See we *could* spend the money on that it's just painful to do so haha....the set I want is $170 for the bed skirt and the sheet. You can't buy the skirt without the sheet....tricky butt heads. I was going to sew it myself but the fabric is $25 a yard. I've resigned myself to make it a project for my mom and I to do. I've found some fabric at Hobby Lobby for about $5 a yard so I think I will just make my own stuff. That way I can do the blanket and the pillow case/curtains or whatever my heart desires for much cheaper.
We are doing something kind of aztec-ish. I liked both of these
That fabric is really cute. I would totally be a DIY person if I was at all crafty or could sew. 170.00 for the crib skirt and sheet is pretty pricey especially considering you want at least two sheets due to diaper leakage. The sheets I bought ended up being like 14.00 with the coupon and sale so not too bad.
So I had the anatomy scan this morning! Baby looks amazing and everything looks great. I also found out I also have an anterior placenta and that explains why I haven't been feeling a whole lot of movement. I was really hoping to join team blue this time but we're having another girl! It's great that we can reuse everything from DD especially since they'll be the same seasons but we were kinda hoping for a boy. I wanted to decorate a boy's nursery. Oh well, I'm still happy everything looks great!
On a separate note, my husband has a cousin who is 28 but acts about 13 on Facebook. I'm talking air her dirty laundry all day everyday. She recently got dumped by the second love of her life this month and commented on EVERY picture of the two of them on Facebook talking shit to him.

anyway she just posted a picture of her kids (yes she has two of them) report card including her daughter full name, teachers name, student ID number, School name the whole 9 yards,

And also, I have some Peter Pan lithographs from the film that I'm going to frame in baby's nursery area, and now every time I look at them thats all I'm going to be able to think about. Horrifying.
I'm home from work and was starving, so I headed for the fridge and found the jar of pickles. What did I wash it down with?- chocolate milk. Sounds a - ok in my book!

February Siggy Challenge- Post pregnancy indulgences
Oh- I got my shot, and nurse checked the heartbeat since I told her DD fell on me. 153. Doctor has been out sick this so far week, so I didn't see him. But that's ok.
And we are going to delete our target registry and start a new one- since we just got a flyer in the mail for a $20 gift card if i start a new target registry. So that will be happening this weekend!

Congrats! I understand the momentary disapointment. We were really hoping for a girl but are having another boy! I think I was over it in about 30 mins and we are super excited to give DS a brother!

I don't know if it's disappointment or just that the anticipation is over - and I know, DDay brings enough anticipation. We both thought this one was going to be a girl, but since we can't seem to make a girl to save our life, we're excited. Maybe disappointment in that we really have no excuse to NOT reuse everything if that makes sense. Our pocketbook will thank us.

Starting up organic grocery delivery service again since we're in the new house. I HATE going to the grocery store. The thought of NOT having to go there every week makes me super giddy.

Good luck to all with appointments today and congrats to those of you who had good ones!!! I genuinely look forward to bumping when I get home from work....I think I have a problem! And now to go check on today's BSC threads! Also, twenty weeks today!!! Woohoo!!! I'm loving my bump homepage and the fact I've less time to go than for how long I've been pregnant! (Though technically I didn't find out until I was like 4 weeks). @oceanchild congrats on this milestone too, due date buddy!!!

Ummm I LOVE grocery shopping but I also don't have any kids yet...so I'll probably change my mind.

It's just one of those things I HATE taking time to do since I'm outside of the house so long during the week. I just want to spend time with my babies and not have to spend it at the store.

Lol @ the thoughts of you picking up some pregnant friends outside Babies R Us or something! But I know how the hormones can intensify feelings, they even make me just plain irrational from time to time anyway! Not that you're not justified in being POd!
Y'all are too much today. I'll honestly say that I'm bummed the Peter Pan nightmare didn't get a little more dramatic.
I fell asleep last night before taking my neasua meds and I am paying for it today. Apparently this baby did not get the memo that I'm not interested in her morning sickness anymore.

Do you like it? Is it expensive? I've always wondered about these but never known anyone that uses them.

It turns out it's about the same as going to the store if you're shopping for a family of 4. Not sure about your case. And we will have to still do the occasional trips to Costco for toilet paper/paper towel. But for weekly shopping, I can spend about $100-120 to feed my family - and it's all organic.

@yodapup congrats on baby girl.
I crawled into bed at 840 tonight... I am so beat tonight. Happy I managed to wash dishes and tidy toys, but sad I am in bed before 9. Need to rest up, this is my only quiet night. Tomorrow I have to write IEP progress notes and Thursday I need to bake cupcakes for my class, make frosting, and carve pumpkins. Going to be a busy week!
My appt went well! Baby looked healthy, so yay!( I'm sure some of you may remember from another thread that I was really fixated/anxious that something was going to be wrong – hormones are seriously messing with my head this go-round). Anyhow, it was so reassuring to hear that baby looked good!

DH told me about the Oreo rice and even pregnant me won't touch that with a 9 foot pole. :-&
Oh yeah, it's the least visually appetizing thing I've seen in a while. But Oreos just make things magic. You ever try those Oreo + cream cheese balls? They are so effing good but I wouldn't have believed it unless I tried it. Then again I really hate the texture of rice pudding so I don't know....
