Random- why can't I start a new thread on the iPad? I've been on TB for 9 years, I should know this! I literally don't see an option. Hallp
Ok, I thought it was just me. I'm on an actual desktop computer and I still don't see an option for starting a new thread (I saw one before and have posted new threads too in the past).

Also...I saw someone else complaining about the "new thread" tab deleting in the first trimester board.

@mamadown I had my first ultrasound yesterday! I really didn't think we would see much at only 6 weeks (especially since they did an abdominal ultrasound) but sure enough we saw the tiny little dot of a baby with a blinking little heartbeat!!! What a great moment!
My OBGYN is frustrating the crap out of me....my GP confirmed by betas were increasing through draws on Oct. 1,2 &5 and forwarded it on to my OBGYN. She suggested I do a follow-up appointment asap because I went through some heavy bleeding and now (TMI) continuous brown discharge. So I called first thing Tuesday morning and the secretary informed me he would review the material sent by my GP and call me with an appointment.......I know it was only yesterday that I called but I would think with that and my most recent history he would have called me today...
My OB is driving me crazy, too. Too many tests etc already, and they're just making me freak out. Plus she keeps reminding me that "the miscarriage rate at this point is about 50%." Way to make me feel confident, but isn't that also incorrect? I'm 28, so I'm pretty sure it's only like 20%? I'm going to my u/s on Friday, and she wants to do another one after that I think, but then I'm done with her. I've already made an appointment to meet with a great midwife in my area. I really want a VBAC this time, and I think having a midwife is my best bet to make that work. Based on my current OB's behavior, it seems like she'd be really into lots of intervention, which would probably not result in a successful VBAC. I'm really excited to meet my midwife in a couple weeks!!
@FutureMrsCAF, good call on dropping your OB. Unless you are high risk, I have never heard of a 28 year old having a bunch of tests so early in the pregnancy, and where did she get the 50% statistic? You're right to be wary of her.
Me too @cattuccino. Sadly, I have students coming in a little over an hour, and I still haven't showered my nasty self yet, so it looks like it's Wild Kratts for DD and good hygiene for me. Womp womp.
Tomorrow we are telling Dh's parents and all of our siblings. Neither of us are excited to tell his parents... When we announced we were preg with DS they just kind of looked at us, smiled, and said "oh, ok". Very awkward. MIL has very openly expressed that she has enough grandkids and doesn't think we should have more than our 1 son. Do we really have to tell her?? :-L

That sounds terrible. I agree...do you really have to tell her? At the very least, do you have to tell her in person if that's going to be her reaction?
@mkemommy I had DS "draw" her a picture. I'm not saying a thing. I almost wanna just put it in her mailbox while we go next door to tell bro in law and sis in law. THEY will sqeal.

I like the idea of just dropping it in the mailbox. What a Scrooge she is.
Hi ladies! Newbie to the bmb here! Checking in from South Central PA :-) I just got my BFP tonight and am really excited for pregnancy/baby #2! Our daughter will be turning 2 next month.. I'm so ecstatic for her to be a big sister! Can't wait to get to know you all!
