Shower Thoughts

So me and the SO were concerned about not getting all the gifts we registered for... y'all know people love to buy whatever they want!
So we decided to do an evite style shower. We included a message as well: if you don't want to buy anything you see on the registry, please include a gift card with your book and diaper raffle so we can complete our registry! What do you think? Isn't our invite just THE cutest?!

    Good idea! Or just have people buy their food, period! Just have it at a restaurant then people can order whatever they want then do separate checks.

    You have to do a cash bar (obviously) but make sure they announce that soda isn't included either. You don't want to have to provide that!

    I seriously want to put something on mine about how if people don't feel like they can buy something for these twins without knowing the sex then they don't need to buy anything. I get so frustrated with people who get upset/mad at me because we have not found out. I don't NEED your gifts. They would be nice and helpful of course, but to tell me that I'm inconveniencing you by doing what I want in regards to my pregnancy just irks me!

    Just make sure that registry has everything! Like future bed sets for when LO is a teenager and maybe a new dishes for the kitchen too.

    I put an iPad on mine because my newborn totes needs a new iPad. There's also some new toys for the animals because I don't want them to feel left out. I put a few things on there for me too, because I'm definitely going to need those new boots after the baby comes and I did just spend 9 months carrying him so I deserve to be pampered.
