Was up all night convinced I was in labor. I had contractions but they were irregular. The baby moved to my left side so that also may have been causing the cramping. And like always, she kicked all night long b-(
Nearly every single night I wake up anywhere between 1am-3am & I can't fall back asleep. I am a zombie. Maybe it's my body's way of preparing me for what's to come? Either way, it's cruel & unusual because this is the time I should be "resting". HA! Whatever that means...
Same here! Did not sleep hardly at all last night. This insomnia is torture. Seriously a cruel joke that this is the time we should be resting. My brain just will not shut off.
As a FTM, it's so hard to know exactly what I am experiencing. I, too, was up last night with what I'm pretty sure were contractions (not just BH). Crampy/twisting pains that lasted prob 30-50 seconds and came and went (not regular intervals). I realize you can have contractions over a period of weeks, but it's also hard to know if/when things could escalate and go into full on labor. I just know that, like you ladies, I'd love to just be able to sleep and be comfortable!
Oh and I was once again up half the night. Husband woke me up at midnight when he was taking out the garbage (he gets home from work then) and I never fell back to sleep before my alarm went off at 2. Then he got mad at me when I said I was up since midnight and said he wouldn't have woken me up if I had taken the garbage out myself. Sigh. Nothing like a fight at 2am before going to work. At least it's Friday...
Awake here... Not because of labor. Currently eating a granola bar and string cheese while watching an infomercial for Golden Age Country music hits. Exactly what I want to be doing at 2am.....
Hey, the smoke alarm decided it needed a new battery AT 2 IN THE MORNING. That was fun trying to sleep through for 5 hours before giving up and changing the damn thing. Oy.
I might just stab the next person who says something along the lines of "you're tired now? Just wait till you have that baby." Shut. Up. Just because the kid isn't hear means I'm not allowed to be tired/have trouble sleeping? Grr.
Last night was the worst night of sleep I've ever had. Up from 230-630 with contractions every 5-7 minutes apart. Finally was able to fall asleep until 730 but kept getting woke up because of the contractions. Thinking today may be the day. (Hoping anyways I can't handle another night of that!)

This. It gets really old. I need helpful, positive responses...otherwise, STFU. And I keep saying, well, at least for the first 12 weeks of baby being here, I won't also be having to drag my hiney to work every day ON TOP of being exhausted. People are the worst.
Wide awake since 4am. Thankfully I'm done working so I don't have to worry about that! But annoying nonetheless. Hoping a bubble bath will lull me back to sleep.
Last few days have been killer. Waking up every hour or so because I'm no longer comfortable in certain positions, and then also bathroom trips. It's 6:15 am and I've been up since 5 just tossing and turning then I made the mistake of grabbing my phone....
6 days to my due date and I'm miserable. I'm now waking up every night bc of the extreme heartburn and reflux making me sick..... When will this be over? I Judy want to feel like myself again
The past few nights I've been up up up. Tonight got in a fight though so now I feel extra awful. Why can't you just hug or cuddle a 38 week crying pregnant woman?? Why snap at her that she's being crazy and emotional? Damn it. The one person I care to be around and he's got to be an ass. So I go for a drive and get mcdonalds. Only to feel food guilt and fat and now I can't eat it. BOO. Can't tell if I'm ready to sleep. PROBABLY NOT.
Re: Anyone else up?
You got this!
Not laboring, but you ladies that are, good luck!
Good luck!
Good luck!
@TacoSarah I hope Elliot gets some relief soon!
