Hi All I am new to the Bump. I just did FET 5dt yesterday, so day 2 of the TWW. This was a natural cycle but feeling bloated and crampy....anyone else have symptoms this early?
Beta level updat today was 800! So definitely a solid increase from 300 48 hours ago. The only thing is they aren't having me come back for blood work until next Friday?! The nurse also mentioned they are going to call me to schedule my ultrasound in the next week or two. Is this normal? I'm not ready to be off on my own yet, give me my training wheels back! Haha
@runmeg91 what day are you today? I forgot if you had an et or fet? After my bloodwork today my re said i would be ok without coming in again for bloodwork until my U/S! I told her that I really wanted to come in again so i'll go back on tuesday (that will be 15dp5dt). Did re said anyrhing about your numbers?chances of twins?
@Christiniv I'm 18dpo and we did an ET. I think I'm like 4.5 weeks right now give or take? The nurse said my numbers are good, but she didn't say anything about twins. My numbers are solid but I don't think they are high enough for twins? Also, we only transferred one blast so I'm almost positive it's a singleton unless it split? I think that's rare though right?
@cooper0918 Hi and congrats! Embryo will implant within 1-3 days after FET so you could already be in the implantation window. If your FET was yesterday, you are considered 1dp5/6dfet (not 2 quite yet!).
@runmeg91 as you are 2 day further than me you are 4 +4d today I read that number dont always indicatenif its twins or singletons. I was wondering if your nurse said sth.
All of you who already had the forst u/s: is it in the 7th week (so 6w+d) or 6th week (5w + d)?
I wish my Dr's only did 2 betas. I am 8 weeks on Tuesday (final sono, labs and graduation day). They do a sono, check hcg, progesterone, estridol and tsh weekly. If my numbers don't go where I think they should, up too fast or down I freak out. My nurse said it causes a lot of stress with the patients knowing so much information. It's SO true.
@athompson0308 To a point ignorance is bliss! I always ask very few questions... just tell me my next step.. lol. I figure it'll just stress me out if there's a reason for a med change, etc.
@Christiniv The doubling time is much more important than the actual #. Some people just run high or low, no worries. Just want it to increase steadily!!!
I have my ultrasound scheduled for Wednesday. So curious if there is 1 or 2 in there! I will be 6w0d, I think!
My first us is on Thursday and I'll be 5+6 I think! gah! It can't come soon enough! I'm going to POAS this weekend just to see it pop positive. I've never seen a positive pregnancy test and I want some proof since I'm having the same nerve racking abatement of daily monitoring!
Hey everyone. They are making me wait until Thursday to get the blood pregnancy test. I'm irritated because the doctor told us 10 days. We've had some frustrating experiences with our clinic and communication. Still staying positive. Until Thursday. What's a few more days? Sigh.
Well, I lost it tonight. 2 months of shots, a month of which in the tush. A tush that's not healing. I swear I felt I ripping through layers of skin and muscle. The second the shot went in tears and boogers were flowing down my face. I was making these weird sobbing noises.
Thank god I'm not the only one, @athompson0308 . DH came home tonight and asked if I was icing yet and I threw a tantrum. So embarassing but I can barely feel the shame through my grump. But my butt really itched and hurt today and I've got bumps and knots and the last few nights have hurt and I'm grateful to have a reason but idonwannna!!! ( also my throat hurts and I have a headache and I hate all the foods I love two weeks ago. Waaahmbulance for 1 please.
Thanks Ti.. They really made me angry. Your post made me laugh so thanks for that. I don't understand the waiting 3 extra days when she said 10. It's going to be her fault j do a hope pregnancy test.
@Joyzie77 i al sorry! No way you can tell her you want to to go in on day10? What did she respond-whats the reason? At a certain point in treatment i believe that if medically it is possible you should say what you want. Most of us are paying tons of money for ivf -even if some dont - this is a kind of service too. So i believe telling what you need fir yourself should be said! I mean worst case they say know but at least they shoukd tell us why @athompson0308 thanks you!! Inam hope all is going well! I am happy with one healthy little guy but wouldnt mind having 2
@Christiniv I've had to pick my battles with the office on this one. There are a few things that I've had to speak up on. I completely agree with you. I just decided to let this one go. When the nurse emailed me she said the doctor wanted to wait closer to 2 weeks. I guess I could ask for a reason but to tell you the truth it's not worth it to me on thus one. I am confused though because the doc was the one that said 10 day originally. I didn't tell you guys about the conversation I had with the nurse the night before my transfer. My husband and I had just had an appointment earlier that morning with the doctor about hie many embryos to transfer and we had decided that the Dr would decide the day of which two. So at 7 pm the night before my transfer I get one call from one nurse saying we had to pick the number and specify which for paperwork at the surgery center for the transfer. Thus was after we had JUST spoken to the doctor about our plan. Then I tell her I'm not choosing and she needs to talk to be doctor and I get a second call from another nurse about the same thing. My husband wAs so mad that don't have their stuff together. We were so confused about the lack of communication I. Their office. My husband called and clerked it up with the doctor in the morning. This is the kind of stuff we don't need to be stressed about the night before, you know? Grr. So, when the change of date came we decided to just let it go. I figure it will be accurate and I will test at home. I'm still irritated but I'm going to let it go. You are right, we are laying a lot of money and they need to get it together. Sorry to rant! It's all going to be ok.
@Joyzie77 %-( aaaah! Yes, definitely early. I panicked for a minute till I counted back. I wanted to say test early, but didn't want to push you one way or the other. Are you texting again Monday or waiting until the beta? :-SS X_X [-O<
I just looked at my lab work from Friday and they told me it was for progesterone and estrogen but it am so says HCG beta >0.100.. Does that mean they tested my HCG on Friday. Why would they have done that if they couldn't even get a reading at that point for HCG?
@Joyzie77 I think everyone going through fertility clinics has frustrating lack of communication stories. I have definitely pulled the 'medical necessity clarification' card. Ugh, hopefully you are close to the end of dealing with them!! @HBamama2B I feel like you.... irritable, allergies, and food is not super appealing...sad because I love to eat! at least no nausea.
