I dropped my phone in the toilet over a week ago and it was fine except for the backlight being dim. I got in touch with a place that said it could fix it, went there on Friday and the guy working said I had to come back today because the repair guy doesn't work Fridays (no mention of that when I first called and was told to come in "any time"). Called this morning to double check that he'd be there before I drove over - no answer, no reply to voicemail. And a few hours ago my phone stopped connecting to the network, so I can't make calls or do anything while I'm out. I think I'll just be getting a new phone tonight.
I promised myself I wouldn't freak out over little things this pregnancy, but I already am. Convinced everything I eat out is going to make me sick/hurt the baby. If this were Tuesday on TTGP, I would be the twatwaffle.
@mrsschmity ugh don't even get me started on the leave. My company is under 50 so they don't even have to follow FMLA. So no guaranteed weeks off for me and no pay. Not cool. The most annoying this is they are trying to become this big progressive company and I'm over her like how the hell are you going to do that if your benefits suck?!
Oh, and I'm at a conference this week in Vegas. With multiple cocktail parties a night for 3 nights. I don't care that I'm not drinking. I just don't want the effing questions.

Yeah the TTGP board was pretty awesome - the vibe was great and the ladies were cool as shit. I loved the no BS, no sugar coating, no unicorn butterfly farts type approach. Don't feel bad. They are always happy to hear about BFPs from active members. After H and I tried for 5 cycles, seeing those BFPs from women on their first or second try got tougher the longer I was there, but that was my own issue ">
I didn't post my BFP on TTGP. I was over there two years ago while TTC my second and was back for a month before this one. I just didn't feel like I had been there enough. I try to be an active poster, but I'm just never sure if people recognize me. I quietly slipped over here and lurk there a bit now.
My pitty party is that my boys are running me ragged. We are on the go from the moment they wake up at 6:30 until they go to bed at 7:30. I was doing well with them napping at the same time a month ago. Now DS2 won't go down for his second nap until 3:30 and DS1 gets up then. I've tried changing times around, but nothing is working. I'm exhausted and need a nap! I've had three cups of coffee today and I feel guilty about over doing it on caffeine, but I'm still exhausted!
Tomorrow I might make stove popped popcorn, and have PJs and movie day. The weather is beautiful, but I need a break!
Sooo...I was quite irritated at work today. My office is so germ infested, and a lot of people there are just gross. Sick people all around coughing into the air makes me not want to breathe....and the women there! They have NO idea what flushing is, and what it means to WASH THEIR HANDS!!!!....I was ready to punch people....but I'm home now, so I feel better lol
I will definitely update you on how it all goes. The funny thing is that our trip is focused on Bavaria because DH is one of those beer snobs haha. So he has the whole trip planned in terms of top beers to taste and all the beer focus that is Bavaria. So I will soon have to crush his dream in telling him I can't drink at all! We will be spending Halloween there too. So got us these two shirts for it.
He will get a kick out of it with the classic beer steins on his. Haha.

Yeah totally will not mind haha. In fact he'll say he's drinking for three. And I'm ok with not drinking. I'm happy to be KU and I'm happy to have an awesome trip with him.

My pity party complaint is that my allergies are the worst they have ever been. I didn't want to have to take anything for them, but may have to give in and call my dr to see what I can take.
According to my Dr. Zyrtec is ok as well as claratin (sp?) And benedryl. I have really bad allergies so I actually called right away haha

Sushi from a reputable place is also low risk. I consume sushi during pregnancy. It's amazing.
Just be smart about where you buy your food.
