My UO for today is that I love watching Teen Mom. I started watching when 16 and pregnant started and I just can't stop. Now I feel like I'm so invested in it that I have to keep watching!
Also, it make me feel better that I don't have nearly as much drama in my life.

I hate Target. It's just a rich girl's Walmart. It's a wallet-sucking black hole of useless crap. Crap that I can easily convince myself I need. I stopped going there and cut up my red card and have saved so much money this month already.

....or the Goonies. I never watched it as a child and I find the characters obnoxious. My mom also never let me listen to NKOTB so they hold no nostalgic value for me either.
GOT: Huge fan of Daenerys Targaryen though! Such a badass character and I love her character development over the seasons.

NOOOOOOOOOO!! Target is amazing!
I second this. I HATE Walmart. With a passion. They don't even compare.
I am fairly confident I could live at Target. It's amazing. I love love love Target.
@ashbear720 I loved How I Met Your Mother so so much, but absolutely hated the finale and pretty much the whole last season. It was garbage. And I was mad about it for way too long after it ended. No desire to watch reruns now either even though it was so good in the beginning.

Tiny houses are ridiculous. I mean, they're cute and all, but anyone who thinks they can transition from living in a standard size house to one of those is delusional. (Mom, I'm looking in your direction...).
I facepalm when people say they want a tiny house and then complain that the floor plan isn't open enough, the bathroom is too small and they can't stand the composting toilet.

Whoa! What is a composting toilet?? It sounds like something DH would love and I would loathe.
@sboston06 love danerys too! I hope she makes it to kings landing soon. I too am growing tired of the whiny people at the wall. Glad sam got out of there!
@KDHB13 I love(loved?) Jon snow too. But he can't be my fave anymore because he is dead (maybe?). Lol. I like Briene too but she missed her chance to help Sansa! Can't wait to find out what happens!!

A dry toilet that recycles poop into garden fertilizer! I'm totally with you in the loathe category.

Holy moly @virginiaham I hope to god DH never finds out about such devices!
@rkstro2 I'm going with he's still alive. Have you read all the crazy fan theories that he's really a Targaryen? Andplusalso, if he's really dead, they need more eye candy for the ladies on that show!
@sldp123 and @ashbear720 yes! The ending ruined the show for me. Every time I watch the reruns I think about how it ends and it makes me mad so I stopped watching them. Have you seen the alternate ending? I try to block out the tv ending and go with this one instead.

AAHHHHHH. I somehow hadn't seen this before. All. The. Feels. I basically imagine that the finale ended when he said "And that's how I met your mother" - so this totally works for me.

TTC #1 --- BFP #1 5/15, loss at 5 weeks --- BFP #2 12/15, loss at 4+3 --- RE testing 3/16 normal, still trying for our rainbow
1) I've never seen a tiny house, but I have 1000 things so that would never do.
2) I very slightly worry that someone might figure me out on here. But oh well, I have no shame.
3) I like dogs and cats, but dogs are friendlier. And FTR, cats eat poop too!
4) Pumpkin sucks.
5) Winter (and its cold and snow) sucks too.
6) Starburst: Orange and Pink. Red and yellow only when Orange and Pink are gone.
7) Cramps, gas, tomato, tomahto.
8) Don't even get me started about taxes. But I will say this: if they can find you when you owe them, they can find you when they owe you. Why should I have to file for my refund?!
9) As with most books-turned-movies, Twilight and 50 Shades are much better books than movies.
10) Drive thrus: see #5.
11) Never heard of the Paleo diet. But I don't believe in dieting. Exercise is sufficient.
12) I also worry that I might not get my social security or that they will do away with it before I can collect. I would be pissed.
13) Game of Thrones, no thanks.
14) LOVE HIMYM. I hated the mother. So I'm happy with the series finale! Although, the last season in general WAS garbage.
15) Not even touching Star Wars and Goonies LOL
16) Every day/month is something awareness day/month. It's overwhelming.
That's my 16 cents on everyone else's UO (hope I didn't miss anyone lol) and now for mine...
Tiny houses are ridiculous. I mean, they're cute and all, but anyone who thinks they can transition from living in a standard size house to one of those is delusional. (Mom, I'm looking in your direction...).
I've been waiting all week to rant about Tiny Houses! Thank you for posting this! I watched a Tiny House Hunters Marathon last weekend and I just think people are NUTS! DH and I live in a small apartment and it's driving me crazy. No room for storage, no room to host guests, only one bathroom, tiny kitchen with no prep space.....I can't wait until we move in the spring. The fact that people are downsizing and want to willingly live in a super tiny space confuses me. I'd like to see a follow up show where they all sell their tiny house and move back to a regular sized one. I give most people 6 months before they feel trapped and their belongs are consuming the space.
@rkstro2 I'm going with he's still alive. Have you read all the crazy fan theories that he's really a Targaryen? Andplusalso, if he's really dead, they need more eye candy for the ladies on that show!
Hellooooo R+L=J! And yes, hopefully he's alive because
Haha... I loooooove looking at tiny houses, and ooh-ing and ahh-ing over the clever storage, but I would never be able to live in one! We did a 600 sq ft apartment for a little over a year, and that was obnoxious. I do like moderate, reasonable houses.. we're buying a 2070 sq ft house, and that's about the top end of what I'd want to live in (and nearly the bottom end of what they build here in Houston!).
I really love all kinds of "minimalism porn." It's soothing. Headlines like "family of 4 in a 1-bedroom condo" or "living in a repurposed school bus" will suck me in every. single. time. But when it comes to real life, I like my space.
@Maydar - I think you hit the nail on the head. I love the organization of the tiny homes but could never actually live in one. I could spend a whole paycheck in the Container Store!! The thing I don't get about the tiny houses is why don't you just buy a condo? Then you have someone to do all your maintenance for you. That's why DH and I are buying in the Boston suburbs instead of living in the city.
Lol I guess my UO is that I love tiny houses. They're just so cute and smart. I've been konmari-ing my stuff so I have less, hoping to reach a minimalist click-point soon. I have already in a few places but some still feel like they have too much stuff. i just don't think I could talk dh into it, plus tiny houses don't really work with kids.
But really, minimalism for life. It's so freeing having less crap.

I agree completely with the minimalism mindset! Not tiny houses. Modest-sized is fine. But as far as THINGS go, yes, less is way more.
