Oh man, I love rice pudding. Hahaha. I think I'm the opposite of all of you when it comes to sweets. Or I'm actually 97...rice pudding and oatmeal raisin cookies.
Anyway, anatomy scan tomorrow morning!! Can't wait to see little man and hear how he's doing. I am a bit nervous, though. I think two losses just makes me a bit gun shy. Fingers crossed!
Ugh guys, went to make my coffee this morning, dropped the freaking pot and it shattered- right along with my heart... Yep, I cried. Husband heard it break, came into the kitchen to make sure I was okay, saw me crying so he thought I got cut. Nope, just really wanted my morning coffee. (

I'd cry too, @kynbar5. I've actually been an emotional basket case a lot lately.
I always walk DD into school, but today it was raining and cold, and we were running really late. I didn't want to take the time to park the car and get DD2 out of the carseat, so I just dropped DD1 off at the door . . . and totally got choked up watching her walk in all by herself.
And last night, DH admitted he didn't like the dinner I made. I took it way too personally . . . Oh, pregnancy . . .
Married 7.29.05 :: DD1 5.11.10 :: DD2 1.23.13 :: Baby Boy due 3.13.16!
@kynbar5 - I would cry also. I love my coffee too much. I did that to a jar of pickles a few months ago. Pickle juice everywhere. I was crying because I didn't want to clean up the mess lol.
Haha! Yesterday afternoon something made me feel really sick for a few minutes - I asked hubs to bring me a string cheese, and I totally heard him heavy sigh - I started crying bc he was so put-out grabbing something out of the fridge when I was the one trying to not puke. And then I got a huge attitude and snapped at him when he asked where they were in the fridge (same place as ALWAYS) and brought me two. Haha he took it well though Sorry about the pot though @kynbar5! I'd be treating myself to my face Starbucks or something as consolation

Oh! Random about my appt yesterday - I asked where my placenta is bc I've felt movement much earlier (for me) this time, and apparently it's anterior again! I was really surprised bc I have been definitely feeling the baby (not huge or consistently though), but then when we were watching it, the baby was really doing some HUGE stretching and kicking around and I didn't feel any of it. She told me that most mamas would feel those kinds of movement with no AP, so the baby must be pretty active and getting in just the right spot when I do feel it. Also explains why husband can't feel stuff I think he should be feeling haha. Anyway. I found it interesting. My 4th AP, but the earliest I've felt quickening.

Reading about Oreos at 8:30 in the morning....yep...pregnant ladies. I realize it was last night but I was asleep haha.
@kynbar5 I am so sorry about your coffee pot I had a good coffee morning but I won't talk about it.
@oceanchild I am glad to hear your AS went well! Mine is tomorrow and I've been really nervous about it too. I've been having lots of dreams where they tell me something is wrong with baby. Most of them are completely unrealistic like "the baby is just gone" but still I know it's because I am nervous.
So Timehop brought this picture up. Yes, we did the stereotypical baby in the pumpkin photo since DS2 was 3 months old. It's probably one of my favorite pictures of him.
I'm having one of those easily annoyed days. I think it's because I don't feel super great. My husband in particular is really getting on my nerves. He keeps talking about how awesome he is at carving pumpkins... He's carved one...three years ago...and it was just the shape of a football player. I'll give him credit that his idea was clever but its not like it's some tactically executed masterpiece. So he's moved on from how skilled he is to how clever he is...I'm just like yes I want constant reminding that you put more effort into this pumpkin for likes on your stupid sports forum than you do on anything for me ever. Hormone rage for real. I just had a flash back to my last birthday where the only thing he did was get me a card...that he forgot..because "you know I'm not clever". BUT GOD FORBID SOMEONE FORGET ABOUT THIS DANG PUMPKIN FOR A SECOND
Thank goodness you ladies were talking about lightning crotch, I'm pretty sure I had it last night, and I was like well that was interesting, but it saved me a call to the doctors. So thank you!!

Hey ladies!! Just left anatomy scan and everything looked great!! Baby boy is developing right on time for due date. I do have an anterior placenta, which is why I've only been feeling kicks to the side of my belly. His heartbeat was 152 and he spent the whole appointment sucking his thumb.

