SAHM. I was in banking prior to my first pregnancy. I took off when I was about 4 months along and haven't worked since. I've considered going back but with the cost of daycare there really aren't any jobs where I live that would be worth it for us.
I'm a case manager for Felony Drug Court. So I spend my days either in court or the office helping drug addicts (mostly heroin) get whatever treatment they need to get their lives back on track.
I work at the main office of Firstbank as a risk analyst. With my last pregnancy I worked until the week before my due date. If I can I will be doing this again. I dont know how im going to tell my boss lol. I just gave birth this past March
Currently I'm a nursing student but I graduate this December with my BSN. My first job will most likely be hospice or home health because I have a background in those fields and a few contacts. Within a year or two I want to be a school nurse. I have spent a ton of time doing school nursing through out my education and I love it. Not to mention the perks of holidays, weekends, and summers off!
@NavyFlyer that's so cool. DH is a C-2 pilot and I'm always impressed by his female squadron mates and how they handle being in such a boys club.
I'm a marine engineer working for a shipyard. Mostly I just keep a bunch of old men from acting like children... I hope to keep working right up to when I give birth, and then post maternity leave and military move stay with the same company, or at least still working in the industry.

I'm an nurse and work in the medical ICU for adults. I will prob cut my hours to part time, I can get full benefits at 20 hours. DH health insurance is blah and mine I have no out of pocket cost.
I'm a dental hygienist for a pediatric dentist. I would like to be more part time, 2 days a week would be ideal for me.
Ooh, I've wanting to talk to a pediatric dentist! Off topic but when do I take my DS to the dentist?
We recommend 18-24 months. I've heard by their first birthday at another office, and some offices wait till 2. Most important thing to do is brush! Don't let your child dictate that. I see wayyyy too many kids who have bombed out teeth, and we have to take them to the hospital to be put under. Also, watch snacking- limit sticky (fruit snacks, gummy vitamins), juice, and any other drink to meal times/snack time. Push water throughout the day. Sorry for the rambling, I just see some very sad things at work.

Ramble away!! This is such good information!! We don't give him any juice and he drinks tons of water but we're having a helluva time brushing his teeth! This solidifies that we just need to try harder!! Thank you so much!!

SAHM during the day, dance teacher M-Th afternoon/evenings. I would like to be a high school dance team director but the hours can be tough and my current job offers me more flexibility I'm happy the timing of this pregnancy worked out that all my choreographing and harder teaching will be over before I'm huge.
I teach fourth grade but I also have my masters and certification in school guidance counseling and would love to be working as a school counselor if anything would open up in my area. I'm also currently working on my Masters in professional counseling so that I won't be limited to a school setting.
January Siggy Challenge: Why I don't shop at Walmart
I'm an administrator at a non-profit focusing on public health research. I manage the budgets, grants, clinical trials and other administrative functions for a group of about 30. I love my job and plan to go back to work after maternity leave.
I'm a SAHM. Before DS was born I worked in marketing, primarily social media, but hated it so it made my decision to stay home easy. I also have an Esty shop and spend most of my free time sewing!
Re: GTKY Where do you work?
