Not feeling like a beached whale when I'm trying to get up.. Asking for help to put on and tie my shoes (that's really embarrassing for me to ask my husband for such a silly task even though he's very willing to help).. I'm ready to not be so winded and out of breath from walking up the stairs... And having as much trop-a-rocka tea (it's diet and if you havent had it I suggest you try it! Some people love it some don't but I think it's delicious!!)as I want and not have to worry about anything...
I no joke have a hard time getting my underpants on. I have an old injury to my left hip from soccer that gets bad when my weight increases. It's so embarrassing to ask DH for help when he is home but when he is not home (most of the time) there are some serious acrobatics to get that left leg in there.
A bloody great big mug of tea with caffeine! Thank the stars my mum has been keeping me supplied with proper Tetley's decaf which actually tastes like tea. I have about 7 different brands of decaf black tea from three different supermarkets in the cupboard right now and they all took out the flavour along with the caffeine. British tea bags have more tea per bag so they at least taste of something. Also the microbrewery next to work has been calling to me since it opened in May, and I am dying to try it with the husband. See also: champagne, a cold Yeungling, unoaked Chardonnay, and/or a good mojito. And lying on my stomach.
Being called maman
Not being so hungry
Having sex
Otherwise really all the mommy stuff, I don't feel my life changed being pregnant, no frustrations beside sex.
I always said I wanted alcohol after DD1 but the reality is, I am as sober now as I was then. I had a beer or two post pregnancy but I'm always the DD because pumping while inebriated sucks.
This time around, I want sex, chocolate, and a good night's sleep.
I want to find the biggest margarita and swim in it. And I want to ride a roller coaster. And do things you can't do while pregnant, even if I never did them before pregnancy.
exercising, enjoyable sex, cocktails, lots of raw fish without feeling guilty, whoever said getting a loaded lox bagel before--you're speakin' my language!

That would be me.... I'm making someone get me one from my favorite spot for my first meal post delivery!
Already missed baseball season.. But now I can't wait for skating with my fiancé we got bean a little sleigh and her baby bjorn so she can come to! Can't wait for that moment I've had it painted in my brain since before I found out I was pregnant.
Running, getting back to my crazy cross training schedule, eating how ever little or much or whenever I like without stupid carb counting, no more needle sticks, no more testing, definitely with PPs on stomach sleeping, Merlot, Pasta...so much Pasta...and bread. Buttered Popcorn with snocaps mixed in. My fresh juices and smoothies that I make....
Good, imported cheese. Steak - not well done. A large glass of a bold red wine. High heels. Advil. And being able to pick stuff off the floor without feeling like I need a crane to help me back up.

My husband some days when my hips hurt he has to help me put on my underwear and pants it makes me feel really bad!! I can't wait to not ask for help.. Also if I sit a certain way my hips start to hurt.. I hurt myself all the time when I was playing sports and it wouldn't surprise me if it was a soccer injury that I just brushed off lol
-I really want some raw oysters. -A Bloody Mary or 4. -Tanning (I know, I know.) -Fake nails. I haven't had fake nails all pregnancy bc they grow out so fast it doesn't seem worth it.
-Beer (Christmas/Winter beers and a good stout) -Wine (Shiraz) -being able to walk to the park with DD and play with her -being able to give DD a bath without needing a nap afterwards (same goes for putting on socks and shoes) -sushi -Eating curry without the heartburn afterwards!

FYI nursing hunger can be way stronger that pregnancy hunger. Just thought I would throw that out there. I never ate more that when I was nursing my son. I was ravenous. All. The. Time.
I think with me, the main thing I'm looking forward to is being able to hold my daughter. Also, not being so dependent on others to do anything. And (possibly) being able to find out why I'm always having migraines for the past almost 3 1/2 years.
Raw sushi and sashimi Cold salami and fresh mozzarella hoagie Triple cream Brie Beer (give me all the stout, please!) Being able to get into a comfortable sleeping position Pants Being able to walk around and work without every single person asking me how much longer till the baby comes Being able to walk the dog without having BH Bending over Walking up stairs without feeling like i just ran a marathon.
DH told me to "throw on my shoes" so we could go somewhere the other day and I was like "oh, yea like it's THAT easy to just throw on my shoes..." He looked at me weird but I feel like you all will understand lol!
so---
putting socks and shoes on like a normal person/ and underwear is a task as well
picking up dirty laundry by the handfuls again, pretty much impossible right now...
picking up things in general
rolling over in bed and getting up from couches and not feeling like a beached whale while doing so
not peeing 500X per night (day as well)
painting my own toenails
wearing a normal bra and no pants that go up to under my boobs spandex style
sex without my belly in the way
a BIG FAT sangria... or 4
ok I could probably go on all day... no judging....
Rare steak. Weightlifting. Having room in my torso again (aka breathing). Margaritas!!!! No more hip pain. Having a sex drive again. Having my LO here with me. Normal heartburn again. Hopefully planning my wedding. Working again.
A very dirty martini, some raw oysters and a proper night out on the town with DH.
ugh, it was just mean of you to post this! 10 am on a Monday morning and now oysters and a dirty vodka rocks martini is all I can think about! t-minus 35 more days...
I want to fit into the Silver jeans that I bought right before finding out I was pregnant... That was a bit of a let down lol. I know it'll take time again but they will fit!!
Also FTM - be prepared to not sleep on your belly for a couple weeks at least. Those engorged boobs hurt more than your belly at times! I will never forget giving my FIL a chest bump when I went to hug him good bye....
