you imagine those poor people who are trying for over a year? I can't imagine how awful that would be." Jokes on us, I guess...
Anyway, just wanted to say I commiserate with you on this one... Hang in there.

@Jenniferk08 --I'll jump in with @emsmama15 here and say I get it too. The first time was super easy for us and we expected it would be the same this time. Turns out, not so much. It's hard to deal with that, for sure.
Also, I took a HPT last month and saw AF begin as I finished up the test too. Not much worse timing than that. Sorry it happened to you too. Hang in there!
@emsmama15 thank you. I remember seeing my gyn 2 months before getting KU and telling her see you soon. And sure enough I was pregnant the first month trying. So we figured it would be that way this time. and too add to the fun I have a family history of cancer in my family. My mom is a breast cancer survivor and my maternal grandmother died from ovarian cancer. I need to do a BRCA test. Even if it's negative they want my ovaries out before 40. I'll be 38 in July. If it's positive then it's breast and ovaries going.
@jenniferk08, I started trying in January and thought it would take a while to get pregnant at my age. I got pregnant on the second cycle and I was so relieved! I had no idea I would miscarry that pregnancy and another one and still be trying for #1 almost a year later. It's like the universe did this:

@agriffin92013 - I loved me some acupuncture when TTC#1, I hope it helps!
@CarrieandRoy - gotta love the timing Any chance you can get her to leave early? HAHA
@kellymarie8408 - I wish I had the patience to learn crochet.

2. TTC#2 since 4/2014

MMC at 10 weeks 03/2011 DD born 01/2012 TTC #2 since 04/2014
BFP 8/26/2016
NTNP since 11/12, actively trying since 8/14
11/15: Letrozole, Ovidrel, TI = BFP!!!
Beta #1(14dpo)=349, Beta #2(18dpo)=2,805
12/17/15: Got to see the heartbeat (105bpm)!
1/25/16: NT scan = normal (HB=163bpm)
EDD: 8/10/16
8/8/16: Baby boy born @ 12:25am, 8lbs, 20.5 inches
5/18/17: BFP!!! (11dpo)
Beta #1(12dpo)=176.4, Beta #2(15dpo)=607.1
2. TTC # 1 for many many years and months
San Diego, CA
TTC #1 since June 2015
Prior D&C due to blighted ovum 2003
TTC #1, and this is my 7th cycle
Medicated IUIs with acupuncture and TCM herbs

2. TTC #2 for 18 months.
TTC #2 since 2/15, cycle #4 post-MC
2. We have been TTC for 5 years, #3

Also, I took a HPT last month and saw AF begin as I finished up the test too. Not much worse timing than that. Sorry it happened to you too. Hang in there!
