I've never participated in this, but I think my WTF is:

I was letting my dogs out to use the potty and some woman comes walking down the road. She stops before my driveway because she sees my big lab is off leash. I call him to the door and my other dog is on a leash, wrapped around a tree. I told her "he's on a leash, there's not much more I can do. Can you go ahead and pass by?" Said lady proceeds to come up my driveway, leashed dog barking at her and big lab wagging his tail in the porch. I had to grab the lab's collar, go untangle the leash from around the tree, ask her to get off my driveway and take my dogs inside. WTF?!
I go outside to take a picture, and she's petting my outdoor cat. At that point, I realize she probably has special needs of some sort, but she had pregnant me so stressed out! Regular me probably would have taken the dogs in and went back out to talk to her.

  • Wtf coworker last night? I'm fine with a couple of belly rubs, but you legitimately sat there and rubbed my belly for a solid 3 minutes. It got awkward fast. Especially when someone came over and asked me to do something and I had to work around you rubbing my belly. I'm sure this won't be the last time either.

That's extremely odd. Especially if it isn't a best friend or something. So far my MIL has been the only one to rub my belly and that was at like 13 weeks with no bump, so it was weird.

This is the point at which I would begin doling out slaps. And if she gets offended, tell her that it's inappropriate for a coworker to be touching you like that.

I have no balls and am non confrontational. If it does happen again I will probably ask for it to not be that long or make up an excuse to leave real fast.

  • WTF to the contractors working on the woman's bathroom down the hallway from me. Now I need to walk across the whole building just to pee. Super annoying when you pee 10+ times day. :-w
  • WTF coworker. I'm pretty sure the entire lab doesn't want to listen to your weird music. I sure don't. The speakers in the lab are for those of us that come in really early/stay late and end up alone in the lab. Have you not noticed everyone else wears headphones? You. Are. Not. Special

  • Wtf DH. How hard is it to do dishes? How hard is it to nod your head and agree that our next house (we're purchasing this next spring/summer) needs to have a dishwasher?? I KNOW you hate doing dishes, but I don't have the energy or stomach to do them after work. At least attempt every now and again, otherwise don't complain that I am doing dishes when I can't sleep. Also don't you dare tell me I will have more time once baby gets here and I am on maternity leave...um no. We clearly see how much time I have now with a two year old who doesnt like to eat off the same fork twice. I will go insane when I return to work and have TWO to take care of.

This was me literally until about a week ago. I stopped drinking anything after eight (usually go to bed around midnight) and it has helped immensely!
  • @Ready4theParty I feel your pain, and I'm going to send good vibes your way every day to get a dishwasher in your new place ;) (I didn't know you could find houses without them now???)

For some reason, as soon as I lay down I get super thirsty. Which ends up with me taking at least 6 or 7 trips to the bathroom in the middle of the night. :((
I will try the not drinking after 8! It'll be so hard but I know it's worth it..

  • My wtf Wednesday is all about driving. I love that my home state is known as one of the worst states for driving by some survey done a couple years ago tallying up traffic tickets, and accidents. I wonder how we'd do if we took snowbirds completely out of the equation??? Anyway... Most of my day is spent driving between different daycares in the county, on different ends of it. A lot of the roads are 55mph, and double lanes. I usually go about sixty or more and stay in the left lane. Yesterday I ended up being late to two different locations due to asshats in both lanes going 35 and 40 in a 55 and slowing down at every intersection! I really wish this was a fluke and only happens once in a while, but with all the increase in traffic lately it's just going to get worse. I'm also so over being tailgated when I'm actually going the speed limit or over in single lanes. I am that jerkface who will slow all the way down to 15 mph if you don't back off. I've been in an accident from someone tailgating me and a dog wondered out in the road. I slammed on my brakes, and they slammed into me (dog was fine BTW) that was only going 35 and I had bruises all over my chest for like a week from it! I won't be pressured or bullied into speeding up with you on my ass because I don't want to get hurt. Also, if I can see your eye shadow color, you are the asshole.
I know what you mean about how annoying it is when slow people match speeds in both lanes. It is so frustrating. If you want to do something to tailgaters you can use your windshield wash and it gets their windshield all wet. That is what I do if I am going fast (or if a slow down is due to a slow person in front of me) and someone is one my ass. I get on slow people's ass if they are going slow in the left lane though, because it is the only thing that ever works to get them to move.
  • My WTH is about this time change. Grrrrr....I hate it. I work until 7 most nights so when I get off work, it is now pitch black. I hate it with a passion. A passion I tell you. I can't wait until Daylight Savings in April.

I'm just glad these babies will be too little to notice the change in April! DST was clearly not invented by someone with small children.

