Just wanted to update from my vent a couple of days ago about my woes in trying to schedule a specialist appointment due to elevated AFP levels in my second trimester screen - I had the appointment today and all is well! Looks like the screen was just a false alarm. So relieved and thankful! Feel like I can breathe again for the first time in a week and a half.
@MrsLeanMeanClean now I want chips... And we have queso at home too. I'm making Indian Food tonight but DH is working late so I obviously need a snack

DH is kind of picky so I am going to stick to what I know he likes which is butter chicken and that's about it. I can't wait to be done working so I can go downtown for lunch and gorge myself at the Indian buffet
Can I go back to the Oreos for a second? There is this tiny pizza place back in SC that has deep fried Oreos. They serve 4 with vanilla ice cream drizzled with chocolate sauce! So delicious!
Glad to hear of everyone's healthy little ones! Our a/s is finally tomorrow. I'm excited to check on our sweet girl. I have to be honest though, I'm a little nervous due to this anterior placenta. I know everything is probably ok but i miss the reassurance from the kicks I had last time.
Oh you know, same people that I'm sure elicit an eye roll from you guys, too. I just don't understand the women that make these grand proclamations that they hate it here and aren't coming back....and then they ask a question or post something rude a few days later.
Just ordered our Thanksgiving gender reveal ice cream cake :-) they are going to dye the vanilla layer either pink or blue. It makes me even more excited to find out with our families at Thanksgiving.

Ds has had a runny nose off and on for about 3 weeks, so I didn't think anything of it when it came back yesterday. Well I came out of the shower around 1130 last night and caught what I'm pretty sure was the tail end of a febrile seizure on the baby monitor. Went in his room and he was burning up 103.7. Needless to say we didn't get muh sleep last night. Poor little guy is still running a temp over 101 even with Advil. So I guess it is off to the doctors for us today
Today, on this, the first wonderful day of unemployment, it has become uncomfortable to lie on my back. Goodbye, most wonderful back sleeping. You will be missed.
Starting to get a little panicky about having 3 again. Like I'm tired enough as it is with 2 kids how am I possibly going to keep up with 3. And I know that @kynbar5 is laughing her head off at me right now. Anyone else panicking a little?

I want to preface this comment by saying that my DH is a good man who takes very good care of me. Last night I wanted to punch him, though. I was upstairs laying down ( I'd had a headache all day, it's still here, I hate it) and watching some Downton Abbey. He was working out and then building some Legs with our son. At 7 I got a text saying "Can you come down and make dinner now?" I almost reached through the phone to throttle him. I mean, dinner was already made, it just needed to be heated up. And, it was soup, so not exactly complicated. It's not worth fighting about, because he does so many other things for me to make my life easier right now, but I was pretty furious. Whew. That feels better, thanks for letting me vent!
@skruhmin - right there with you. I'm so excited to meet this baby and to do the newborn stage again (my fave!). But I'm terrified of balancing the needs of 3 kids. Especially getting DD1 to school on time . . . and getting the younger two on the same nap schedule so I can nap too. Haha.
@cmerribury - Yeah, I'd be pissed. My DH hasn't liked the dinner I made the past two nights (both things I've made lots of times before and he's never complained!), so asked nicely if he could just pick something up from a restaurant on the way home tonight. Ha! I'm about ready to throw in the towel and let him buy dinner every night if my cooking is so awful!