SO CUTE! I can't wait to see little girl tomorrow. I hope she sucks her thumb for us too. I am glad your little one is healthy!
@oceanchild I know this is not your first baby but I can't remember if you have boys or girls. I always wanted to have a pregnancy where we were team green but couldn't do it as I was always so anxious to see if we were finally having a girl. I wonder if I would have the will power to do it if I had one of each? Have you always been team green? I am always curious about how people can not find out. Sorry for all the questions

@yodapup - I did that too! I don't think I cried, but was certainly angry. I didn't want to clean it up either. I've found pickles nauseating throughout this pregnancy and unfortunately my entire apartment smelled like pickles for a few hours.
On a totally random note: My a/s is one week from today! Yay!
Another totally random note: 1 spice cake mix & a 15 oz can of pumpkin = Delicious pumpkin spice muffins. 350* for 20-25 minutes. Super easy and very tasty. I'm going to have to make them again very soon
As long as the food has been brought up I put a loaf of homemade cinnamon roll bread into the oven about 15 minutes ago and my house is smelling absolutely heavenly! O:-)

Random, but DH's boss and one of his student's moms brought us a whole set of matching boy stuff, hardly used# a swing, bouncer, and a bunch of clothes! This baby is not gonna need a thing by the time he arrives!
@cmerribury congrats!! How cute :x you've reminded me to post one of my A/S pictures, my thumbs up from baby! I have a level 2 u/s tomorrow ladies, feeling pretty confident but all thoughts and prayers appreciated! Hope you're all well! Xx
Well that was random- we lost power at work for about 45 minutes. Just as we were hoping to go home, it came back on (boo :-q )
I'm surprised it came back on because the transformer down the street blew, and the Electric company hasn't responded yet.
We lost it too, I'm actually surprised you did because we are south syracuse
We are under a high wind warnings for all day and nasty rain. I work in Lowville- about an hour or so north east of Syracuse and an hour North of Utica.

@ecwk well thanks for all the feels, now I may or may not have my 3 year old looking at me asking "what's wrong mama?" I think the super emotional train is flying down the tracks for most of us today. >:D< Big hugs. Now I'm going to get a tissue :-S

@Torpedogirl I have a boy, then a girl, then another boy, but we have been team green every time. After the thrill of doing it once, I can't imagine doing it any other way. My husband and I have had opposite guesses with every baby, and he's been right all three times, while I've been wrong. This time we had the same initial guess (although now I'm second guessing myself LOL). This is really the first time I've been tempted to find out before birth, and my only reasons are bc I could go ahead and donate half the baby clothes I've saved, and to prep the kids (I'm worried my daughter may be really sad if she doesn't get a sister, bc she truly believes she is and doesn't completely understand we don't just get to pick). We keep talking about it though. But that moment at birth when husband finds out and tells me, it is just so amazing!!!!!

I think my hubs is even more into it now than me, @ewck! With the first one he reeeeally wanted to find out and I really didn't, so I told him if he promised to keep the secret he could find out. He said "no way, it wouldn't be as fun or fair." Now this time when I was admitting how tempting it seemed (esp with so many mamas in here just posting their news), he was like "nope nope nope! It's too awesome at the end - you'll regret caving for the last baby and you'll be glad you waited." And he's right. So I'm just enjoying hearing what everyone else is having right now haha! One of my friends is always like "I don't know how you do it; I never could!" And I just shrug and say "we used to not have a choice!" When we were kids, our parents couldn't find out. (We being myself and brother and my husband and his sisters. We are no spring chickens LOL #getoffmylawn)

I thought now would be a good time to buy Halloween candy, that I wouldn't be too tempted to eat it... nope. Four mini kit kats eaten and the rest of the bag is calling my name. Saturday, come quickly!!!
@ecwk my husband would just die if we got a picture like that. Thumbs up (Gig 'Em) is the hand gesture from our old college and he is really hard core about it. He'd be so proud haha. Poor kid is expected to be the 4th generation going to school there