I've been doing the dishes at 4 - 5 AM every day! I can't sleep anymore and I'm with you, I CANNOT do dishes in the evening at this point.

Thank you. I feel vindicated because DH looked at me like I was crazy. We currently rent and it's an old house...like 1800s old. The rent is cheap and the landlord hasn't updated anything since he bought it from my MIL 15 years ago. Yep we live in DHs childhood home. I can't tolerate the "Well my mom did it". The house we rented prior to this house also did not have a functioning dishwasher...although the land lord said it was safe. The pipes to the washer were rusty and would leave a red residue on the dishes. (Part of why we moves out after a year)

We also like the older style houses and would love a fixer uppER farm house...which most likely means no dishwasher. In my rage this morning, I made DH promise if the next house didn't have a dishwasher one would be put in immediately upon move in.

If I wasn't the only one who did dishes 5hos wouldn't be an issue.

  • Confession: I've never lived anywhere that observed daylight savings. (Score one for Arizona!) So I have zero idea what you guys or going through, although it is DARK here by about 6:15 now.

Oh hell no. My close friend touched my belly the other day and I told her it was just fat still and I didn't want to be touched yet. It just feels WEIRD! I'm sure when it's a little bigger and more legit-baby I'll be more ok with it, by if a coworker did this I would slap their hand away so fast.

I live in Scandinavia. With or without daylight savings it's dark as hell all winter. And in the summer time the sun is only down for two-three hours. So not much of a difference :P

My WTF goes to DH. The laundry basket is literally 2 feet away from where you leave your dirty clothes. Is it that hard to move or even throw them that whole 2 feet?! Sometimes I wish he was a neat freak like me but oh well, I still love him dearly. Also @Ready4theParty have you heard of the show Fixer Upper?! I LOVE it.

At 18 weeks?! Hell no. I plan to shut that down with anyone, at all points in my pregnancy. But especially right now.
  • @Ready4theParty we are renovating an old farmhouse that was built in 1910, fortunately the dishwasher was one of the first things put in! Although we are kind of picking the wrong time to renovate but planning started way before this pregnancy so there was no turning back. Good luck and hope you find a good one!

I feel you on this one! DH comes home EVERY day and throws his work uniform on the couch, when its obvious I have been cleaning all day. Drives me insane.

LOVE IT!! DH does home repairs/remodeling so he loves those types of shows...except he get mad at how something is being done or that it wouldn't meet code, so then he yells and I have to change the channel because he starts cursing. Love him dearly...but really?!?! It's just a show.

Wtf bladder?? I was having this crazy dream about how my ex boyfriend's wife had something she desperately needed to tell me, and then you wake me up to pee?? Now my day is ruined because I'm stuck here wondering what my subconscious thought was so important for her to say :((
  • WTF random dizzy spells? Nearly blacked out once, then have random wobbly dizzy patches....all whilst sitting down?!

Thanks for getting rid of my backache but seriously, is it really going to be like a swop system for symptoms on a fortnightly basis?!

Omg EVERY. DAY. There is a pile of clothing on the dresser bc apparently it's impossible to walk to the hamper and drop it in. Also, wet towels on the floor, on the bed, on the dresser... Bc it's also impossible to hang a towel up. Grrr...

  • WTF coworkers.
No, I don't want to go to the holiday party this year. No, that doesn't make me a bad employee, and no, it won't hurt my career!
It's far, and it's on a work night, and I'm tired by 8 every day. Back off or I will go all hormonal pregnant woman on your ass!

WTF Why is it STILL Wednesday?? This day is soo long.
Yesssssss!!!  I've been feeling like this since I walked out of my house this morning!
  • WTF Big O for telling me 1 hour and then taking 2 to change my oil... WTF me for thinking they would really only take an hour and not eat lunch before I left...
WTF coworker for talking about how you are having to "BRAT" eat this week... WTF me for asking what that meant... and WTF coworker for talking about eating bananas, rice, applesauce and toast after your terrible diarrhea... yeah... no longer hungry. Thanks.

    WTF Wednesday! I'm so done...
  • WTF, sister? You expect me to have a baby and immediately drive 18 hours to your wedding, which is not planned, to a man who hasn't proposed yet? I've never had a child before, but I'm pretty sure this isn't going to end well.

Honest opinion though, ladies - she is the last of us to get married. I'm due April 12th and she is considering early May for the nuptials. Should I suck it up and attend her wedding 1,000 miles away with a 2ish week old, or should I not go and not lose sleep over it? Will I have even stopped bleeding by then if I'm able to deliver vaginally?!?

Hate to break the news - but you can bleed 4-6 weeks after you given birth. And you bleed after a c section too - doesn't matter how you deliver.
