  I think it's really freaking lame that my company is doing a Halloween party for all the kids of employees at 4pm and they have an amazing array of treats and candy ... but those of us without kids aren't invited and there is NO candy available for us. NONE. We literally have to stand on the opposite side of the glass (windows between the offices and the cafeteria) and watch people eat sugar. Effing torture.

  And that's totally going to be me. One of my ex-coworkers (had twins in January and didn't come back after maternity leave) just let me know she'll be there with her kids (her husband works here still) so I'm "visiting with her" at the party. I'll be stuffing my pockets with much candy.

  My five-year-old fell asleep at 5pm while I was making dinner. He hasn't woken up even though I tried to give him food, changed him into pjs & put him in bed.
  So if anyone wants to chat at 3 or 4am chances are I'll be awake.

  Yesterday my dh brought me home breakfast on his way home from his midnight shift. My breakfast sandwich had a hair in it...my fat pregnant ass didn't even care and ate it anyways...I'm a bit ashamed.

  I am a professor. I'm 31, but I look pretty young. Over the course of the last 2 weeks, I've been asked what classes I'm taking this semester and what year I am in college... I went to grad school for 8 years and undergrad for 4... I just can't.

  You guys... Every night DH reads a chapter from this really nerdy book to my stomach. I usually just look here or on Facebook while he reads. But I got this cute pic last night. Please forgive the bare belly, but he thinks it helps her hear him better. Haha.

  I'm in roughly the same situation. I crashed and feel asleep on the couch around 6pm and woke up a short time later to my one year old asleep on my legs with his blanket. He's in his crib now and still deep asleep. While I know he'll wake up and I'll be up with him until at least 4am, I'm enjoying the quiet.

  We started doing birthing meditations before bed from Spotify - that shit knocks me out for hours! But last night we did a real hippy, crunchy one and the lady said to take a deep breath in and let it out as if it was leaving your rectum. We both started cracking up. Had to find a different one and start over.
