For Halloween we go trick or treating but my kids don't eat other people's candy. I buy theirs or make some they just go for the experience I take the candy they get to work and put it in a jar for my co-workers, I inspect it first. I love Halloween but this year I've been so tired I've only done minimal decorating and crafting with kids I kind of feel bad but I'm so tired and since we are moving in Jan I'm probably not really decorating for Christmas.
I love Halloween!!!!!!! I don't decorate or anything because we're in an appartnent but hoping to buy next year and will definitely decorate then (I say that now....)
Ugh a friend of mine from my old mommy group is pregnant with number two as well. She posted her invite in our fbk group asking ppl to rsvp for a shower for this baby 2 (side note she is having the same sex as her first).
On the invite it says she is registered. I looked at her registry mostly bc I plan to do one for the completion discount to are if there was anything I was forgetting about. Well she registered for potty training and other gear for her already 2 year old!!!! The rest was books and diapers for the newborn plus a few random toys. Seriously I am so irritated about this!
I've since moved so I won't be attending anyway but still why do I find this so annoying?
I'm feeling like it's a huge UO for the people outside of the normal everyday poster group to post general pregnancy concerns in the "general pregnancy concerns" thread. It annoys me something serious. I'm sure the raging hormones don't help but damn, we have a way we operate and it matters to me.

@ecwk lol yea, I was having a fit when I typed that so its kinda confusing. Anywho, that's what I meant- it's a new thread everyday for a problem that I know we've covered in there. I think really my problem it's that they don't even try to participate. They come to get answers and IF they even reply to their own thread it's to get mad at the answers given. I seriously want to throw my phone when it's the ones that repeatedly hate answers given and say they're leaving and then turn around and ask another question. As for your UO, I agree 100%. Super strange imo.

You know the LMGTFY links? It would be awesome to link the answer in one of our threads *thru* LMGTFY in one of those posts. the iPhone update has a bird-finger emoji, and I so wish the bump had one

but i still feel bigger on the inside Autism mama!
I'm not sure if this UO for everyone but I think 13 is too young to be wearing darker color lipsticks (honestly, lipstick in general), eye makeup and getting your eyebrows done. My daughter is 9 but these are things that she's not allowed to do until she's 18. I just think girls look way too old these days. This was brought up because I have a 13 year old niece and her mother lets her do all of these things and I just personally don't agree.

Then there's this. And to make it extra funny it made me think "this is probably what my family looks like piling out of the Yukon" )
I keep watching this trying to count … 13?
Hahha I didn't even try to count! As soon as I saw it, it just reminded me of how many times I heard my family make the "looks like the full clown car unloading when y'all get out (insert obnoxious laughter)" lol anyhow we only have 8 and that's the end of the line!

My UO is, I actually like working the night shift most days. Yes, it totally ruins my sleep schedule and I am tired often; I just think the benefits outweigh that. I work with nicer people, it's a much more laid back atmosphere (HELLO, NO ADMINISTRATION), and most patients are a little more 'legit' when they present to the ER at 3am.

UO: I'm not a fan of my baby boy rolling around in my belly. It always happens in the morning when i lay on my back and stretch out. Its a very strange feeling and he always manages to roll into my bladder. Don't get me wrong I LOVE feeling kicks and pokes and that he's healthy but my belly looking like it is being pulled in random alien directions is not cool.
Omg! THIS! Lol. So glad I'm not the only one. I love feeling my son move around. But the other morning he kept using my bladder as a trampoline. I kept going to the bathroom but my bladder was already empty. It was pretty painful. Side note: I've never been on UO thread. What's it stand for?
My UO for the day is as mentioned by someone previously... Sexy maternity photos! Like, if you feel sexy enough at this time in your life when your stomach is stretching out and you're getting bigger, great! Good for you! But please, for the love of all that is good in the world, don't post them everywhere. I don't wanna see that, no one wants to see that. Saw a few on Facebook today that honestly made me giggle a little.
@mrspepper05 I could watch Christmas movies and listen to Christmas all year! Sadly my husband has a no Christmas until thanksgiving rule. Since after thanksgiving he gets really into it (cutting down the tree etc.) I can't really complain. Especially since he is Jewish and wouldnt celebrate Christmas at all if it wasn't for me.
As someone who has food allergies (and other) overly militant parents about food allergies and preferences piss me off. I know I can't eat sometimes but that doesn't mean I make a whole ordeal about it... I carry a few things I can eat in case it happens and I get hungry. Also if you are the asshole adult like this grow the fuck up... you won't starve skipping a meal and eating later when you can.
Not completely related: I have trouble not rolling my eyes when vegans get upset about not being accommodated at a function. I know I shouldn't, but I can't help myself. Maybe it's backlash from living with a vegan and hearing about it all the time.
ALL KINDS OF YES. DH's cousin and his gf are vegan and will not come to family functions because we don't accommodate their lifestyle choice. CHOICE. Not like they have a deathly peanut allergy or something. They choose to be vegan. Frankly if you're going to be that close-minded we don't want you there anyway!

Yes! I have friends who will bring something with them that they know they can eat in case nothingness else works out. I have others who heave big sighs and stare the table. It takes all kinds I guess
@flowerpower5838 so cute! There was a mom at my son's daycare today that did the creepy baby doll in the shirt costume. Worst pregnant lady costume EVER.
@2goofykids I can't even handle the sexy boudoir shoots that some women post on Facebook, let alone the pregnant ones. There's a time and place for both and the place is NOT on Facebook for the world to see.

Is this an UO: sexy maternity pics? They creep me out much more than 3d ultrasounds and almost as much as grown man Peter Pan.
