Eh. Sex will only happen after a good cleaning. I know it won't be daily washes but a bath in a lake, pond, or river every once in a while is ok by me. We will just pull out. Hopefully that will work. And definitely going to buy a menstrual cup now.

Our property is edged by a large brook on two sides and a large river across the road so I'm hoping we'll manage to keep clean. Our area is also lowly populated so I don't feel it'll be too unsafe to venture out frequently to wash.

Can we make it to your place? You know they are redoing the evacuation plan for Boston right now. They called with a survey last night and I told them that we're all going to die before we reach the Charlton plaza on the mass turnpike because everybody will run out of gas. The survey taker told me that it would likely be in Natick. ) ) )
We almost moved to Western Mass this year, but I wound up accepting a different job. Now I'm questioning this decision since apparently there was a great zombie bunker out there!!
You guys, if we can lock down and clear out "the land" at Epcot, we could have a sustainable garden and fishery - we'd just need to figure out how to fuel the generators. DH and I were discussing logistics while on Living With The Land today.
Walking Dead is on Netflix and since we didn't finish the last season we watched a couple episodes last night. I dreamt of zombies all night. Thanks TWD!!
Anyone watching FWD? dont want to spoil cause I wasn't getting into it at the beginning. But it got good yesterday... There is certainly a lot to be said for forceful extraction of information.
New game: name your top three items for the apocalypse. (No people or pets, just things you would grab for your go bag or to throw in your car). This is tricky, because depending on the type of apocalypse, those top three might vary, but name three only.

Thanks for not spoiling. I have this last episode recorded but haven't sat down to watch it yet.
@spottedginger you want 3 individual items or would like a survival pack full of stuff count as one item?
Just offered my husband some yogurt. Got to the refrigerator and realized it was a few days past the sell by date. I tasted it and it was fine. He refused to even taste it. He said, "Don't you know this is how the zombie apocolypse starts??" So we threw the yogurt away.

Oh crap! Is it just expired yogurt or does that go for orange juice too? Because my orange juice was sell by the 18th!!!

Girl I don't know but I guess I'm a zombie now because I totally tasted that biohazard yogurt.
All I have to say is #carolforpresident @kristen2b plus the hairdresser! I feel like that's how I would kill if someone came to threaten my kid. With GUSTO. It will be my pleasure to kill the crap out of you.
I really hope the zombie apocalypse doesn't happen while I have a baby. How do you make a baby understand it can't cry because the zombies will hear and surround the building trying to eat you?- you don't.
I do not know how I missed this thread but Oh My Word.
I feel like I have come home. DH is a zombie fanatic and as such I get stuck watching these terrifying, nightmare inducing shows with him quite often.
Therefore we end up discussing the pending doom quite often. I believe we are sorted between our two families. DH parents live in a veritable fortess with a genny, a diesel storage for said genny, and a veggy garden in the back yard. My dad is a pretty awesome hunter and has a boat for fishing and also to get away from previously mentioned zombies because we all know they dont have the brain power to swim. DH and I have a vast amount of zombie knowledge between the two of us...
Bottom line - once it hits we WILL survive this. Which is the only way I manage to sleep at night after watching things like Fear The Walking Dead and Z Nation.

Only 3 is difficult!! The princess in me wants to say: change of underwear, toothbrush/paste, and a headband. Lol
@Daphneh28 we don't have cable so we haven't watched FWD, but it may be something we watch soon through other means.

Dang. That makes it more difficult.
My apocalypse is of the Zombie kind...
1.This Knife (has a flint to start fires)
2. This thing...
3. A bundle of multi-purpose rope.
