Thanksgiving Thread!

I always do this thing on Facebook, where I post what I'm thankful for every day from the first of November through Thanksgiving. I thought this would be a good idea here too! Just post what day we're on, and what you're thankful for. I'll start:

Day 1: I'm grateful for my fiancé. He is literally my rock, and the ONLY person who gets me.

    Day 1: I'm thankful that I finally got a new job as a bank teller rather than a Sonic carhop! Looking forward to starting a career rather than continuing my college job.

    I am thankful for my family and church. I am also thankful I will be eating turkey mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce because I've been craving it lol!

    Day 1: I'm thankful for my in-laws. They just left from having visited us for a week. We wish we had family that lived close by! It means a lot to us when they make the effort to travel to see us.

    Day 1: I thankful for a toddler who been sleeping in the last two weeks so daylight savings put us back on 7:30 not 6:30.

    Day 2 I'm thankful for my mother. It's her birthday today and she is truly amazing person who I look up to in many ways.

    Day 2: I'm thankful for essential oils!! I went to bed on Saturday with a terrible cold and headache, and after laying low all day yesterday (thankful that DH could look after the kids!) and nursing myself with a diffuser and oils on my feet and chest, I feel a million times better this morning!

    (I'm trying to do things that relate to the specific day, so while these may seem small, they were the "big" thing that day...hope that makes sense.)

    I'm thankful for the bag full of potatoes (sweet and regular) that I pulled from the garden yesterday, even though I thought it was done for the year. Yay for surprise produce!

    I am thankful that - while I may not love my job - I work with genuinely good people. It make all the difference coming in to work each and every day.

    Great thread!

    Day 1: Thankful DD1 is getting so good at reading. I love sitting with her and listening to her read.
    Day 2: Thankful there's a heat wave and it's supposed to be in the mid 60s today!!!

    Catching up. 

    Day 1. I am thankful for a toddler who likes to sleep in and woke up at 8:30 which would have been 7:30 regular time. 

    Day 2: I am thankful for that I have a job I love.

    Day 3b - I'm thankful we finally paid a credit card off this morning.  Still have tons of debt, but it feels great to have that one checked off.

    Day 3 - Thankful for my cousin giving me all her maternity clothes, it is so nice to get a whole new wardrobe dropped in your lap without having to shop for it.  I do not like shopping.

    Well, one big thing I'm thankful for is being able to stay at home with my baby when he comes. Many people in my age group would not be able to do it out of sheer necessity to keep working.

    I'm also really thankful that my husband is military so we'll always have a house, income and insurance as long as he's part of them--AND he won't be deployed to any kind of combat zone, thank god! He works in an office!

    ...Really, I'm just thankful for him. My whole life is amazing now because of him and his love and his hard work.

    @cmerribury I feel you on that one. I was going to say I'm thankful that all of my children stay safe to/from school. We had horrible (worst I've seen in a long time) fog yesterday morning. Think visibility 1/4 mile and under. Every morning when I put 2 on the bus and 1 on the school van (special needs) I pray that they make it to school and back home safely. Well, I had to do a very thankful prayer when they got home because 3 teenagers on their way to school were in a head on collision and one of them didn't make it. So so sad. Got to stay thankful and feeling blessed these days.

    Day 3: Thankful I have a house to clean, even if I'm in agony after cleaning it. Stupid BH/sciatic pain/pelvic pain. (And thankful I'm able to get pregnant and carry a baby even though it hurts me. Haha.)

    Day 4: I'm thankful that my husband will be home tonight after being away on business.  I sleep horribly when he is gone.

    Playing catch up...

    Day 2: thankful that the Royals won the World Series!! Kansas City deserves a big win like this. So proud of the boys in blue!

    Day 3: thankful I have a trainer who holds me accountable for working out twice a week! I know I would be huge already if I didn't, lol.

    Day 4: thankful for my wonderful church choir family!! I may be the youngest member in the choir but they definitely treat me as an equal :)

    Day 4a: Thankful for my husband.  He had a hard time sleeping last night so instead of just laying there he cleaned the entire kitchen and now it looks immaculate.

    Day 4b: DS2 turns 16 months today.  Where has the time gone???
