Do you push yourself through your fatigue or do you let yourself rest/nap all day?

  • I have a 4 year old and a 19 month old. I'm a full time stay at home mom with a business on the side. I have no choice but to push through the fatigue.

  • I work full-time and I'll be 5 weeks on Thursday, so the exhaustion has just started. This past weekend I took 3 hour naps in the middle of the day Saturday and Sunday. Yesterday at work I napped under my desk for an hour at lunch and that totally got me through the afternoon. I'll probably just do that whenever I'm feeling it. I vote sleep if you can!
  • Glad I'm not the only one feeling like a total lazy bones. DH and I are usually go go go, so he's still in that mode, and I feel so bad that I just lay on the couch in between naps. Just going to work takes it ALL out of me. Idk how you 2nd+ time moms do it! Props.
  • I find that if I am not working, I am sleeping.  I am a teacher and then I tutor after school so most days I get home around 6:30pm.  I find I usually eat dinner and watch a little TV, but by 8:00 the light is off and I am ready to sleep.  Of course, I wake up 3-4 times a night to pee, which is fantastic lol.  The weekends I notice it the most.  I feel like I sleep the entire weekend!
  • Unable to nap. But pretty much in bed all day. Accomplish a task or two a day... or none.
